Good value - I had edging done along a fairly long bed about 300 ft plus - I chose kai because he listened to what I wanted, suggested his ideas and with a bit of back and forth, we settled on a good solution. I was overall very happy with the job - Kai was very particular about taking my input as to how the the edging looked, whether it was straight, etc. The job was done in a professional manner and it was done well.

Thank you for doing a wonderful job with our landscaping project. We had many things done: an asphalt driveway, shrub removal, trimming/clearing, blocker and mulch on garden beds, filling of garden boxes, wooden border removal and backfilling, concrete and pavers to replace sidewalks after drain tile work, and planting of new bushes. Kai and all of the employees were polite, respectful, tidy and did a high quality job with attention to detail. Kai was patient and responsive to my needs, and offered lots of good ideas. The price was also fair. The project took longer than originally thought but was worth the wait. I love my new yard and would definitely hire this company again for my landscaping needs.

It's with great pleasure that I write this review. I'm extremely particular and would write a scathing review if warranted. It's only fair that when someone is extraordinary, a deserving review is also written. We recently needed to demo a falling apart old wooden deck, escavate, build a paving stone patio, retaining wall, large double wide stair landing, and river rock border. Our dear friend and neighbor just had a large paver patio built and it was beautiful. The quality of the work was excellent and she was very happy with the service and price. I contacted Kai and was able to reach him quickly and we setup a time for him to come have a look at the job I needed done. He had some great ideas for us and we waited for a quote. My wife and I were pleased with the price and we contacted Kai to proceed with the job. He was punctual and maintained constant communication. If for some reason he would be later than expected or the weather wasn't cooperating, he would always contact me to let me know. Any deficiencies were addressed and dealt with immediately. He was always professional, respectful and courteous. I have since referred him to my brother and a good friend of ours. I HIGHLY recommend Kai of Kai Shang Garden and Landscape. His work is flawless and excellent quality. My wife and I are thrilled with our new yard and the quality work that Kai and his entire crew have done. Paul Amenta

I hired Kai and his team to clean up the areas on both sides of my driveway and along the front of the yard at the road. The whole area was overgrown with weeds and plants/shrubs that were getting out of hand. They did a fantastic job, trimmed up all the bushes and even transplanted some to a new spot. The new bark mulch looks terrific and I've enjoyed the compliments coming from the neighbors. I would use these guys again and certainly recommend them! Casey Jones

Kai was recommended to us by our neighbour. We had a small job to remove grass from our front yard, replant several boxwood shrubs and finish our front yard with mulch. After initial meeting, the work was done quickly and exactly as planned. A box of chocolates we received from Kai at Christmas was a nice touch too. We have more landscape work coming up, which we hope Kai will be able to accommodate in his schedule in the upcoming months.
