My first time at Kleijn Nursery a few weeks ago, and what a great place. I wanted to buy some Maple trees and they had a great selection. I bought two, and a few weeks later, one was not looking so good so I took it back and explained the situation to someone. He was so kind and helpful and with no questions asked replaced my tree with a new one. I felt bad taking it back and he made me feel that it was not my fault and sometimes these things happen. 5 stars for excellent customer service. I will definitely be shopping there from now on and recommending your Nursery to everyone.

I knew I was in the right place when I asked if they make their own soil or get it from somewhere else, and the owner looked almost offended at the idea! ???? Their "Dirty Dutch" topsoil is the best in town, and what an awesome selection of healthy plants. And everyone is super knowledgeable and happy to give tips and answer all your silly questions.

First of all the owners are wonderful and so helpful! They load your bags of soil into your vehicle, and your plants too! those bags are pretty heavy! Great selection, great prices and I love their gift shop! I just hope they will expand their gift shop soon!

This nursery was the best one we visited out of about 5 in the Nanaimo region. The trees were way bigger for the same price as the others, and much healthier. The owner and staff were excellent, friendly and super helpful, and we absolutely love our trees! All the other places we went, we had to track down someone to help us, and they all made us feel like they didn't have the time for us, but not this place! They helped us just as we decided what trees we wanted, and promptly served us without making us feel like we were taking up their time, brought the trees to our truck, wrapped the trees for us, told us how to put them in the ground and what to use for soil. As well, their property was a lot more safer to walk around and more organized thank all the others - not cramped, not uneven, the trees were well spaced and easy to examine and choose. Thank you very much for the excellent customer service.

Kleijn nurseries is a small family owned nursary with BIG service. The staff really know their stuff and go out of their way to offer the best service (and products!) possible.

The service is 10 out of 10, always will to help out with what works best in the different seasons. They helped me pick out the best plants when it came to my backyard so that all seasons have a little color. I won't go any where else.

Was disappointed that this nursery carries no local, native plants. When I asked the attendant if they had any, she said "why bother paying for something you can get for free" well because removing vegetation from the forest is illegal? I guess? When I mentioned that to her she said "well they don't do well in pots and they don't sell"... OK... but I am here to buy them and not put them in pots but I can easily go elsewhere from now on.

Klein Nurseries is my favourite place to purchase all my plants. Their selection of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and trees is excellent. The owners are amazing and go above and beyond to help with all your landscaping needs. There is also an amazing selection of garden ornaments and the owner's paintings on display and those for sale are wonderful. An absolute must visit just a few minutes drive outside of Nanaimo!

I searched and searched for a certain type of tree for a hedge .....with no luck. But, not only did Kleijns' have several of them, they were very healthy and at a reasonable price. The staff were also very helpful.
