Wish I could give 0 star. I can appreciate they had to deal with COVID, but compared to any other big box store, they really dropped the ball. 3-4 week waiting time for curbside pickup, brutal costumer service on the phone (once you finally get through) and to boot, after three weeks of waiting they simply cancelled my order. I knew I always shopped at Home Depot for a reason.

Waited half an hour for someone to cut blinds. Left them on the counter and walked out. Went to another home improvement store, found great service and lower prices. Will probably not shop here anymore. Seems their product quality and service has been going downhill over the past few years. Shame I used to love this place.

To be honest, this review took me awhile to really think about. These stars are really for the people who helped me at Lowe's. Originally Lowe's was maybe 2 stars. Staff can be hard to find, and if you come back and get someone else they tell you totally different information ????. However my most recent visit, i had great help from Dan B. He had answers for all my questions ( i was ordering alot and i mean A LOT of tile 600sqft). He helped me pick out all items required morter, grout, trowel. He even got the order together when i went and paid so i could get help to my car. I did have to come back and pick up the remaining portion of my order (thats how big my order was), Mark & Alex were there to help me today. They helped get the rest and load my car.

Ordered a snowblower on sale ($200 off regular price) via their online store, with nearest store pickup (Sarnia). I received an immediate order confirmation email with the order #. Less than 2 days later, I was notified it was available for pickup & suggested within 7 days & to bring photo ID & the credit card used during the online purchase. The store was very busy, as usual. In less than 5 minutes at the online order pickup counter, there was an employee gone to bring it up from the back room. Within 15 minutes of arriving in the store, I signed for the blower, & pulled my pickup out front & was assisted in putting the fully assembled snow blower in my truck. I had expected a blower in a box! I know Lowes assembles purchases for free, but assumed I would have had to ask & wait a week, but as I was already in Sarnia anyway, I wasn't going to worry. I WAS impressed!!! Total time on Lowes property was less than 25 minutes!!! Amazing! I will never hesitate to order online from Lowes again! BTW... I added the included oil, topped up the gas tank, plugged in the power cable & by following the start up procedure, it started after a couple of cranks of the electric starter! Just need snow.... NOT YET!!!

Ordered 4 gallons of stain on Wednesday. Was hoping to get it by the weekend in which didn't happen. Received order ready for pick up confirmation late Sunday. Terrible online curbside service. How long does it take to round up 4 gallons of stain. Pathetic. Obviously Lowe's are in need of help on having a better system in place and hire people to assist them with sales as everyone I speak dread dealing with them as if you place an order you'll need To be patient as it may take 4 to 5 days to get your order. Obviously not worried about customer service and or sales.

Then upon check out we had a young lady who could barely speak english other than the numbers. When asked a question she just pointed and smiled. Not at all what was expected.

Walked into lowes on my lunch time with my wife to buy some lvp flooring.. Met Randy who within 15 minutes had shown us various flooring, found us a sale item and also confirmed there was one skid with 38 boxes left. Told me to go up to the commercial counter and register my business and apply the 5% discount. All under an hour. Claude at the commercial counter had some communication with Randy. Between the three of us made arrangements for an early morning pick up. Now that's service!

Very terrible service, the past 4 times I have had to go there, we have had to wait over 20 minutes for help. The past 2 times we have done to see kitchen countertops on 2 seperate occasions, there is no one in the department so we press the button to wait only to get someone to come up and tell us that the Kitchen guy is on lunch, meanwhile we have been waiting 20 minutes for someone to even come talk to us. When you press the buttons, no one comes to help you. They are just absolutely horrible service. They go for smoke breaks in the middle of "helping" you making you wait even longer. Just all around horrible service and I do not think this store is going to last very much longer.

The service is okay here, depending on who you get. Some employees are fantastic, Randy in flooring is the best. The assistant manager is also a gem. Some of the young kids working here though, they will actually laugh at you when you ask them for help. I did not feel very welcome that day. Inventory control is abysmal. We tried to get a washing machine, they said they had 1 and didn't. I get that. Tried to buy a play structure slide for a 4 foot deck. Twice they said they had stock on the website, got there and they had none. This time it said they had 4, I got there and again none. Employee told me "it's on a trust based system. Head office told us there were 4 in the shipment, we just trust that there were." What is that? Additional: Just got off the phone with another employee "the inventory shown on lowes.ca isn't controlled by us. What they show the store having on hand is set by them without input from us." Real smart. I'm glad there's a Home Depot in town. Shame Lowes bought Rona out...

