Called Audubon for a load of top soil at 10h58 AM October 9th. Expecting the advertised price of $285 per load with free delivery as per the attached screen shot of their website. I was quoted $516 taxes in including delivery. When I mentioned their advertised price I was told that was no longer available even though I informed them it was still clearly advertised on their website. I was then told that a boss needed to be consulted and that I would be called back. 45 minutes I called back as I had not been called. I was told that they were waiting on there webdesigner to get back to them (not sure what the relevance was for the web person in this case), but they could offer me a load at $355 plus tax and that delivery fee wouldn't be charged. This happens to be what they updated their site to reflect in the interim. However I was made to feel that this was some sort of a deal. Needless to say I will not be supporting this business now or in the future as they do not honour the services and fees they advertise. Update: in leaving my review on the Audubon Facebook I found they are still advertising at $285 but by all evidence this is not in good faith. See screen shot. P.S. I live in Moncton's city core.

I ordered a large amount of garden soil from this place and was VERY disappointed. It was mostly clay, very little compost or peat. Test results for nitrogen and phosphorus come back low. I've had to spend hundreds of dollars more improving the soil. This, in spite of me specifically asking Audubon if it would be good for planting veggies in as is. They assured me it would be. Won't be ordering from them again.

So we ordered garden soil and mulch. We'. re not happy with either. The garden soil is rockie and hard. The mulch had a car starter in it and pieces of glass.. I will not be using them again

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. UNRELIABLE! This company was recommended to us by Cornhill Nurseries, but it was a mistake to go with the recommendation Absolutely unreliable, no respect to customers time and needs. We scheduled the gravel loads delivery a week before delivery date. On the delivery date we called and confirmed the time. But at the end it was NO SHOW. When called again to find out their answer was "they couldn't get a hold of their truck driver". As if this company one truck and one truck driver. RIDICULOUS. Do not depend on this supplier.

I received 4 yards of compost from Audubon. These items were in it. Enough to fill a wheel Barrel.The owner was supposed to come by to see the compost and never showed up. I have tried numerous times to contact him by phone and email and he has not responded.

Been dealing with Audubon satisfactorily for 4 years now without any issues. However, Summer 19' has changed dramatically as a result of equipment failures and poor or absent supervisory management. Garden Soil received was mostly clay with excessive gravel and debris. Later revealed as a result of equipment failure Loam is no longer available due to supplier difficulties... Seafood Compost contains pea gravel and uncomposted material that would suggest product shipped to market too early. Left name and phone number...no response as of yet.

I bought some marine compost, put it in my weedless garden, next thing weeds started coming faster than I could pull them out. They are more expensive than elsewhere. I will not go there again, even if I am in a rush . And I did not have the benefits I usually get with good compost.

Wasted my time. Had top soil booked but no call back to confirm if they will put soil on front lawn. I had to follow up. They said no, truck will dump in driveway only. Cancelled ordered but after a week prebooking.

Literally Everytime I purchase a discounted item the cashier neglects to ring it in at the discounted price, this happened today for the millionth time ( I never think to check if the cashier rang the item in right ) so I called to discuss what happened, spoke with Stephanie in the cash office who didn't even offer to give me the money back I was owed... Total waste of my time !!!
