This store has a wide variety of items useful for gardening - from tools to seeds to soil. They also have reasonably priced high quality pet food. I'm not sure whether the Benjamin Moore paint store next door is part of the Farmers Supply Store, or not, but they have a great selection for all your painting needs.

Nelson farmers supply is a store for gardeners who know what they are doing you don't find gimmicky items or fertilizers there is not a lot of flashy advertising or labels you do not need. They carry items and products that work and ones that target specific plants like potatoes, orchids, tomatoes, you also find everything electrica, plumbing, animal husbandry, livestock food and related products, pest and vermin control. Owned and operated by a long time Nelson family who know what they are doing it's the best store in the area and in a league of its own.

Pros: - some of the staff are friendly - pretty good selection Cons: - some of the staff border on rude - one of the most dangerous and inconvenient parking lots I have ever used Basically, I shop here if they have something for a considerably lower price, or if they have something that no one else in town stocks.