5 Stars simply isn't enough.... After having difficulties with ordering online on the Lowes website, i had called in and spoke with Store Manager - Eric Paquette. He had personally arranged the shipping and was able to deescalate the situation in less than 24hours. I personally haven't seen better customer service than today. Although the staff is not very knowledgeable, the store does provide a wide assortment of home improvement items. Better options here for garage/workshop storage than Home Depot has to offer. The Gladiator line is excellent, I just wish they carried the larger wall panels in stock. They always have cashiers ready as well as 2 automated check out systems. Returns are a breeze as well.

Twice in recent weeks I visit this place to leave angry. Customer service has gone from absent, to rude! I asked if they'd be willing to price match an item and they were quick to say "Only if you brought a print-out" So, I said "a print out? I'm not sure how to get one" not knowing where you get a print out... She then rudely said "you don't know how to print something out at home?" So, Lowe's policy on price matching is that if I bring any old random piece of paper I printed out at home showing a lower priced item they'll take that as gospel. Flooring guy was rude, the cashier was rude. I easily spend $5000 or more annually in home improvement products. All at Home Depot now. Conveniently located two seconds down the road!

I was in line up yesterday for the first day since the corvid virus. A young girl was in line complaining about how slow it was going. When we went in she was at paint counter. There was a few people there. The young man was busy and he has always been good serving me. She brought in a big 5 gallon container. He brings the mixed paint and she tells him she does not want that size she wants 2 gallons of paint. So he goes and mixes 2 cans of paint. Puts it on counter and she then asks how much the big one was and then how much the little ones are. Then she asks if he put colours in Little ones yet. She is not too smart. Her complaining but she is not clear on what she wants. She would be the first to complain about the young guy. I just want to say it was her.

It is a superb place where you can shop a variety of products with ease. The garden center has not been opened as it is off season. It will be opened soon depending upon the seasonal effects. Still they do have some plants. The appliances, construction materials , electrical appliances , and many others are fantastic.

Unfortunately I could not attach pictures to this post. I have completely gutted my home, a large sized property, and the majority of materials and appliances were purchased from lowes. (Ovr 3000sqft of flooring, 2 kitchens + outdoor kitchen, doors, drywall, lighting, insulation, paint.. etc etc etc... its been a long 2 years. Lowes helped me out tremendously. Yes I have spent in the neighborhood of 150k just at lowes, but during this stretch Bill (manager) as well as Ben and other staff members showed me they were willing to go above and beyond for me and always kept their word. Ofcourse I had problems with some products and some deliveries. With larger volumes, I believe it's bound to happen but that's the time you find out what type of company you're dealing with and how they stand behind their product. Lowes management did not fail me and they accomodated me through the good and bad. They immediately corrected any mistakes (even the ones from my end). For me that was the real test. That's why I still gave them a 5 star. I am satisfied with the quality of products they sold me, as well as the integrity of customer service. Obviously with that many employees you will find those who are there just to finish their shifts to get their paycheck... but for the most part it's nice to see the majority of staff have the level of lawyelty and pride in what they do... I have dealt with every single department they have. The general manager clearly leads by example and is a very humble man. Big thank you to Bill for the outstanding customer service over the last 2 years.

