The best nursery around! Lots of plants to choose from and the staff are very knowledgeable. At Christmas time they have everything you need from a Christmas Tree to decorations. They are your one stop shop!

Last December I bought two fruit trees for my birthday. I bought a Ponderosa lemon and a cara cara orange tree. I am absolutely thrilled and overjoyed with the size and flavor of the fruits I have grown this year. I brought my trees home and replanted them into 15-in pots within a couple weeks. I put them both under a 600 watt grow light on a south facing window. By January I had multiple flowers and by February there was fruit already starting to grow. I have always had good success with the fruits and vegetables I have bought from this location and so I just wanted to show some photos of my fruits ????

As we had recently moved into a new place, my wife was looking for a house plant to brighten up the living room. She specifically requested a plant that would not require a lot of light and maintenance. I mentioned what I was in need of to Kelly and she did a great job of showing me some options and then selecting a good pot and tray to go with it. Like a majority of men, I don't buy many house plants, and it made it a lot easier having such great service in making that decision. When I brought it home, the wife was very pleased.

This small nursery is tops in my book! They’re moving, during Summer 2021, nearer to Maplewood Farm, across the freeway. I can’t recommend them enough! They have pond supplies and fairy garden ornaments, as well as everything you want from a nursery.

Quite expensive and misinformed. For example, Mexican Fan Palm is a full sun desert palm that loves heat and full sun. They had it labeled as "protect from sunlight" . There's quite a few misleading labels. Also, North Vancouver is gardening zone 8b, but they insisted that it is zone 7a. The staff aren't very friendly and not willing to help unless you chase them down. They didn't greet us at all, and actually seemed to really be watching my girlfriend closely, as if she was going to take things. Didn't feel very welcome, actually felt quite uncomfortable being there. The selection and prices aren't worth the uneasy feeling. The prices for the indoor plants are very very high. I prefer to support small businesses, but when I can get the same plants at Home Depot for a fraction of the price and a smile from an employee, if rather go there.

This is a brilliant garden centre and you'll easily find what you're looking for. However, I want to draw particular praise on the bouquets you can pick up there. They are reasonably priced, last a long time and always please my girlfriend.

What a wonderful Nursery! The staff are so friendly and incredibly informative. I asked one of the staff members regarding the best wildflowers to plant that might re seed themselves and he gave me an amazingly informative tour of all the particular plants that attract bees and butterflies that are good at spreading. Such detailed information. I was thrilled!! We had great help picking gloves for my daughters. Everything is orderly with arrows and line ups for paying. A very wonderful place to shop. I find their prices very fare as well. A wonderful Local Business!!

Dykhof has been the only place we've been going to for the past 12 years when we want success. Any other nursery we've been to has seen the plant die hard and fast more than we like. With plants from Dykhof, never a problem. The staff is knowledgeable and will always take the time to educate you for you to get the best choice for your situation. We moved to Coquitlam in 2012 and still, we go to Dykhof when we want seeds and plants.

A small independently owned nursery on the north shore, the staff were really friendly and loved my dog and welcomed him into the store. I didnt have a lot of time when i went there but the selection was ok. I like the weirder less common stuff and sadly didnt see much of it here. Prices were higher than expected but staying in business these days seems to be a feat itself and I like supporting small businesses so i didn't mind. The plants were robust and you do what you can with the space you have. I'd recommend anything from someone with enough guts to keep that last name lol and will go back in the future.????

My favourite nursery by far! I've mostly bought succulents from them but they have a great selection of outdoor and indoor plants. I had a hard time adjusting to taking care of plants in Vancouver's low light when I moved here but my oldest and longest surfing succulents are from here. Also, there's a sweet fluffy kitty so I mean what else could you ask for. Price wise I'd say it isnt the absolute cheapest I've found but theyre still good prices and for the selection I really havent found anything better!
