A new roof was a huge investment for us which brought along high expectations. Dan and his team not only delivered on those high expectations, but exceeded them. From the onset, Dan was great to work with to help us think through what we wanted and gave us a precise estimate to work from. He was flexible with timing when we needed to reschedule. Once on site, his team was amazing - kind, courteous and very hard working. They always made sure to say hello to both me and my wife and made sure the site was cleaned-up at the end of each day. They completed the job on schedule and on budget, oh and it looks awesome too! To us, Edge Roofing is not your typical contractor; they bring a very high work ethic to their client-centered approach, which totally shows in the outcome of their hard work. Communication was great the whole process and the whole crew were friendly, respectful, careful, safe, and a joy to have on our roof :) We were really pleased with the diligence around safety, as well as putting down tarps to catch the debris from the roof and then taking a magnetic roller around at the end to find any stray nails to keep the kids barefoot in the yard. I have nothing but great things to say about the experience and would recommend them unhesitatingly.

I have a Heritage house close to downtown Nelson. Over the years I have taken the time to beautifully restore & maintain this home and the roof was the icing on the cake. Dan, from Edge Roofing, gave me a cost assessment for a new roof and also made some suggestions for a colour change and gave me some examples in town to look at. My roof was not particularly easy to work on as it has a very steep pitch but the Edge crew had all the training and safety equipment to get the job done. Dan was right about the colour change too and my new roof looks fantastic. The Edge Roofing team were professional and dependable and very pleasant to deal with. The yard and clean up was impeccable. Had Edge come through to replace the metal on our Gambrel house with shingles. The crew was professional, organized and incredibly fast. My wife and I are very happy with the work. I had initially planned on helping them but quickly realized I would only get in the way. What would've taken me and a helper two months they did in 4 days. Tip: Do whatever you can to prep the job site and make sure they are in a good position to work efficiently right away - try to clear space to get building materials as close to the house as possible. Also, do a little digging to understand exactly what's going on with your roof in terms of plywood, insulation, water damage, etc. before the work starts. Even if it means removing some roofing and tarping it before they arrive - knowing the scope of work before they get there (and order materials) is key. We had one curveball but it was anticipated and they had materials on hand to deal with it right away. Well done fellas!
