I ordered many types of plants. They were shipped within 3 days, and arrived within 24 hours of shipment! Packing was really good, and the plants got to me in great shape. I thought the price was fair and will make more orders in the future :-)

BE AWARE! DO NOT ORDER FROM BRIAN PETERSON. I would give it less than one star if I could. I've received 8 plants from them and two of them were diseased and main trunk broken, very poor shape. When I reached out, I thanked him for sending the order promptly but requested if he could refund the two plants that were in bad shape. OMG that was the end of the world for him! Started receiving the rude treatment, and the worst customer service experience I've had in my life in 40+ years. He sent me emails after emails telling me off rudely and also cancelled any other future orders I've placed. I was shocked that someone in business could be so unreasonable and take things so personally! Brian Peterson is an extremely rude, unprofessional person who discriminates against you. This online company is an one man show. No one else you can complain to about his misdemeanor. And He doesn't have the capacity, is unable to maintain his business relationships and very unprofessional. He has bunch of fake reviews (maybe his family and friends who will lie for him) with 5 stars, don't fall for those. He'll waste your time and money. Do not buy from him. Look elsewhere!!!

I ordered a number of shrubs and we received them quickly. It is a good value for the money. The one plant was straggly upon receipt but after having lost its leaves it has come back fine. I have ordered again because of the excellent price point for the type of plants I am looking for at this time.

I am very pleased with the quality of the plants. I was worried as they were shipped by Post Office, but the they were packed well. Nice root. I bought off ebay. I will definitely order from Bambooplants again. They have a nice variety as well.

The Other View

Purchased some ornamental grass which came in great time, was a great size, and in good health. I did have a problem with the packaging. When I opened the box, a bunch of the plant's dirt had come loose inside the box and was all over the foam peanuts used to package the plant. Apparently the plastic cellophane covering the pot had opened and the potting medium had spilled out all over the box. When I lifted the plant out, it spilled a bit worse. Kind of a mess as the soil had been damp and some of the peanuts were a bit "muddy". some of it ended up on my table. Aside from having to plant immediately due to soil loss, the plant was a good size. I just hope it lives, because part of the roots were a bit exposed from the dirt loss. Maybe it was a freak thing. It was my first order, so I don't know. I would probably order again to see if shipping quality improved. But if it happened again, that would be it as I did have a bit of a mess to clean up. I was also concerned over the effect of the plant's loss of growing medium. Soooo-that's the reason for my 4 star review. I'd say it was pretty fair rating, all considered.

My first order with bambooplants.ca for "Miss Kim" lilac shrubs, and I can report that the plants arrived expertly packed, laying on their sides, in containers wrapped in plastic to hold the moisture. Atop that, was a box full of shredded paper for parcel insulation. The plant quality appears to be excellent, along with quality soil in the starter pots. One of the plants received was already blooming and so fragrant! If I had to criticize anything about the transaction, it would be the time it takes Canada Post to get a parcel cross country, but that is not in the control of bambooplants.ca. 2021 Update: Still a five Star company. If only I had more space I would order more. I should mention that when a plant in my initial order died, I was immediately credited without any hassle. So of course I placed another order, and another, and hope to clear more space for planting for spring so I can get a couple more things. I ordered several items including currant bushes, bamboo plants, cherry bushes, cotoneasters, buckthorns, and grape vines. My plants arrived well packaged and quickly. Customer service is responsive and great. I use email for my questions. I very much recommend this place. I ordered again and that order also arrived, swiftly and well packaged. I am in Ontario ordering from this Ontario company.

See UPDATE AT THE END. Well placed my order 10 days ago but after reading those negative reviews ????. I don't know if the gamble pays off? .My $210 down the drain?? hope not. Today May 17, 2021 received the plants and every thing is in good shape. I am very happy with the product and going to change the review to 5 stars. Will not hesitate to order plants again.

Great condition, fast shipping and well packaged, also unique cultivars that are hard to find in Canada. Seeing as I just received a shipment of dead plants from Costco and that Canada Post failed to meet the expedited delivery time on this order (Friday, they sat for the weekend). I was a bit weary I would be receiving some more dead plants yet again but low and behold they're in great shape. Excited to receive my second order.
