Thanks NB cycle. My friend was up from Toronto on a 2018 750 twin. Noticed an oil leak at the oil filter. We called NBC from country style on Seymour at 4 30 pm. Drove over and they not only had a new filter waiting, they replaced it, topped up the oil, checked and filled both our tires with air and we were back on the road. Charged us for the oil and filter and did the work for free. great deal and a great bunch of guys who dropped everything to get him on his way west to surgeon falls. 5 stars

We are very disappointed that your company are not flexible to help in an emergency situation. We are from Southern Ontario..we have been at our camp for 7 weeks..last Friday we had a major problem with our generator..as you service Honda products we attended today...we live off the grid & depend on our generator to run our well and camp .. this we told the service personal..he said he was booked up till the middle of July...he might be able to do something for us next week..for us this was not acceptable ...we have cancelled our family coming to visit for the long weekend..and will be going home tomorrow..we will have our generator serviced where we bought it. If it can not be repaired we will purchase a new one . We have shared todays experience with friends in North Bay & certainly will share with our other Northern buddies when we return. Pleasant staff, service people don't have needed parts in stock, stuck waiting 4+ business days every time over cheap items. Any item that is in stock is usually double the price of any southern dealership. Have helped me out by squeezing my bike in to tight time frames, but paid heavily for it.

Just picked up a new Polaris 570SP. Bought a Honda last October. Gary Dempsey and sales staff were very helpful and did not pressure me on buying extras and gave me the option of deciding what I wanted not telling me what I should have. Also there seems to be to high of a mark up on aftermarket parts ex: a aftermarket u-joint is 60$ and change when I found it at 22$ air filter near 50$ found it at 25 about 1 hr drive away I'm sorry you lost my business..

I had dealt with North Bay Cycle for over 40 years. I hadn't been in for about two years and when I recently did, I found out that Jim and Brian have sold the business to owners that know nothing about motorcycles. The only familiar face in the place is Ron in service. Completely new staff in sales and parts that don't have a clue of what they are selling. They can't even keep their web page up to date anymore. With Jim, Brian, Dave, Jodi, Dan and Chris gone there is nothing left of the bike shop I knew. Looks like I'll have to travel to Sudbury for parts and service on my Goldwing. Sorry Ron, but I won't deal with the people upstairs.

Buyer beware! friendly sales staff but horible service department. I live 300 kms away and purchased a RZR 900 S paid $250 for a winch install and $300 for the PDI, got home and had to tighten loose bolts on the winch instal, tighten loose bolts on the lower front suspension, tighten loose bolts on the ROPS and perform a front end re alignment. They delivered an un-safe and dangerous machine. I hope they enjoy the $550.00 they stole from me!

If you like broken promises, this is the place to do business with. If you like being treated like dirt, this is the place to do business with. If you like to wait for promised delivery, and not getting it as promised without even a blink of an eye, this is the place to do business with. If you expect a quote and don't get it, this is the place for you. And if you are unhappy and told you cannot speak to a manager or owner, This is the place for you. Bought equipment with promised delivery, none came. Asked again for delivery date, but still no delivery. THEY chose the dates, they failed to deliver, and when I asked for a refund, I was denied and told to come and pick up my units! Get everything in writing. Cannot give lower than a 1 star. This rating is over rated. STAY AWAY!

Terrible communication once the sale was made. My emails & calls were virtually ignored. I was told they were having a rough time with staffing transitions which is understandable, but when my salesman was “with another client” he must have had the time to begin a new sale. Very disappointed & in no way will I use them again To add to this, my sales rep contacted me after the above review to “scold me” for doing so & offered nothing to fix my distaste & when I forwarded all the ignored emails & phone call dates, not a thing to say about it. Recently the owner contacted me after posting my comments to their ads. His son got back to me to offer some “extra attention” when I may need it, so we shall see. I did accept but recommended the initial issues be corrected for others

It's really hard to get any service here. I've been in about a half dozen times, each time looking to spend some money from simple engine oil to a new motorcycle. Staff always have completely ignored that I was there, chatting to each other etc., even though no other people were in the store. I think the last visit was the last time walking in there to be treated like I was invisible. Good thing for online shopping.

They were fast and friendly easy to deal as they installing a rear windshield did an oil change and answered all questions I had around my machine. Find the new owner is stocking leas and less parts for Honda MC. Common things like fork seals. The young guy at the counter immediately offered after market parts but they didn't have those either. Tried them for tires also and even with proof of competitive prices they wouldn't budge. Wouldn't mind paying a little more to shop locally but not over $100. Was a nice day for a drive to Verner and RL Equipment. Parts were stock.

A few days ago I had two issues with my 2013 Honda Foreman ATV electric shift. I called North Bay Cycle and Sports up and they said bring it in to have it checked out. The service manager John R. looked at the two problems I had and told me they where very busy but they would get it in as soon as possible. The staff here where very knowledgable and friendly to deal with. A few days later I was called to tell me my bike was finished. The service was the best I have ever had and service staff , Honda Canada should be very proud. John R. showed me pictures of the damaged parts and the bill was very reasonable. I highly recommend North Bay Cycle & Sports for not only sales but great service . John W.