Overall I have been really impressed with the customer service at this Lowe's location (I usually find it difficult to get real help at the larger hardware/home improvement stores, let alone find someome). Having ordered numerous online orders recently, items have been as expected for the most part, exchanges or refunds are hassle free as well. I had a number of purchases that were quite large and heavy, having had help not only loading them, but the staff Member who brought things out, he even attached my bungee cords and secured things extremely well which was more than appreciated and not even requested. Another recent visit, I had help from Jessie who cut blinds for me; she is very knowledgeable, personable and more than friendly plus she did a great job at my needed precise measurements to the millimeter, just a really nice person who knows their job well and appears to like it too. Due to online sales and promos but more so, the customer service received has made this my number one home improvement store now. My only complaint which is minor, is website issues (which won't affect my rating for the Sarnia location). I can not add items to my cart, I first need to create and add anything I plan to purchase to a wishlist and then transfer them to my cart. Also a website issue, pricing does not always match, the item seen (and price confirmed in store as well) changes to a higher amount once in the cart for no reason...only on a few products but still an issue since I can not and will not purchase for a higher, error in pricing and opt not to buy it then. If any higher ups are viewing this and as one example, please see the "Portfolio 3-Light Brushed Nickel Bell Vanity Light" for $64.99, it reverts to the 4-Light price of $94.99 online no matter what.

Someone needs to talk to the younger employees about customer service and professionalism especially the girls working the service desk, they were too busy giggling and flirting with the stock boys to care about finding the kid who was supposed to be manning the outdoor sales desk. Twice I told them the guy wasn't in his department and each time they were unhelpful and dismissive, rather than paging the guy or a manger they told me to just go wait and keep pushing the call button. Eventually a manger did come to investigate the desk being repeatedly called and apologized profusely when she realized the kid decided to take a break without having someone take over, considering this desk is for selling high dollar items you'd think staff would be more concerned. If it wasn't for the manger being extremely apologetic and the fact I had already paid for the riding mower I would of bought the mower somewhere else, which is what I did for the lumber I needed and my new snowblower.

Rented a carpet cleaner for the first time. I was required to pay a deposit. No problem. I told the cashier this was the first time I've rented a machine like this. I returned the machine hours before I was supposed to. They failed to tell me that the bottom of the vacuum had to be cleaned. I cleaned everything else on it. The supervisor refused to give me back my deposit as a result. I will return my $300 purchase from the day before and never do business at Lowe's again for any personal or business purchases. You may have gained my deposit but you've lost so much more.

I went to Lowe's to buy new flooring. They told me take I had to pay $50 to get the measurement in my house and that I would get this money back with the flooring purchase. Also, they informed me the sq.ft would cost $2,79 for installation. So, I decide to pay for it. My place has 732sq.ft but their quote was OVER $6,000 JUST FOR INSTALLATION! I feel that I have been stolen!!! Another store that just do flooring charge me $4,980 plus tax for installation including the Vynil flooring with higher quality than the ones found at Lowe's. I'm not coming back here.

AVOID curbside ordering and pick up. We waited 3 weeks for a few boards and bolts before we received an email to say the order was ready for pick up. We waited another 15 minutes on hold on the phone while sitting in the curbside pick up spot to inform them we were there to pick up our order. We had to call on another phone to get through after 15 minutes of sitting on hold on the first call. The second call resulted in us being informed that it would take a while as the staff needed to go collect the boards. That seems to be the opposite of ready.

I ordered something online and was supposed to have it delivered. They were supposed to call me in 24 - 48 hours to set up a delivery time. A few days later, having no call, I called the store and talked to an operator who got my phone # and asked if he could put me on hold. I was on hold for 1/2 hour with them coming back on in the meantime and asking if I needed help. When I told them I was already on hold, they said, "OK, I guess I'll put you back on hold". It was like a bunch of little kids having fun on the phone. I finally hung up and called back to talk to 'appliance dept' and she said, "Oh, well, they're busy". This is now another 2 days later and I still haven't heard a thing, even though they have over $400 of my money.

April 19th, I wanted to purchase 27 cases of Vinyl flooring, they only had 21 cases and I was told go ahead and purchase, come back and pickup the other 6cases as they were scheduled to arrive on the Friday. Over a month later and still no 6 cases. The condo is mostly done and waiting on flooring that now I am being told is discontinued and we may not be able to get it. I'm speechless...over $1500 in flooring laid and the place is incomplete - now what?! and nobody at Lowe's seems to care. I am very disappointed at the lack of care and customer service that the employees have shown. Trying to call and speak to a manager is way more painful than it should be. Twice the flooring department has picked up the phone and hung it up just to make it stop ringing...calls were 5 minutes apart so it's hard to imagine it was an accident both times. And to make it worse, the customer service department can't help and have no idea when a manager will be in so they suggest I just keep trying to call back...

