I don't even know where to start with this company. First of all, if you value good Customer Service, I HIGHLY suggest shying away! We had our Hydroseed done last summer, once the grass started growing there were some bald spots, so we called to ask for a little seed to tackle those spots. We were told to wait until all 3 fertilizer applications were complete for more seed. During the 3rd fertilizer application we asked the Tech about the seed, they said a bag would be dropped off.
Fast forward to the bgn. of April when we started contacting them as we wanted to seed during the rains to reduce the water required. It took nearly 6 weeks to get an answer as to whether or not we could get more seed. The first call I was told that Steve was saving his limited supply of seed for new hydroseeds due to the lack of supply at the moment. (So once you pay, your bumped down the totem pole) I asked for her to have Steve to call me and proceeded to try and follow up weekly because no return calls were coming in. I called leaving a message that I wanted a quote one day and was promptly called back, I got hung up during that call!
I literally had to do a website inquiry to get through via e-mail to reach them.... at that point Steve (I think, who knows could have been the rude office employee) wrote me back stating how bald spots were our issue due to file notes and they weren't responsible. I agreed to pay for 2 bags but expressed that I was a bit disappointed that until this year I was never told we'd be charged! (I agreed to pay because I knew some of the spots were our fault and I wanted the grass to match!)
The response to that was that they would be no longer selling me seed due to my comment about being surprised I had to pay for all of it considering what I was told the year prior.
Also, there is no notice of when they come to fertilize, so if you're the kind of person who is a little startled when you look out your window and see random people in your yard, just be prepared.
The grass grew, yes. But if you want any customer service beyond and expect people to stand by their word.... good luck! Oh and good luck talking to Steve after you commit to the quote, it's the office staff blocker after that. I prefer to keep the small guys going that actually care about their customers. Hopefully a headache is saved for you. Search out an alternative.