I spent a lot of money in this store bought a brand new ATV was not offered any deals not offered any extras just bought the ATV full price full financing everything. Now I expected at least I'd have good repeat customer experience and I have not, I am reluctant to even give them a three-star after going there to get parts or oil or anything and they don't seem to be helpful the parts I ordered were wrong and was charged restocking fee to return them when I could have bought them from Amazon had them delivered to my door and if they were wrong could have returned them at full price. As far as I'm concerned, Amazon wins again

Bought a $1,400 Honda snow blower. First time using I checked the oil. Horrified to find the oil very dark and thin, it just poured out of the machine when unscrewing the oil plug. It smelled like pure gas and had lots of metal in it. I took it back and the mechanic called me after his inspection to tell me the oil was fine like honey. Didn't argue just wanted it working. They ran it, used all the gas gave it back said it was fine. Never ran right since and when storing it in spring I pulled the spark plug and was shocked to see that their was no gap whatsoever on the plug.??!! Bought a new plug with correct gap ran the machine for half a season. Today the blower blew up. It was mint, stored, maintained. I wouldn't want to see anybody go through this Research service dept reviews before you buy.

Went for servicing on my bike today and winch install. I was under the impression that I had paid for the winch, confirmed with the salesman Josh on two occasions that the winch I paid for would be installed during my servicing, all was good, then boom! What was supposed to be a $300 bill turned into a $1200 bill. Turns out that there is no record of me paying for the winch and got stuck with the bill because lack of communication and organization!!! Zero apologies or help from anyone, just the cold shoulder and a few shoulder shrugs. I highly recommend getting service elsewhere!!

Here is the deal. Under the previous owners the service was poor unless they knew you. So, I rarely attended the shop in spite of owning several Honda power products. Under the current owners the staff are much nicer but... and here is where it falls off the rails. I dropped off my snowblower and was told it would take a week to get it serviced for the winter. I had a specific issue with the chute I wanted fixed in addition to the regular servicing. After 2 weeks I called. They couldnt find my snowblower right away and when they did a couple hours later I was not confident they had actually located mine as they explained that the chute problem was due to a cable adjustment. My snowblower is an HS80 there is no cable on the chute. When I picked it up they indicated they had to replace 3 shear pins... really? I would have noticed 3 busted shear pins... How and why they needed replacement I don't know but suspect upselling. Now, the final straw. The pull cord needed adjustment and was not even touched. WOW... I expected more from an actual Honda trained shop. The blower starts fine and runs fine. While i have not had excellent service at RL Equipment but it has been heads above North Bay Cycle. Just my experience... take it for what its worth.

My husband went to the store on his lunch break to inquire about purchasing two ATVs. He had paint on clothing and had limited time as he was on break. Also mention he is not white, Latino decent.... He was referred to a sales agent for the person at the door was not a sales agent. This sales agent looked him up and down and refused him service. My husband was ready to purchase big items today and was grossly disrespected. I will be letting people know not to go there this service is disgusting. Shame on you!

We picked up a new snowmobile for my wife today. Brian had scheduled the delivery for 3 PM. On arrival, we were disappointed to find her sled at the back of the building covered in snow....really? The rear pouch was open and it was wet inside. We had paid the dealer $40 to fill the tank. It wasn't, it was empty. We didnt expect a big bow on it but when you pay over for 15k for something and they set the delivery time, the least they could do is make it presentable. Guys....keep in mind, Sturgeon Falls isnt that far away. Brian, you're a very nice guy but it's your job to ensure everything is done and the product is ready to be delivered.

This dealer has very misleading pricing and has a lot of extra fees. 300$ admin fee is a joke, most dealer don't even charge over 100$, plus their freight and PDI charges are well over the average. They are out to make as much money on you as possible. Go somewhere else for a good deal.. Plus sale staff Lack knowledge on their new line of Polaris sleds/atv.

Very dishonest company. We paid deposit on 2021 Honda Pioneer to secure it, and so NBC would place order for a roof we required on bike. Was told by salesman on a Tuesday that the roof arrived and the bike was "ready to go". Drove 2 hours to pick up bike the following Friday, only to find out the roof had not been installed, and was now "cracked" and had to be sent back to Honda on "warranty". Bike was not washed either. Definitely NOT ready to go. Returned home with bike anyway, agreeing to wait for new roof, only to discover the bike we placed deposit on WAS NOT the bike I picked up. Serial numbers were different. The bike I picked up was built later in the year. Did some digging, and found out out bike with roof, that we paid for, was sold to someone else before I got there to pick up. Waited 3 weeks for replacement roof, which was promised in 2 weeks, before cancelling the roof and vowing to never deal with these dishonest people again. Their loss, we just purchased a second 2021 Pioneer, and I was given yesterday a budget to purchase 3 new generators, a new 15hp outboard, and a new 3" trash pump! And that's only for this year! If they had just been honest and said "hey, I have a chance to sell your bike, can you wait a few weeks for another?" I would have gladly agreed! It wasn't a major rush. Now, we'll never deal with this dishonest group again.