Their service was horrible and slow. We walked in to purchase a door, we had a big cart. Right at the entrance there were 3 employees standing in the way we asked then to move twice at which point they only slightly moved out of the way, then we were trying to manover our large cart around a bunch of carts in the the main isle, a few employees walked right past offering no help. Finally we get to the isle with doors, to find the door we need is on the top shelf. We find an employee to help and he says , you better be patient because it is going to take a long time. Overall a bad experience and I think we will be sticking to hone depot from now on.

Received an acknowledgement email and said they would be back to me within 48 hours, and they did call. Then Ron told me that they charge $40 to come out and quote my job! I have never heard of anyone charging to do a quote. Ridiculous! I told him I would take my money elsewhere. Another contractor has quoted me $1200 and I have hired him. If they are looking to expand their sales by offering installation services, they might want to re-think charging $40 to do quotes.

Went in to look at Kitchen cabinets and countertops as we purchased a house and were deciding on renovation ourselves or having them done for us. The guy in charge of that section was extremely rude and treated my wife and I badly due to the fact were were not prepared to order right there and then. I explained we needed to move in before I had exact dimensions as I would be doing the install myself as it was out first house and we wanted to do the work ourselves. It seemed like he was paid commission or something due to how bad he was trying to push us to order right on the spot. He tried telling us that the cabinets would take half a year for us to get if we didn't order today. If we placed our order today magically they would be ready for when our house closed..... Meanwhile, we checked in store and they had basically everything premade in stock, minus the one blank space he was showing us to justify his pressure sale. I had already spoke to other places and even for custom cabinets I was assured it would be a max 4 week turnaround for them to be made and delivered..... Good job, you just lost due to a single individual a sale that could have been worth $15000 or more depending on what we would have wanted. Instead we left the store and went to home depot where the associate was more than happy to go over everything with us and not try to pressure us to buy today. If I ran a business I would certainly not employ such a person. Thank you for your time.

I gotta say, I personally am not a fan of corporate stores and I prefer to support only local, however, Lowes at its core is an amazing place for all your home building and renovation projects and so much more! From kitchen appliances to outdoor patio sets, Lowes offers more than just home reno products. During summer, this is my go to fix for plants. With a big variety of soils and pots to choose from, your plants will be Happy and healthy at a price that doesn't make your bank accost unhealthy. By halfway though the summer, all their plants go on sale for absurdly low prices which has me there constantly like a grandma at bingo. Staff are relatively helpful and friendly. The announcement button that goes off across the entire store when someone needs assistance in an area is annoying yo list to, which is really my only complaint. Other than that, go to Lowes !

I bought a refrigerator online at Lowes.ca. Being in Sarnia, I called the store and was told it would be quicker to get if I ordered online. When I ordered online i was told it would be shipped from Windsor! I called Lowes Windsor and was told they don't deliver to Sarnia but they had it in stock if I wanted to pick-up. 2 hours there and 2 hours back ! My only refrigerator is busted and the new one has to be picked up in Windsor or wait 2 weeks for them in Sarnia? So I arranged to drive to Windsor tomorrow and pick it up with a rental truck! I called the Sarnia store and asked for them to pick up the old one , even though I had free pick-up and delivery, but I was told they could not do that! Very angry at the lack of customer service. I cringe every time I have to go to this store because they don't carry what I need at home depot or there is a sale that can't be beat. I ordered my entire kitchen cabinets from here a few years ago and it was one of the most stressful and rediculous situations ever. Long story short my cabinets were weeks late, were not delivered to my home, (which I payed for), I had to call numerous times to locate my cabinets (which were apparently at the store for weeks when they were supposed to be delivered directly to my home from the factory) and in the end I had to use the store rental van to deliver them my self to my house. The manager "rented" me the van at no charge after I demanded that they do so however I had to pay for the gas. I wrote the Lowe's head office a letter explaining the whole situation hoping for a discount but didn't even receive a reply. Don't ask any of the staff for help unless you want to be led on a wild goose chase because they don't have a clue. Just save your self the hassle and go to the home depot right next door if you can help it.

