We were fortunate enough to be fit in to a break in their schedule, and Kevin and the crew were able to work around the weekend and some rain to do a fantastic job on our front yard patio. They worked around our buried drains and sprinklers, tied it into an existing rock wall beautifully and left the yard cleaner than when they arrived. Top notch!

I contacted this company a few months ago regarding making a rock wall. They said they would provide an estimate, which I waited for. I followed up with them to ask if they were still interested in the job, and I never heard back. No reply is not the new no, no matter what some businesses may think. It's unprofessional and wastes the customer's time. They need to learn they're in a customer service oriented business and poor customer service as in not replying to emails or getting back to a customer is inexcusable and leaves a customer wondering if their lack of smarts with communication is a reflection of the work they may do.

We live in a dense neighbourhood with cookie cutter homes and I needed our front porch and steps to "be different" than everybody else's. I wasn't sure what I wanted and left that to Rocks + Stones to figure out. We left for holidays and came back to a beautiful paved stone patio with steps. Kevin also created a narrow garden bed on each side of the steps that easy to plant. On warm summer evenings when we sit out on our patio having a glass of wine every one that walks by comments on our beautiful front yard. Best investment with a reliable confident contractor. Ready to fix up the backyard now!

We recently had Kevin and Ben replace the front walkway of our house. This included building some small retaining walls and a few stairs as a part of the job. From start to finish, Rocks and Stones were fantastic. We met them at a home show and saw some of their pictures of their work. The pictures were exactly what we were hoping our job to look like in the end. We had met with 3 other masons and in the end decided to go with Kevin and Ben. They communicate well and have a keen ability to read their clients so that they better understand what the client wants. They showed up on time everyday and were receptive to meeting with us during the job's progression to address issues or concerns. They cleaned up the job site every day. There were never tools or debris left around the work area. They finished the job on time and on budget. I would certainly recommend Rocks and Stones and would definitely hire them again for another job.

My rotting front porch was just replaced by ROCKS and STONES fabulous natural stone masonry, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the result. Kevin is a top notch craftsman with an excellent sense of colour balance. My new porch and steps are absolutely beautiful. I appreciated Kevin’s professionalism; when he noticed structural issues with my existing stucco he pointed them out to me and addressed them effectively. We communicated regularly throughout the project, and Kevin remembered and followed through with every detail I requested. He always kept me in the loop about next steps, and did an awesome clean up when everything was finished. Throughout the project Kevin and his partners were extremely competent and always courteous. Rocks and Stones just installed a beautiful new walkway through our garden using K2 Stone Ocean Pearl slate. Kevin and the team did an amazing, professional job laying the stonework, listening to our needs, asking for our feedback during the job, and working around all the curves in our garden beds. Because he’s skilled at both the technical and artistic aspects of the work, he can create a pathway that is safe to walk on, drains properly, and is beautiful to look at. Contacted several companies to have a firepit and Bluestone walkway installed at our home. To this day a few haven't returned my call and one quote was astronomical. First off, when we hired Kevin and the team at Rocks + Stones Masonry, we had a rough idea for an outside patio space, but only a general idea of what we wanted. Kevin took our rough ideas and ended up creating exactly what we were looking for, plus more. With a few photos as reference for our ideas, Kevin was able to create a massive, beautiful rock garden, privacy fencing, outdoor lighting, and irrigation system for the garden... as well as the patio that we originally wanted.
