(Best grass seed you can buy in Niagara) Stokes has it all - the best tomatoes you'll ever taste straight from your own garden. It's nice to have a family run business that has been in the community for so many years - I personally enjoy supporting local businesses and Stokes makes it easy with great prices on their amazing selection of different varieties of seed and accessories for my garden. Another great season thanks to Stokes Seeds!

Stokes seeds is a fantastic work environment, Very knowledgable staff. everyone is supportive of one another and the supervisor on the afternoon shift Is the most genuine caring type of person. She’s the bomb.com always there to support you and answer any questions you may have on your shift Very much a family oriented work environment I highly recommend working or buying your seeds from stokes as they are always on the ball with your orders and always making sure its 100% service for every single order not just the high end retailers/farmers !

I bought the seed for my garden for 3 year. It grow very beautiful garden ever. The website show all the tip how to grow all the flower and vegetable. The call center and the store location take care me so nice. I love it. I will buy the seed with them again next year.

Stokes Seeds is no longer about the home gardener. They really are focused now on large scale farming. As a home gardener, I've had major problems with my orders with my orders for the past two years. They no longer send out their full catalog in November; now home gardeners just get an abbreviated "Growers Guide" which just highlights a few varieties of each plant. They closed their amazing public Trial Gardens in St. Catharines. They have also closed their store, ostensibly due to COVID, but I get the sense that this will also be permanent. If you are buying pounds of seeds for a large scale operation, Stokes is your friend. If you're a home gardener, Stokes is clearly scaling back it's services to you; look elsewhere for better service.

I was disappointed this year with high shipping prices and stingy quantities of seed, just 10-20 seeds in some packets.

If I could give no stars I would! I have been a Stokes customer for 30 plus years with great service. But this year is just terrible! I ordered my seeds almost two months ago and received a partial order. I'm still waiting for more that they claimed was mailed 10 days ago. Poor service !