Ordered online and picked up in store. Ordered 6 things. It took over 24 hours for them to locate 2 of the items. Finally received an e-mail that my order was ready. Arrived there 3 hours later and they hadn't even started getting my order together. Over an hour later, they finally brought me my 6 items. 2 of the items were 2x10x12' that were both so badly cracked ( 3 feet at each end), they were useless. Had to refuse those and go select my own boards. One of the other items was the wrong colour so had to go and change it myself. Also wanted the two boards cut in half, but they no longer offer that service. Ended cutting them up myself in the parking lot with a hand saw. This was my first, and last dealings I will have with this store.

Went to Lowe's on Marcus Drive in Sudbury Ontario on July 22 or 23rd to purchase a 6' x 8' fence and a couple of 2"x4"'s. The young man who served us ( Carter Hart was his name, great young man) was VERY helpful and courteous. Fantastic service and products. Was delivered on the day specified and first thing in the morning by 2 young gentleman who were also very polite, helpful and professional. These employees made our experience with Lowe's a very pleasant and satisfied one. Keep hiring people like these, they really represent your company in a fantastic way.

Kennedy (the department manager at this location) is an absolute gem! I spoke with her about arranging shipping for a clearance item because it is sold out everywhere in Ontario. She got back to me the same day after communicating with her team and made it happen for me! She even said she’d call this week to update me when it has shipped. Poor customer service. Computer inventory says one thing and what is actually in stock is another. 3 separate trips to get one simple part for deck railing system. Told it would be in in three days and to come back then. Went back but still didn't have it but still said I stock. Next time, the one person on in store that could assist was also the only one that was certified to drive forklift on duty so had to wait 1hr before he was available. Management not sympathetic to customer delays. Time is as valuable to the customer as to the retailer. A few more staff on that have training to do specialized work might be worthwhile. When Manager had no care attitude for situation, went to Home Depot and was loaded and gone from there in 10 minutes. Should have went there first.

Dont buy appliances from Lowes as they dont provide any service if the product is defective or missing parts. They force you to go through the manufacturer which can be a nightmare. The manager and I stared at a 2 dollar wheel on a Bosch dishwasher on their floor model that was missing from my purchase of a brand new Bosch dishwasher. Interesting that the floor model was missing a wheel as well on the bottom tray which causes the tray to tilt and slam dishes when you pull the tray out. Bosch understands this and after two hours on the phone with them they agreed to send the wheel. 6 weeks later and I still have no wheel. Followed up with emails and no response. Called again and hung up after waiting on hold for 1/2 an hour. Begged Lowes for a wheel today and their policy police will not give up the 2 dollar wheel because...and I quote “We have too much trouble with Bosch when we try to get parts”. I said so you leave that part to your customers? They said again its not their policy to give out parts even if they clip on and cost next to nothing. Whatever happened to due dillegence. So I made my own policy today. I will never again shop or buy appliances from Lowes ever again. And I will never buy a Bosch product again. I may even throw my Bosch drill out, I always use my Milwaukee Fuel anyway. Bosch and Lowes lost my business for life over a plastic wheel for a dishwasher. Thats my policy and without any bend to it.

Literally the worst customer service I've ever received. Took 45 minutes just to apply for a credit card, while we were in the middle of our transaction the employee helping us just started dealing with other customers and/or standing around ignoring us without communicating anything to us. We waited about 15 minutes until finally asking what was happening and he told us the application was on hold for some reason but he didnt know why. He then finally asked for help from another worker who told him he needed to call the Lowe's customer service line. He waited another 10 minutes before doing this again without communicating anything to us. The three employees then stood around talking and continued to ignore us. It took another hour for us to actually be able to buy our appliances because there was only 1 employee caring for that section, but at least he was friendly and communicative.

Bob in lumber was Terrific!! I live 1.5 hours away and needed a specific siding Lowes carries. Bob was professional and understanding on the phone. He made sure it was in stock and was the right color I was looking for and also had to bring it down from top stock to have it ready for me "and he did". Went up the road to their main competitors. I walked around for 20 minutes in the appliance section while 5 employees stood in a circle chatting. I figured out on my own that they were out of microwaves I left. When I got to Lowes I was greeted and directed to what I was searching for. On the way a second employee obviously in his way somewhere stopped and asked if I needed help finding something which I didn't. When I got to the appliances an employee was cleaning and stopped immediately and asked if she could help. I told her what I needed and she brought me there then let me browse in peace after offering to answer questions I may have. When I went to the cash a young lady was closing to go on lunch. She saw 1 person in front of me but still called me over and served me. Thats the service they have there. Amazing!

