Yesterday I called to see if they were open due to the COVID-19.They offered curbside pick up which was great. The pansies are absolutely beautiful and the girl helping me on the phone was wonderful. I've always been a customer as the people working there are wonderful, and the flowers and plants are always great. The price was the same as before, no price gouging here!!

I used to work in a greenhouse many years ago. Kingsway is one of the busiest and successful greenhouses around. The selection, quality and abundance is all there. Year after year it ceases to amaze me. It is my favouite place and I think always will be. Great place for general landscaping too. Very colourful!

What a great little gem of a place. Knowledgeable, happy people work here, they have a great variety of fruits, veggies and a wide assortment of other plants. It’s a great one stop shop. Next year we will definitely be returning here for even more. Being new gardeners it was a little overwhelming to begin with but the employees here listened to our needs, figured out what would be best in our garden and steered us in the right direction.

I visit once or twice a month, i enjoy walking inside the green house and looking at the beautiful plants! Today i went in just to walk around when a lady approached my she advised of the beautiful bouquets of mums were to be disposed for the seasons. She was so patient with me as i adopted plant after plant and spent hours there! Even when i brought and told others of the beautiful flowers. She showed such patience and has the charisma of someone who absolutely loved her job and the people who come and go!

These people are the salt of the earth! Above and beyond caring and supportive service. I was dropped off yesterday by my husband. It was pouring rain. I was to text him when I was done. He left and my phone battery died. I was stranded. I asked the girl on cash if she could help. Her name is Laura. She immediately helped by finding a charger. First one did not work. She found a second one. This did not work. She asked her manager who found one and it did not work. The owner and his son pulled up in their new van and offered to wirelessly charge my phone. That did not work. I was so embarassed and felt most awkward. They drove home, picked up a charger and brought it back. It worked. This was my third time there as a customer. They did not know me. It is the best customer service I have ever received. A+++

During the pandemic it seemed like an impossible task to plan my rose garden however the staff (Holly) was truly excellent, patient and caring to help me select my roses and colour palette over the phone. Typically a good selection of plants, especially flowering trees and some unique annuals. Greenhouses are having a difficult time keeping up this year (understandable) so the selection was not as diverse as it usually is. Everything I purchased is doing well, which is always a great feeling! The Townline Rd. Entrance is blocked off right now, you have to enter via King St. - I personally had no idea that this was even there.

Moving to the Courtice area last summer has made it challenging to choose a new garden centre, as there are so many options. I’ve attended all of the ones surrounding the area. I am genuine when I say that Kingsway goes above and beyond the rest. During COVID, they have distancing measures in place through the interior and exterior spaces (this is appreciated—thank you!!), they move through the checkout lines quickly and efficiently, they have loads of staff on busier days to answer questions or grab something you’re looking for, and amazing staff to help load your stuff up when you can’t push the cart. Thank you Kingsway for making the experience of finding a new garden centre a pleasurable one this summer.

Great greenhouse. Helpful staff. You can place special orders for certain plants. The owners are good honest people. They sell good quality products. They also have a flower shop now called College Park Flowers which used to be a separate business but is now all in one place. The flower shop has beautiful flowers which usually last quite well.

I was there the first week of May and the place was just full of plants. Everything you can think of. They even made sure to advise that not to plant anything for at least another couple of weeks because of the frost warnings are still in the air. I was even told to save my receipt if something happened to my plant and a very nicely took the tag and put it on the receipt to show which plant it was. Very helpful and respectful.

Great selection of gardening needs and plants. Prices can be expensive, but the quality is worth it. Helpful and knowledgeable staff if they've worked at the location for some time. Purchased are usually guaranteed when purchased for the season as long as you retain your receipt and have followed proper planting directions for your plants (annuals). Perennials are guaranteed for 1 year again with your receipt and have planted and maintained according to growing directions.

Not very impressed with my visit here today. The whole shopping experience at a nursery is variety and that's what they were really short on. I've always loved shopping here so I was very disappointed. There were no impatience, dracenas, marigolds, flowering trailers for doing my own pots, etc. And I found their stuff really pricey.

So, I bought a pear tree 3 summers ago that was supposed to give me 5 different varieties. The first year I had 3 parts of the tree blossomed and I got fruit. I called and was told to give it a year. It’s now the 4th summer no, actually the 3rd summer and there’s no change. I have even less than the 2 previous years only 2 varieties. Two thirds of the tree looks like a beautiful lush ficus. Their advice to wait for the following year did nothing. I called today and was told it should self pollinate as if that’s a discovery, added to that my neighbour has a huge pear tree that should help as well.. The woman today was rude enough to ask me what I expect her to do about it in a tone that indicate she didn’t care, it was now a me problem. She actually suggested I buy another pear tree . How about making good suggestions for me to try? Different fertilizer or something. Well, I will find other nurseries to spend my money. I don’t need a bad product and a nasty attitude from the employees you expect to help you

Greenhouse owned & operated by Seventh Day Adventists. Staff are nice & knowledgeable. We have bought most of our perennials there over the year's & they have a return policy within the same year you buy from them if something doesn't grow along with your bill of sale.
