Their home decor selection is amazing, and if you love making stuff like I do then this place is heaven for you - they have amazing workshops and do-it-yourself spaces where you can make/create things and the friendly staff will help you. I even brought my husband in to make a succulent terrarium!

My wife brought me here to make a succulent terrarium with Jade, and at first I was skeptical but it was a lot of fun! She let us pick our our own succulent and color scheme, and gave us tips on what materials to use when building up your layers. Everything you need to build your terrarium is available at the store, but they let us bring in our own jars. We also found some great home decor items here, like metal watering cans and wall hooks. A wonderful store!

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! I got to Kate’s ones a month for their Flower Lovers course. It’s a great way to learn about flowers and go home with some amazing arrangements that I made myself! I also always come away with something else beautiful from their store. Between the candles, and nicnacks, pre arranged plants, and accessories, I always find something great! Her wedding work is extraordinary and when I get married she will be my girl. I only have great things to say about Kate and her AMAZING staff

My daughter got married this past weekend and we had Kate's Garden arrange the flowers. The bridal bouquets and the attendants bouquets were stunning. Kate arranged flowers around an arbour which were beautiful. The staff was amazing to deal with and the attention to detail was outstanding. I wish I could more than 5 stars. Kate thank you for making my daughters wedding that much more beautiful.

This is a bit late as the service Kate's Garden provided to me was earlier this summer (2018) but I still stand by how amazing they are!. John and Alex from Kate's Garden are ABSOLUTELY phenomenal. Such a knowledgeable, supportive, thorough team. Its clear they have passion and pride in their work. I asked them for their help to clean up my garden (front and back) and they did wonders. I came home to a beautiful yard now with so much potential. It's amazing how much of an impact it has on the overall look of your house. Thanks to their work, our home looks neat, inviting and so much light comes through. They were so clean, thorough and did an outstanding job. I can't wait to work with them next year for more improvements. And I love how John is very understanding of budget, makes recommendations and is honest. After our clean up, he even offered to come back to walk me through my garden and the work they did. I highly recommend this team for any garden help you need! I look forward to working with them in the coming years to bring more beauty to my garden.

Kate did an amazing job with really listening to what I wanted for my wedding. Love fresh flowers and the DIY arrangements, corsages, boutineers, my cake stand turned out more than I expected. She went above and beyond for us and I cannot thank her enough for her and her teams hard work. I will definitely come back to her in the future. I recommend for anyone looking for the best florist to go to her for anything whether it be to buy a flower arrangement for yourself, have an event or simply want to learn about gardening she holds seminars where she teaches how beautiful arrangements we love are made from scratch. I would give her 100%...would love to see her business expand one day but right now they are doing very well in the heart of Markham very close to home.

If I could give a 0 star I would. I was initially excited to work Kate's Garden for my wedding as I was recommended through a close friend of mine. However, after many email correspondences, unreturned emails and phone calls, its safe to say Kate's Garden lacks not only in communication but also in customer service. I have called multiple times in attempt to get an appointment for a simple quote, and no call back! Due to my busy schedule (9-5) its hard to coordinate any affirmative time earlier in the day! Firstly, how can I? I had receive an irksome email accusing me of showing up to my appointment much later than I did. I showed up at Kate's Garden 10 after 6pm, as my train arrived to Markham GO station (also sent an email advising of this delay) at 6:10pm!. Apparently, I had arrived closer to 7? Only to find out that the owner had their daughter's birthday party and had to leave early anyways? I understand that this is a busy time for florists. However, not returning phone calls and/or emails to coordinate an appointment with a potential customer is not only absurd, but unprofessional. If you know that your company takes longer to respond to emails or return phone calls, publish your expected turnaround time. Treating your customers respectfully should apply to all types of customers, potential, new and existing. I considered Kate's garden because of a positive word-of-mouth review,. Anyways, my expectations were not met and sadly disappointed by this experience.

Kate's Garden does Hardscape? Patio stones, steps and Pergola? Yes they do. My wife and I met John at the Homeshow last year looking for patio stone pavers/installers. John's specialty is wood working and he built our Pergola. Matt was their guy for stone work. The crew spent almost 2 weeks completing our backyard patio installation, steps and Pergola. There were a few design changes along the way and they were very accommodating and helpful with the changes. Kate has a great vision for landscape planning and helped us in that part. The price was reasonable and in the middle range of all our quotes. Overall a very clean, hardworking crew. We are happy with our landscaped, useable backyard now. Thanks Matt, John and Kate.