I would give negative 5 if I could, it’s a little to convenient for you as a large company that during lockdown you don’t do returns, give me a break, if a little guy spends a good chunk of money (at least how they see it) at your store there is a fair expectation that you will do something for them in returns, or at least advocate for being able to. If you can do curb side pickup the least you could do for your customers is curb side returns. I’ll go down the road to the smaller options from now on, forget big box guys, at least at the smaller places your not just a number.

Went to Lowe's on a Thursday needing 14 pieces of trim. They only had 8 so they told me to buy all 14 and come back and pickup the other 6 because they restock every Friday. Came back 2 days later, and there was no trim so they said come back next week. So i came back the next week (pickup date on receipt) and they say it hasnt come in and it takes 2-3 weeks. Now our whole reno is 95% done waiting on the last of the trim. Obviously this business had no problem taking my money but they dont seem to care about getting me the product or customer service. Just go to home depot because they actually have the correct amount of material and understand what customer service means

Went to buy a floor nailer. All the nailers where resealed with packing tape. Against my better judgement, I choose one, got it home it didn't work and had marks on the nailer already had staples loaded. Driving 20 km back into town, talk to manager told him they put a defective nailer on the shelf he said that Bostich or Stanley doesn't allow that. I have had too many close calls with this store. I have emailed head office and the local store. With no measures taken to ensure safety. If anything they have made it worse. I suffer with severe life threatening latex allergies. I carry an epi pen. This store still continues to put up balloons. With no notice on the front doors saying balloons up. I have had anaphylaxis in the parking lot of there store. The staff don't help and don't care. When I ask for help like I did today. They throw there hands up in the air like it's no big deal. It would be like if they went around with peanut butter and smeared it around the store. If your allergic to peanut butter how would you feel about that? No mask can help allergies like this! I am done with Lowe's.

Went to purchase a patio set waited well over 30 min more like 45 min for them to tell me they could find the table. They advised me that they have one coming tomorrow and that they will put my patio set behind customer service desk so it will be ready for when im off work at 3. At noon i talk to nicole who assured me they had everything ready for me. I get to the store shortly after 3 to find out nothing is ready. I waited another 30 minutes to find out they could not fine the chairs. I got my money back and went home upset and filed a complaint with lowes head office which told me they logged the complaint and would advised the store. A couple of weeks later i tried to purchase the same set because my wife really wanted that particular set. I got to the store and asked them is everything currently in stock. Rep said yes we do. I said ok i will buy it. Waited 30 minutes again to say o sorry we cant find the chairs and he didnt know when he could get them in maybe a week but wasnt sure. I said forget it its to hard to buy anything from your store. I again filed a complaint with lowes head office who again said we will notify the store. I will never wall into that store again.

A quality store with all of your needs conveniently located. Coming from out of town, it was unfortunate one staff member was not appropriate with his answers and statements. I had called earlier asking to view some flooring. He advised it was ok to do and after driving an hour the same employee whom I had been speaking with told me I could not do what he said I could do on the phone. The comments made during the conversation were unprofessional, inappropriate, unwelcomed and unacceptable. Further customer service training needs to be completed. Other staff members were accommodating and professional. #localguides

Went to the customer service desk looking to see if a exterior door was in stock. Was told she couldn't find it as she needed an item #. Husband then went with the flyer & item #, still could not help. He was told go to the millwork desk & she would call someone to assist. Close to an hour later & still no help. Choose to leave with an item that I was going to purchase only to find out it was coming up st the regular price and not the reduced price. Left it behind and left the store. Really enjoyed the service when this store first opened but it has really gone downhill. We traveled 2 hours one way but won't be going back to this store for any future large purchases.

Curbside pickup takes about 5 days which is ridiculous. I cannot believe that after all this time Lowes still does not have an app or web portal for curbside pickup. By the amount of information that I'm required to provide over the phone for pickup, you would think I was picking up plutonium.

