The last wind storm a tree had fall on my house, so needed immediate service to remove it. The company was very respectful and understanding. They came out the next day ASAP to remove the tree and buck it up in my yard. Very thankful for the immediate response so no further damage was done to my home. The cost was very reasonable and the service very professional.

If there was a minus rating, then he would get one. We had 2 pine trees to get rid of and a few trims over hanging on our property. He never finished the job after a limb came down and cut through our brand new eaves. The job came to a halt and he charged us $4000.00 cash. He pocketed $2000.00 of it, and went to split the remainder of it to 4 of his workers. Pretty fair huh? That's not a good boss in my books!!! Plus he WAY overcharged us! I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy...

I called Nick about coming to cut some elm trees. He was here within the couple hrs that i talked to him to give me a quote. He stayed in contact with me till the day him and his guy's came which was 2 days after the quote. Very friendly guys. One even came in to look at my furnace since I was having trouble with it. We had a big job that needed to be done; multiple trees removed, twice the amount trimmed, and more. Nick came out to see the job the same day we called, two days later in the rain Nick and his crew got the job done quickly and efficiently. Nick was very easy to deal with over Facebook and on the phone and actually was the only one to respond to my message. The other company didn't even send a message saying "we're to busy" "thanks for your interest in using our business" nothing... although it showed that they had read my job request message on their Facebook messenger. Nick answered all my questions, went to my house to assess the job, called me at work while he went through the yard and gave me a quote. He was very thorough over the phone, had three guys there in less than a week and had the yard transformed within a few hours! Great customer service and very serious about getting the job done without a long wait time. Unfortunately because we never met in person there was miscommunication and it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Make the time to do an in person walk through of the proposed project before it gets done. No brainer, I know, but I have a very busy life and didn't think to make the time. My mistake. All in all a wonderful company to deal with and Nick will go above and beyond to make sure that you're happy and the job is done right.

I phoned about getting an elm tree removed. The next day I was given a quote and had the tree removed 2 days later. They were very fast and efficient, considering all the trees and branches they had to move around to get at the proper elm tree. I will be phoning them again in the future for sure.

We called Nick's Tree Service with an unusual request: our cat had been stuck 50' up an evergreen tree for hours and instead of coming down, just kept going higher. Though his team hadn't rescued a cat out of a tree before, he sent out a climber who had our small troublemaker back on solid ground within minutes. They were great to deal with.

The severe storm with winds of 120km took down a huge tree in my yard. I was in a mess!! The tree blocked the alley and also covered the back part of my yard. I approached Nick as he was helping another neighbour and he came had a look and said he would be back after he finished the other job. The guys came and did all I asked and cleaned it right up. Had three gigantic trees removed from my yard, with lots of power lines and a fence taking up room and being a general hazard for Nick and his crew I imagine. I am now loving our new, much more sunny yard. Price: Came in exactly in the range where the other quotes I received came in but this also included crane rental and bins. I will add here that we accepted the quote one day, and the crew was there the next day. WOW! Above and beyond service: Nick provided great service, they always showed up on time and the job was finished when they said it would be. Beyond this, Nick assisted us prepping the yard for the work to be done and helped set it back up before he left. His crew worked very hard to salvage our terrible fence even though we told them they could destroy it if need be. This is an added perk for sure. Honesty: Of course there is always a sales component involved in any job but our job required a little extra out of Nick's crew because our yard configuration is as difficult as it could be and Nick remained within his quote; it was nice learning that I wasn't going to be hosed because a bunch of extras popped up. Its great business. Overall, I am happy we chose Nicks Tree Service. The crew is very kind and they worked their butts off for us. It was a great transaction. If you are looking to pay someone an honest price in exchange for tree service without any surprises at the end, I recommend Nicks.

Contacted Nick in the early afternoon to remove a fairly large tree in the backyard. He came to house to view the tree within an hour and the removal was started that evening and completed by noon the next day. All parts of the tree including branches and leaves and most saw dust were swept up and taken away. The price was very fair and the service provided was exemplary.
