We had our driveway and stairs done by Bucaro in the late 2015. Out of all the people we had give use Quotes. Jimmy was the guy who was the most prepared of the bunch, you could tell he knew what he was talking about. Unlike some of the other companies. . After we meet him, there was no doubt this was the company that would do our driveway. 4 years later asphalt still looks great.Had alittle problem with our stairs and Steve got it fixed very quickly.. Update - November 26th, 2020 As soon as the water that stays in the low spot in the driveway (the main issue, right in front of the side door) it freezes as soon as the temperature drops. Hopefully no one falls and brake something. Photo added as example. Forced to write a bad review. I wish that it wasn't the case, but since they never replied to my letters (electronic and in writing) in almost 3 months, I have no option but to write my bad experience with this company and their rep., Mr. Stefano. I did my driveway with them in June (and also the neighbor that I am sharing the driveway with). Everything was going fine, until the day after they finished the job and I saw water pooling in front of my side door. After I complained to Mr. Stefano, he agreed that is a mistake and they came back in one week to do something about it. As I imagined, the way they tried to "patch" a brand new asphalt was not giving the expected results. As it can be seen in the photos, it looks like anything but not as a fresh, clean, brand new asphalt job. After the 2nd visit, I refused to pay what was left to pay (less than 30%), moment when Mr. Stefano started to act "unprofessional" and behave like we were having an argument over a pair of 2nd hand shoes at the Flea Market. He said he will sue to get the rest of the money, issue that I agreed with. Next day, he called telling me that he will send another team to spray and seal my side of the driveway and that will fix my problem. They came to do the job, but the only change was that now it was shiny also. Other than that, the same aspect. One hour after, he came to cash the rest of the amount and of course, I did not agree to pay and he started again to act "unprofessional" again, and yelling in front of my house (my wife was ready to call the Police). After all that fuzz, I went to their office and I paid in full all the amount that was left, taking in consideration that it was needed for the next step, meaning the Small Claims Court. In the same I sent a detailed email with lots of pictures and explanations, but no one replied. After one month, I send a written letter with the same information. The secretary called me the 2nd day, telling me that they will take care of it. Fast forward to today, August 27, I did not receive anything from them, either a letter, an email or a phone call from someone responsible.

Very good experience, very professional team. They were the only ones that provided me with such detailed quote (I did pave uni and backyard landscaping) and so many references from previous projects (especially 5-6 years old projects, where problems usually start to show). Great support as well for the choice of materials, Steve was very helpful sharing his knowledge. Unlike other contractors, they require you to be around when the job is done, so decisions can be taken if something unexpected comes up (and it did) and you can monitor and ask questions if needed (in fact, they encourage you to do so). The project was accomplished as planned, and well organized to have the right equipment on time (for excavation, soil, etc.). They also really paid attention to details, they did not cut corners and left the yard clean. Billing was also done as per the contract. I would highly recommend them and would not hesitate to do another project with them.

I don't often leave google reviews but I must say Bucaro was an exceptional company with excellent work ethics and worksmanship. We did a full driveway pavé. A big thanks to Steve who took care of us from start to finish and who was very courteous, took the time necessary to explain everything to us and helped us make our decisions. The team was meticulous in preparing the site after a clean excavation. They were very punctual and precise in their work. When I requested that a stone be changed during the job because it seemed lighter in color than the others, Dany (I believe is the on-site team leader) listened and had it done swiftly and with no resistance whatsoever. At every step where an opinion on taste was required, Dany explained the pros and cons of each decision and weighed on one, if asked to, according to his expertise. The results were nothing short of our expectations ! Choosing Bucaro was definitely the best choice we made :) !

Stefano, the conductor and designer of EB who made the suggestion and designing for us. The end result turned out very impressive and is just what we like. This has shown his high standard, professional knowledge and good taste on the artistic designing and the nature of materials. EB never not cut corners, they did things thorough and complete. They dug much deeper and wider than the measurement required in order to assure the refiled-foundation is solid and lasts. I like the huge step-stones they used for the connection between the drive way and the backyard, it looks so decent and strong. If Stefano had not chosen this piece, I would not have had any knowledge about this. I like their stone-work team, they are hardworking, always in perfectness-seeking mentality and very friendly as well. Until to achieve the precision in their standard, I saw they tirelessly moved or flipped 30kg-weight stones up and down for more than four times! They did not mind to carry out any extra small work which was not in the contract, but they did it anyway whenever they were in their hands-reach convenience. One of examples: they repaired the damaged concrete-surface walls on the both side of my garage door, which has saved me a great deal of time and money. I like the whole team, from excavation to asphalt paving, they got the job done quick and clean, no debris left behind. What I like them the most is they turned the labor-intensive and hard work into a joy and celebration! From job assessment to job completion, they had demonstrated their professionalism and craftsmanship (specially, the stone-work team) in a highest standard. We had the pleasure of signing the contract with Steve, whom still stops by to say hi to us when he is in our neighbourhood, 10 years later! We had a great experience with Bucaro and would deal with them again without hesitation. We needed to remove some stones in our backyard this summer to pass a wire underneath the pavé but needed a stone to be cut to fit around the wire. They are fantastic from beginning to end of the project. Due to foundation work our driveway work spanned over 18 months. Stefano came to provide the estimate explaining steps clearly and assuring us that it would all go smoothly. He drew up a very nice detailed quote so there would be no surprises. They started with the preparation of our driveway last year as we were in a muddy mess from the foundation excavation. Our foundation work was able to settle and they returned this spring / summer to complete the job. I Had my driveway and landing(steps) done last summer and was extremely satisfied and happy with the finished Product. Bucaro is a very, very organized company, who will not cut corners in order to finish a project quicker.