I received an email stating my order was ready. When brother arrived to pick up the order this morning it was NOT ready for pick up!!! In addition..I followed the specific instructions to would allow him to pick it up and they refused him. I had to call in to get it released!! I'm so disappointed with this service. I'm only giving 2 stars because I was able to grab the saw that I wanted and the saw works as it should. I had ordered a new scroll saw after having to return one previously at another store. I didn't go into the store to purchase because they offered curbside pick up and I am trying to limit my in store interactions. I placed an order June 3, thinking it may take a week or so. On June 12, I received an email saying it was taking slightly longer than expected to fill my one item order. On June 15th at 12:19AM, I received an email from my bank saying that I had been charged yet again for the item that I still hadn't received. Thinking I could get someone to deal with this issue and check on the order, I drove into town to the store with the printed out bank statement charges and my order form. The cashier at customer service informed me that I would have to call the number and wait to see why they would charge again. I then asked to have my order checked on as it has been almost 2 weeks at this point, to which she told me that there was a saw available in isle 64 that I could go and get. So, not only did I get charged twice for an item and have to deal with fixing this mess, I fulfilled my own order by grabbing it off the shelf. I run a small woodworking business (hence the need for the saw), but this experience has put a disgusting taste in my mouth about shopping at Lowes anywhere. On top of having to do someone else's job, the 2 week wait time has put me back in my own business. I recently purchased a house that needs renovating and I can guarantee that we will not be shopping there for any of our needs. Very disappointed.

Went in with material list for deck, two contractor desk employees chatting it up, directed me to guy sweeping floor to get quote. Guy brought me to different section and didn't know what he had and had problems looking for 6X6 treated wood. Said he doesn't sell 6x6'. I told him I walked by them on way into store. Once he found it on computer he told me the price, I asked him to start a quote because I have a list for this big deck....... wait for it.......he said "we don't do that". I walked away. On way out walked past same two guys who were still chatting, told them the guy they sent me too doesn't know what he's doing and I'm going to Home Depot, neither offered to assist me. I got in my truck with my trailer and drove around the corner to Home Depot. Will never go back to Lowes after that experience. Wow!!!!!

If you need help with a particular product,bring your coffee,breakfast and perhaps your lunch!I had a brochure of the product but still sent from customer service back and forth to different locations,actually 4 times!A number of the reps.were not busy,answered vaguely and acted like their shoes were glued to the floor behind the counter!It took the “f” word to finally get action.Finally,I got wonderful service(and apologies for the lousy treatment up till then)from a girl in the paint department.I wish I knew her name(Small,busy,obviously hard working,slightly darker skin)because she stood out in her skills in customer service.Wasted a good chunk of my morning in Lowes for one simple product! Lowe's was good. Had almost everything i was looking for. Honestly hard to find employees in this place... seems everyone is always on break. No worries though, i helped a customer find his speaker wire. Was hoping to find some tool sales, but maybe next time. Definitely will go back, i feel they have better stock over other leqding hardware stores. Honestly have to stop wearing construction clothes as we always get mistaken for an employee.

Very slow at the cashes and having to put the energy saving items on a separate receipt is rediculous so much better systems being used at other retails making it simpler .... As well trying to move around in store is almost impossible as theirs way too much stuff laying around not picked up ex: insulation bundles blocking path displayed appliances taking too much space not able to move well with carts .... Freindly staff for the most part and decent selection tho i do find home depot having better prices.

I am in the Middle of renovating my mother's house, $30,000 reno, NOT including appliances and supplies, first time. To date, for all drywall, screws, bathroom fans, you name it, bought at Lowes, well over $5,000. Very disappointed with how Lowes has set up their online and curbside pickup during the pandemic. No one answers the phone. Ever. And that is how one is to let them know you have arrived to pick up your order. It is chaos in the store. Employees run away if you try to ask where to go or how to get your order. I have never seen anything like it. I know businesses are struggling right now but Lowes - get your act together. Really this is the new normal for shopping for the foreseeable future so things need to be much more organized. Just unbelievable. Won't shop there again unless I have absolutely no choice.
