I have to say that I am thoroughly disappointed with the results. We had contracted to have existing grass removed, replaced with additional soil and re-seeded. Although we had purchased a specific seed they were already halfway through seeding with grass before I noticed. Now we have a mixture of the grass and bee turf we wanted. Further, no additional soil was added so the lawn is now 2" lower. At our request they agree to come back but barely added a top dressing of additional soil and re-seeded. Very expensive labour at the end of it all.

Very pleased with our recent sod installation. The sod was installed very professionally with high quality sod. The site manager, Renny, communicated very well and tried hard to meet our requirements for the installation. The crew that came out made sure that any final adjustments to grading was completed before the sod went down and were in good spirits, despite the challenging damp conditions! I would very much recommend West Coast Lawn and Garden.

If I could give 6 stars, I would. This is a LONG review because there's so much to share. From the very beginning, starting from the quoting process, everything they did was well thought-out and carefully done, with great attention to detail. Mark the estimator came out to look at quoting on yard cleanup/pruning, but when I mentioned I was looking for garden redesign, he suggested bringing in their designer to make sure the efforts were coordinated. I love that they had a designer in-house, as it set up the project to be well managed in a comprehensive way. Brittany, the designer, is BRILLIANT. She listened to what we wanted, asked thoughtful questions such as what colours we like and what kind of look/feel we might be going for, and came up with a stunning, artistic design that incorporated all our goals while taking into consideration details such as what kinds of plants work best in different regions of the garden, when they will bloom, how their shapes will affect the overall look, and how the plants themselves interact with each other (i.e., planting attractors for beneficial bees/butterflies next to the veggie patch that were also edible and aesthetically pleasing). The crew was professional, fast, and thorough, the cleanest yard work I've seen anyone do. They also had knowledgeable people on staff who could share knowledge and tips about caring for the garden, how the soil behaved, etc. I feel the price was fair for the quality and value, and I highly recommend West Coast Lawns & Gardens. I can't rave about them enough! And they're all genuinely nice people, too!

Our lawn looked terrible last spring, so for the first time we hired a lawn care company. We found WCL & G to be very good and totally reliable. They visited when they said they would, they responded to any questions we had and provided advice where needed. So, this fall, I would say our lawn has never looked so good (and we have been in this home for 25 years). Most of the credit has to go to the company, but I can't resist giving myself a little credit for regular watering (all within municipal guidelines of course!). I have no hesitation in recommending this company.
