Ihave been going to Green Thumb since I moved to Nepean 5 years ago. They have an excellent selection, are conveniently located, and are extremely knowledgeable, in addition to being helpful and friendly. I have bought everything from roses to seed to perennials to Garden Hardware such as peony rings. I am very thankful to have them in my neighbourhood.

Nice small nursery. Friendly staff that knows what they're doing without making you feel stupid. They respond to inquiries personally, not with a canned out-of-date automatically generated response. I will return and definitely recommend this nursery.

Would never go there again! Took 2 trips to pick up a pre paid tree. No organozation, slow service, and they lied to me and a client. Plus who wants to buy anything that’s stored beside an oil refinery! Worst experience ever

We booked a visit one week prior. Linda let other people in, before the actual booking/opening time, and told the two of us to wait outside the gates even though we were actually checking in at the right time (and not before the opening time like the other she let in). She did not apologize for the inconvenience and unwillingness to honour the appointment time. Regretfully, for the next hour most of what we’ve experienced was a condescending and rude service by two of the more “experienced” staff members. This is not first time these two ladies mistreat me and my guests when Mary is not around, unfortunately. Unsure if Green Thumb should even open when Mary - the owner - is not around.

This is the cutest little garden shop, still had a decent variety of vegetables when I went about a week ago! Woman who was working was really helpful in helping me find what I needed and even gave me a little discount because the plants weren’t as nice looking as when they came in. Thank you, my garden is loving it’s new additions! Now a year later and we had a great harvest of Okra and the chives have returned in full force! Thank you Green Thumb!!!

Excellent Garden Centre with knowledgeable and dedicated owner and staff. They really want people to enjoy gardening and offer advice with the purchases to ensure the best experience. Yes, you need to make an appointment, and that's a very reasonable route to go these days. Beats standing in line for hours waiting to get into the big box store and find out they don't have what you want. For a great garden, you need a great garden centre. They're it :)
