Unhelpful staff I was there July 9 2019 male employee about 30 actually pretended not to to see me. I then asked him about some paint and he says it’s All over there, it’s all marked. After looking for a couple minutes I gave up, sarcastically told him thanks for all the help and left. I don’t think I will shop there anymore. It’s abit the fifth time. My next door neighbor says it happens to her,all the time at that Rona.

ABSOLUTE worst, place in the quinte area to purchase anything. The staff there are the most ignorant and rude people who do not assist the customer in a professional manner. Stay away. Shop up the road at home hardware. I will be complaining about the staff as well.

It will be a long time before I return to this store because of the rudeness of cashier Heidi. It's a long story witnessed by a female manager (didn't get her name) during which Heidi, who had rung in my order at the wrong price and never did apologize for it, said to me, "I don't need your attitude". Believe me, if I had given her attitude, everyone would have known about it. Whether she was on the defensive or whether it's because she didn't like my wearing a mask, or whether she just doesn't like working there (and she shouldn't), her attitude throughout the transaction and her comments are inexcusable. There are too many competitors for me to choose to return to a place that is going to treat me as she did.

People there are very nice, but the young man that we asked for help sent us to 3 different isles and still never helped us, and then started helping someone else and we ended up having to go ask a cashier.

Each visit to my Rona, the staff have been outstanding..helpful and always always friendly and supportive. I require the use of either my cane or walker when shopping there..to save steps after they ask how could they help me..unless its busy they take the time to get my products for me..again I can't give enough praise for my Rona Trenton..I'd give 100 stars to show appreciation.

We just moved to the area, and needed a few things for the new house. We lucked out as they had some great sales! 80% off! And not useless junk! We took advantage, and stocked up on LED lights, flooring, and many other things! The staff was great too! We will ne using this store often!

Built a deck with materials purchased through Rick at the contractors desk (Not Rick W.) got me a materials list according to my plans and scheduled the delivery the same week. Went back for more materials and Rick or his colleagues made sure to help me out. Looking forward to sourcing my materials for future projects here. Oh and the yard staff are bunch of beauty's. Friendly and helpful staff! I needed a hot water tank and found they had the best deal. They don’t hold items but when I called and explained I was going to be there the following day, they wrote up an invoice for me. I went in, fast and friendly and was out of the store before I knew it. They don’t have smarthome devices, but that is ok, you don’t need to have everything. I feel if some business can focus on what they are good at... Better to specialize than diversify.

I have been to this Rona many times and all the times it is the same thing. Their website says it's in stock, I go there, nothing in stock. They never put their website up to date for quantities. In 2018 it seems to me that this is not the hardest thing to do. Throw it down and build a Home Depot.

Stuff in customer service doesn't care what you need or asking. They are looking your accent or their time if last 15-20 minutes before store close, they are keep bugging you to finish shopping and come back another time. Service quality is poor. Some of the cashiers are helpful and two stars for them.

If you're not a contractor and need a few things, don't come here, it's not going to be ready, you'll be waiting for them to put the order together (although the email says it is ready). Won't ever use Rona or any Lowe's yard again. Home Depot much better setup / process.

Poor inventory, times and times items are not in stock. Very frustrating when I'm working and needs material. And very poor customer service. They are unable to take warranty items and tell me to go through the company. I spend thousands and thousands here and don't have time to loose this way. I'm just gonna have to bring my money else where.

Didn't even know there was a Rona in Trenton as it's hidden a way a little near the highway. That being said, I like Rona and have a contractor card. I ordered some bubble wrap to pick up in store and the estimated pickup was almost a week from when I ordered and I needed it right away. I went into the store and they had none. So my only complaint is that the online ordering system is not up to pandemic standards. Otherwise the store was nicely stocked and could save you a drive to Belleville for Home Depot or Lowe's.

My suggestion is never to go to this Rona. |As a Canadian I prefer to shop in Canadian stores but some of their employees are very rude. There is a young kid working at the service desk that is rude and very unhelpful. My first confrontation with him was a couple of years a go when I asked him to borrow his measuring tape to measure something. His response was that he cannot give his tape but he can sell me one. Second time he yelled at me to put my mask over my nose. Due to my unshaven chin my mask gets pulled down when i talk. He was behind the glass and could nicely say to pull my mask up instead of yelling. Yesterday i went into the store to buy some wood. I showed him the internet price on my cellphone. He raised his voice, he pointed at his screen and said to me this is Trenton Rona price and thats all it is. The price on the internet from my phone was from Rona Trenton. I will never go to any Rona store no matter if they are Canadian stores. Sorry to say this but i am forced to go to Lowes and Home Depot where you get the best service and after the horrible Rona experience, I went to Lowes and got treated as a king.

