A good alternative that's close to home with similar prices and quality of materials. I had to find my own shovel and load my own stuff the last 2 times I went there though but that's not really a bad thing.

First person I talked to told me they had what I was looking for just not the process on how to get it. Took me a little while driving back and forth and waiting in line to figure out the right place to go. Would have been a little easier if the complete process was explained, but in the end I got what I needed for a good price.

Ordered a delivery of 2 tons of topsoil from Kamstra. First and last time. Never again. The delivery driver was so miserable. He caused damage to my front yard. Reversed the truck on to the grass. Dumped half top soil onto my driveway. When I called to voice my concern, they asked me to email them the pictures of damage and they will pass it on to the owner. Nothing back from them. Poor customer service. Try calling them, you will be lucky if they answer after half a dozen tries.

Sad when a manager can't make a good customer satisfaction decision. I bought 1/2 yard of river Rock for $65.00 & unloaded it & was back within 2 hours for another 1/2 yard for and additional $65.00. The manager would not consider giving me the one yard rate of $116.00 VS $130.00 WOW. She said "if I had a Nickle for every time I was asked that" and she also said it was the cost of the piece of paper (invoice) & them having to fill thier bucket again. Unbelievable to me how a manager couldn't do the right and fair thing and charge the one yard rate when this all took place within a few hours I also let her know my truck could only accommodate a 1/2 yard at a time... I know rules are rules but I also know they can and should be broken at times...

HUGE shout out to Kamstra and their amazing staff. This isn't related to landscaping but I broke down outside of their shop and had no one to come help me. I couldn't push my car by myself to the side of the road. I called them in desperation and someone came within 2 minutes and helped me push my car into the shoulder so I was safe as I waited for someone to come help. This just shows what kind of people they are. Thanks, again, so very much. It was greatly appreciated. If I ever need landscaping I won't hesitate to come to you guys.

This place has a good selection of plants and landscaping materials. Where I find them particularly good is delivery - I've used them several times for reasonable quantities of material like 20 yards of screened topsoil or gravel. Their prices are good and the driver will dump material exactly where you want it. I've even had them do same day delivery, call in by phone with a credit card and a couple of hours later their truck turns up with material.

I don’t know who makes these 5 star reviews but I’m honestly shocked after the service I’ve received. If I could rate them a 0 then I would, but they wouldn’t even deserve that. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! We purchased 5 yards of pea gravel, set up landscapers and everything to redo our backyard. They show up at 12pm and sent us 7 yards of Dirt. Yes DIRT. We called them and told them and they said they’ll send the pea gravel immediately. I call around 3 and ask what’s going on and they said they weren’t planning on sending anyone until after 4pm. I told them we have another company sitting here waiting to complete the job and they said they’ll come now. They show up at 3:50 with the gravel and a huge loader to pick up the dirt they left at 12. My entire driveway is completely scratched up from the loader and now I have to pay for someone to come and do my driveway, I also have to pay for another day for these landscapers to complete the job. When I called and talked to the woman about it she said it’s “not their fault and not fair that they should have to do anything for it” I was so surprised by the customer service. She said she’d call me back and never did. No apology nothing. Buyer please beware. Our job is now going to cost us double to fix everything that they did. I’ll never never never EVER order from here again

I called Kamstra yesterday and had great service over the phone. I ordered mulch and was delivered within the hour and cheaper than any competitors. Then Brooklyn came to drop off the mulch. What an amazing smile :) she was sooo nice and witty. She showed a lot of respect for my property. Truly a great experience. Thank you Brooklyn and the Kamstra team.

Ordered 10 yards of triple mix, got 10 yards of top dressing. The top dressing was filled with nickel size stones and chocked my grass off as it was sandy. Brought them a pale of the soil they sold me to confirm that it was top dressing and not triple mix. They confirmed it was top dressing. They promised to send someone over to assess the situation but no one showed up as my bucket was not returned. They told me that both soil mixes work the same and are very similar. But if that is the case why are they marketed differently? The first time I ordered from them they delivered soil with asphalt in it as the truck was not cleaned from another job. My neighbor and I spent the whole summer picking it out of our lawns. Should have learned from the first experience but gave them another chance by ordering several times before this incident. Their professional advice was to buy their grass seeds to over seed to bring the lawn back. They should have offered it for free to help remedy the situation. The aftersales service sucks, especially for an error they made.

Rather than focusing on our enquiries about the potential sale and transportation logistics of yards of mulch and yards of soil, a cashier decided to showcase her ability to identify the difference between a SUV and a truck. Haul the 'L' on that lost transaction, Sunshine. The centre might be on a main road but the attitude of the personnel makes it very easy to vote with our feet.

Has nothing to do with the quality of their service but rather the quality of their product. Have been vegetable gardening for close to 20 years and this year ordered about 20-30 yards of their premium triple mix to use in multiple raised garden beds. The quality of plants is atrocious and that is with much loving care. Problem is they are providing mix with a poor nutrient content; depleted. Was hoping for better. Use them for flower beds and other needs but not for vegetable gardening.
