I called today (Valentine’s Day) to get a last minute gift for my bf. Definitely was not expecting it to be delivered today, and we are very impressed by the plant arrangement! Super friendly service, and sooo fast! I was very impressed. Will definitely be shopping there when we’re allowed back into Nova Scotia! Thanks guys!!

I posted a negative review on their facebook page and they removed the reviews section all together the next day instead of talking to me. The place wreaked of freshly smoked weed, an employee gave me a nasty stare and no one helped me, also no masks were worn. I was excited to check it out as it was my first plant shop and I'm new to the plant world. I would of bought something but they made me really uncomfortable. If someone had of contacted me... I would of removed my review but instead they got petty and still ignored me. Never going back and will never recommend. * edit* over a bulb? It wasn't the smell that bothered me, it just added to how horrible the experience was. You aren't sorry, that's condescending and makes me even more uncomfortable.

The flowers arrived quickly and were beautifully arranged and presented My mother loved them and my sister commented on how beautiful they were after she saw them. Don't listen to people who wrote bad, inaccurate, disrespectful reviews. They are people who know little about plants and landscape care and are blaming this place for their own mistakes! This place is absolutely beautiful, prices are fair, and the people are super friendly and educated on what they do. I've known them since they were just starting out and they've really gone a long way an put so much effort into this business

Helpful staff, good gardening. Being a resident of Truro, I was looking for some ideas for deer-resistant ornamental plants. They have some options, and were very helpful about selecting. Lots and lots of plants of all types, aside from the deer-resistant, of course! Great selection overall.

Just received these flowers for Mothers Day. I am blown away by the design and quality of flowers. I receive flowers from Searle's on a regular basis, they are our go-to florist. I always look forward to see what they're going to do next. They also have a full garden center and we buy all our plants there for both inside and out. No where else to go in my opinion!

Purchased a flower arrangement for delivery to Cedarstone nursing home in Truro. Delivery flawless and as promised despite the Covid19 lockdown. Bouquet delighted Mother and lasted for weeks...Well done, Diana!!

Bought a hanging assorted plant basket. Lasted 10 days. Was fine, Watered it Sunday, went to Halifax Monday, came home and only this basket was dead. Searles placed all blame on us, offered no refund or replacement. NOTE that all other plants, containers, and badkets on same deck were from Lowlands in Great Village and remain perfect. DO NOT SHOP AT THIS GARDEN CENTER. Apparently have inferior plants and obviously have NO customer service skills.

Buyer beware. Bought a rose bush last year which didn't make it through the winter. Took it back and they said it wasn't a hardy variety and didn't really expect it to come back the next year. That someone should have told me, it was one of the owners that sold it to me. Won't be purchasing anything else from here.

Bought topsoil that turned out to be only fill and later turned into muck when wet. I called ti ask if I could return it and was told all sales are final. Shop around Fundy Compost has a far better product and can be bought at Hub Excavation on Main St.

Ordered for mothersday! Wouldn’t even give this buisness 1 star. Ordered a flower arrangement for my sister in law, spoke with two of the workers in the phone to figure out this arrangement ahead of time, they let me know ahead of time that they didn’t have the exact flowers for the exact arrangement on their website this was in terms of colours they said to me, to which I said that was fine for colours to do green, orange, yellows and whites, that wasn’t the issue. The issue was they didn’t put the value into the arrangement that they charged me. I was charged $114.94. I bought the deluxe arrangement that should have had at LEAST 18 roses by just counting in the photo, her arrangement only had 4 roses and two daisies and the rest was just greenery for filling!! NOT WORTH a deluxe $85 dollars worth of FLOWERS. When I called to say I expected money back the lady was snarky, and rude, and hung up in my ear after telling me she’d issue a refund! Hung up in my ear as I was asking how and when the refund would be issued! When I called back she was extra rude and said she was processing it as we spoke and hung up again after sarcastically and cynically saying “you have yourself a nice day” I don’t think that asking for the value of FLOWERS that I was expecting to be delivered is to much to ask, and that asking for money back is unreasonable either. Especially when spending so much money on an arrangement. I could have gotten arrangement that size for less than $30.00 here in Vancouver!!! She also tried to tell me that the greenery was more expensive when I told her the expense for floral arrangements comes from the flowers put into it NOT the filling and greenery, and that the flowers delivered were mostly just greenery and filling no flowers like what was expected and listed and discussed. I should know my mother is a florist!! This flower arrangement was nothing like what was advertised, their customer service is appalling, and they are a crooked businessthat over charges! Don’t recommend! Here’s the photos of their standard arrangement, deluxe arrangement which I was paying for and charged for, and a photo of what she got. I’ll let you decide if this flower shop is worth your buisness. Oh p.s, and to top it all off we arranged delivery for the 8th, they told me they were delivering tomorrow and delivered a day early! So all that above, and that are unorganized!
