The staff is friendly and cheerful. There is always someone available to give advice. They seem to know their product well. Today I went in for a specific product for a project and got great advice to buy something else (chraper) that would do the job better and faster. Nice.

Lots of home goods and unique, simpler items. Bought a nice kettle and a simple analog kitchen timer. Left the whisks thought because the two that were left broke in my hands as I picked them up. Looked nice, but had a major design flaw.

I love to support local, but sadly I will never set foot in this store again because every time I do I have to listen to your cashiers wing-nut anti-vaxx conspiracy theories. As both a local healthcare worker and someone who has lost a parent to COVID I find this behavior deeply offensive. I have previously spoken to a manager about this, and I guess they don't see it as an issue, because she's still up front, bombarding people who enter the store with her crack-pot conspiracies. Like i said, I love to shop local, but I got what I was looking for cheaper at Walmart anyways, so I won't exactly miss shopping there.

If you know exactly what you want how to do it and don't mind paying a lot more or having to go to another store to get the remaining items on your list then this is the store for you. Be sure to allow lot's of time to find parking and a lot of change for the meter as it is right down town and can be hell to get a parking space.

Hipperson Hardware is a time capsule from an era of excellent customer service. You go into Walmart, good luck finding a salesperson to help you. You walk into Hipperson's and you'll be asked, "May I help you?" with every turn.

This is the worst store for service on Baker Street. The staff in this store don't care how they treat their clientele. It's a miracle that they stay in business. If you have the opportunity, shop elsewhere. It's not worth the aggravation. I only chose one star because that's the only way I could get this message posted. If there were a minus star, I would have chosen it.

Pretty decent selection for a small downtown store. Prices are good. Most of the staff seem helpful, and look like they actually enjoy their jobs. I am only docking points for two reasons: 1) The whistling guy that works there really needs to shut up. I have avoided your store in favour of the other Home Hardware in town, so as to not have to endure your acoustic torture. 2) A downtown location can be a nuisance for parking. That's a minor thing, really.