I have always had a great experience at this store. Few times for lumber and plumbing, a few times for landscaping needs. Always helpful staff especially the lumber yard even when its raining. They most everyday items you need. I really enjoy this store.

This RONA seems to behind the other Rona’s in terms of product and prices. The prices and stock amounts never reflect the online numbers. Not only is it rare to find the product listed in the flyer on sale, you’ll also pay a much higher price for the same product under a different brand name. Head office must remember their small community Rona’s... these stores also need the support the large Rona’s have because it’s the small community Rona staff who actually spend the time, face to face, consistently having to apologize for not having in stock the product their head office advertises as available. As noted by other reviewers, some staff are clueless. However, staff are only as capable as they are trained. Give a person a nail with no hammer and expect them to build a house you’ll be very disappointed. Give them “all” the tools and training they need and they will build skyscrapers!

The lumber yard workersz are great, and are friendly. The inside crew are ok, some are really knowledgeable while others don't want to be helpful. Overall it's a good hardware store.

We've had two terrible experiences with Rona Trenton. We decided to shop there because of the close proximity to our home, big mistake! Horrible service and the staff are clueless. We first ordered counter tops from them, with installation, they called a couple of weeks later asking which counter tops we wanted??? Apparently someone dropped the ball. If that wasn't bad enough, we also purchased two boxes of backsplash tile and one had to be ordered in. We paid for both up front, and only took one home. They finally called a month later to tell us that the tiles were ready for pickup. Today we went to get them with our receipts and purchase order in hand and three different employees told us that they had no record of the transaction and that we had not paid for any more tiles. Absolutely insane! Hubby just went back to speak to the manager and get it sorted. I honestly don't know how this place stays open! DO NOT SHOP THERE, GO TO HOME DEPOT OR LOWES!

Very disappointed. I wanted to buy a piece of drywall to finish a project but cannot fit a whole sheet into my SUV so I asked if they could make a quick cut for me. The gentleman replied that they "don't really have anything to cut drywall with." When I said "an exacto knife" the guy gave me a hard time about having his guys have to cut it for me. You know what, this is exactly why I shop at Home Depot. This will be my last time here.

I live around the corner from this store and will drive to Belleville to shop or even look around Home Depot or Lowes before I would think of shopping at Rona anymore. I have left this store many many times frustrated and empty handed prior to giving up and biting the bullet and driving to Belleville. If i would need 3 of something they would have 2. If I needed 2 inch nails they would have 1.5 (examples). And the prices are always more expensive. Returning something is a joke. Why no you have to visit 2 counters and wait in 2 lines to get your money back. ( having found a cheaper priced item in Belleville )

This store is awful! Rude staff! Orders that say they are ready for pick up are not. They will cancel half of the things you ordered once you get to the store to pick them up because they are to lazy to find them. Ordered 6 items online and they only gave me 2 even though all items ordered show stock online. Waste of time. Stay away from this Rona.

Ordered flooring online with a promise to be delivered on the 15th of January then after I paid they said there was a problem and it wouldn’t be delivered to the store for pickup until the 17th. On the 17th ripped up my upstairs to lay the floor. On the 19th I called asking why I haven’t been notified my product was in and they responded with “ our warehouse is out and we have to wait till they receive more. They get more inventory at the end of February so call early March to see if we have it”. They weren’t even gonna tell us it wasn’t coming!!!!! Now my 4 year old, my pregnant wife and myself have no upstairs in our house for nearly TWO MONTHS!!!!!!!! That is unacceptable!!!!!!!!!

Parked in curbside pickup spot, phoned the number, and the person on the phone asks if I can come in the store to pickup the item. I have health issues and try to use all curbside pickup for my products. Imagine asking this question. I shop at this RONA frequently and before COVID outbreak I remember this gentleman sleeping at the customer service desk on numerous occasions! He then brings my items out and asks if I was going to load them! I said no, then he walks back into the store saying i was unreasonable! The people from the lumber yard nicely helped me out! This person should not be working in services!
