My cottage had some dead areas, they came with all new equipment, knowledgeable staff! They also took a soil sample as grass doesn’t grown in certain areas possibly because of bad top soil job done by the original contractor I’m thinking. Hopefully it turns out good!

I've hydroseed both of my duplex via a landscape company that hired Pico Hydroseed last fall. When picking my contractor he told me that Pico hydroseed would come in for the touch ups after 6 week for the spots that didn't grow. After 6 week I contacted my landscape company and he spoke with Pierre and advised me that he would come in the spring since it was too late in the Fall. This Spring my landscape compagny tried to contact him with no luck. I then reach out to him. I identified my self and my adress and the first thing he ask was what's the emergency (I'm still not sure what kind of emergency can happen in a hydroseed company ?!?!) After explaining that I was the yard that he could'nt do the touch ups in the fall, Pierre advised me that it was too late, that the touch ups are only done in the summer that he hydroseeds. He also said that he wouldn't come unless my landscape company would cover the extra cost. I understand that the issue could be my landscape company since I didn't hire him directly. but being that unproffesionnal knowing that he's the one that did the job and he didn't care about the quality of his work tells a lot about a company.

I had a very bad experience with this firm. I do not believe I got what I paid for. I saw very little evidence of seed when first applied in an overseed application. What was worse was the very poor customer service I received. I asked to meet with the owner to discuss my belief that application had little or no seed. Instead of meeting with me in person I got an e mail blaming me for the fact that I got no growth. I spent a significant amount of money and got little growth. Please save your money and find someone else to hydroseed your lawn. In response to the response below. Their is no mention in your terms not to apply herbicide, only high nitrogen fertilizer. Very little herbicide was applied and nothing was applied on the bare patches where I was expecting your hydroseed to produce growth. I really dont think the herbicide interfered with the growth given I saw very little evidence of seed. The "good faith" respray was on 40% of the lawn but I paid for 100%. It also has not produce much if any grass (3 weeks old at this point), it also seems to have very little seed and it was done without consulting me. All anyone needs to know about this companies business practices is their complete unwillingness to work directly with their customers. I had concerns over the first application as I could not see evidence of seed. I asked Pierre to knock on my door so we could discuss. As I sated above he did not but rather he sent me a e mail saying that I had voided the warranty due to herbicide application and I had not watered enough (he did visit my property but never confronted me). When I called to confront the e mail he also stated that I had not waited long enough to see the results and he told me it would work. So I waited another 2 weeks which is the period of time he suggested would produce results. After the additional wait their was little evidence of growth. I then sent him an e mail indicating limited results. It was just after that e mail was sent that I noticed that a portion of my front lawn (even though I had paid for 100% of the lawn) had been resprayed (this respray is now 3 weeks old and is showing little evidence of growth). Again no communication, no working with me. Save your money don't deal with this company. I wish I had never engaged them, I feel like I threw away $1000 of my hard earned money.

Had a spring touch up due to chinch bug lawn damage from last year. Fast and friendly. Not cheap compared to seeding it yourself but you get what you pay for, not even comparable! from now on I’ll call these guys for all my lawn care needs
