Ordered a bulk bag of washed sand for my pool. Only 1 complaint. I first sent an email for a quote and it was never answered. When I finally called several days later I mentioned this to whom ever answered the phone and was told that they were too busy to reply to emails. Hummmm.... My only response.was , "maybe not have the link on your website for email quotes if your.not actually going to read emails" besides that , I had to drive to the location to place my order and pay. The lady.did say that I could pay over the phone with a credit card , however my confidence was not strong after the email conversation. My order was delivered on the day promised and was as advertised. Oh and I have no idea what I'm to do with the bulk bad when finished with it ? No instructions on the bag or receipt ..maybe you keep it ? Thank you.

Really delightful place with an amazing aesthetic including some of the best displays I've seen in Niagara. Prices vary a bit, but for the most part they're definitely fair. If you do find any shortcomings with price the excellence in service should more than appease them. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and a delight to be around. If you're looking for any landscape/garden goods this is the place to go!

My husband is putting in a brick patio. We had the crush and run delivered by Allan's and the service and product and price was great. Later I called to order paver sand, the woman said they had screening and that it was the same thing so I ordered it. When my hubby got home he told me I ordered th wrong thing. I called back to check and the woman assures me that this was what all the landscapers where using. Since, I have looked online and it seems that this "screening" or stone dust (is what I believe it to be) is NOT the same as paver sand and will not let the water drain away from the brick which will cause us problems down the road. I am very disappointed at being sold this product under what I feel was false information. My husband has been working really hard on this project and now I am worried we will be redoing it down the road due to this screening product. Due to this misunderstanding or poor customer service I regret to say that I will probably not return as a customer and will tell other to be wary of their purchases and to not rely on employee knowledge.

Fantastic. It was a pleasure to do business wth Allen's. Very helpful staff both in the yard and office. Very knowledgable and helpful. I did pay a premium for delivery to my area, but happy to so when we were treated so well. We shopped around this time, and happy we did. When we visited other landscape supply companies in "Niagara"???? We were told they are not contractors and if we didn't know what we wanted we should hire a contractor . Nice to know there are companies out there that are willing to sell to the public and willing to make your shopping experience a pleasure.
