5 stars for their product quality, trustworthiness, reasonable prices and ontime delivery. I rebuild my entire patio using their products. All the sales reps I have spoken to are really helpful so I wont ruin their ratings because of one person! Talking about my unpleasant experience with this one sales rep (female) who usually attends calls in the afternoon. I was doing my DIY patio project and wasnt sure about the amount of product I should get. I felt the quantity she quoted was too much for my yard and hence I called back after a few minutes to update the order. She told me, that I should not keep updating my order like this and should make up my mind. She expected me to tell her sorry for calling up again to update my order.

Make sure to pay everything in cash!!! I made the order and they said yaya we have in stock, and I paid with credit card and they cannot deliver and asked me if I am okay with different colour. I rejected and I wanted to make refund because it's not even delivered yet. But they charged me 5% off for refund without telling me ahead!!! Like really!?!?

My patio was uneven without a proper retaining wall so it was eroding. Toemar helped me identify the right products to use and gave me some ideas on how to rebuild it. Materials were delivered on the dates agreed to and in the right spots every time. I was short a few pieces at the end and it was super easy dropping by to grab some more. Enjoying my new patio, Highly recommend!

These guys are great! I ordered a yard of potato stone from them. I had gotten screwed over by another website (they took my money but neglected to mention that they don't deliver to milton). Anyways, Toemar folks took my order over the phone and the person on the phone said they'd try to get it out same day, but worst case it was going to be the following day. Just over 24 hours after my order was taken, I had 1 yard of potato stone in a bag on my driveway where i had asked them to put it. The product itself was very precisely what was needed, 1" to 3" stones with minimal colour I used in my flower beds as ground cover. Having it in a bag is nice as it keeps things tidy too. I would recommend these guys to anyone in milton looking for decorative stone.

Great friendly people to help you. I have been going there for years for garden supplies and recently I tried their bin rental service. I live very close to this place and ordered a large bin and was told that they can deliver it in about an hour. I was surprised to see the person delerving it in 15 minutes. The gentleman told me that they did not have a large bin but they will pick it up deliver another small one at no charge. I didn't needed another one and when I called them to pick it up and again it was quick service.

108 for a yard and a half cubed of top soil. Sounds good right? But when I call and tell them I have a pool to fill in that's ten feet long and four feet deep they tell me that would be enough to fill it half way, so I'm thinking that's great. I don't do a lot of yard work and certainly don't fill in a lot of pools so I'm thinking I'm good. Turns out this is barely enough to cover the bottom a few inches. Yea, the prices I'm sure are good and they certainly delivery on time, but when they sell you a product that is not what was promised.... Thumbs down.

We use about 500 yards of pea gravel per season. Decided to try this company out to see if we could develop a business relationship. Ordered three yards of pea gravel and explained to the owner himself that this was for inside a warehouse which had an industrial ramp and a 12’ wide door for access. The following day the ‘driver’ (owner’s brother) shows up and exclaimed that he couldn’t bring his truck in with the 3 yards as it would be too big/wide for the ramp. He would have to come back and do two 1.5 yard loads with a smaller truck. I was also told I would be charged an additional delivery for this service. (That we already informed them about) Driver comes back with his first load of two and asks where we want it. We ask him to back up our ramp (this is a heavy duty industrial ramp) and to dump it inside warehouse. Long story short he told us that he could not do it as there was not enough space and he wasn’t going to make “500 turns” to dump it where we needed it. He told us he would put it where he would put it or we could get our material from somewhere else. Mind you a few guys at the job overheard this and were amused as it wasn’t at all a ridiculous feat. as well as at this drivers tantrum. After dumping where he pleased he left. (We ended up manually moving the load via wheelbarrow) we call up the owner to tell him about the driver and the owner proceeds to tell us to take our business somewhere else and there would be no second delivery. That his drivers are very experienced and if they say they can’t do it they probably can’t. (The driver was apparently the owner’s brother at least middle aged) After some talking he agrees to send another driver. 10 minutes later a young driver shows up who turns out to be the owner’s son. He was respectful and he very easily backed his truck in like we originally requested from the first driver. He dumped the second load exactly where we needed it and left. He is why Toemar is even getting one star. Terribly rude drivers, owner was rude, and also charged 20-30 dollars extra for the two load delivery. As for the ‘experienced drivers’ funny how someone half the age of an ‘experienced driver’ was able to effectively and respectfully dump our material where we needed it with no problem at all. Won’t think twice about taking our business elsewhere, but hopefully this reaches people who are looking for suppliers.

Excellent customer service and delivery was on time (actually 2 days ahead of the schedule I picked). I think they have the best price within the GTA for the gravel and limestones I got from them. I wasn't able to get the driver's name but he was very courteous and placed the stuff exactly where I wanted the stones to be dropped off. Justin also assisted me to sort out my orders (I conveniently ordered and paid online through Gardenbag.ca and ordered additional stuff via phone/email for the same order) and the transaction was very smooth.

This family based company is top notch in both customer service and product quality. They have been expanding more into the decorative stone and brick business over the past few years and now have a great selection of products available. Without a doubt the best burning hardwood available in the GTA. If you're not dealing with them already, you should be!

I ordered 1 cubic yard of garden soil. They dropped the bag off in the perfect spot, I have a six-car driveway but they made sure not to drop it where cars would be parked, they took it a little further back so it doesn't obstruct anything. I really appreciated their delivery staff going that extra mile. There's lots of places that offer soil delivery but I am happy I went with this one. Competitive pricing and the soil was packaged well. Will definitely order again and hopefully check out their store when it is safe to do so. Thanks!

They assisted me in choosing a product, providing me with exact calculations (after going home to get exact measurements) for all materials required, as well as, suggesting an experienced contractor since I was a novice. I would give it zero stars if available. I purchased a bag of soil, used most of it. My yard is now destroyed by weeds. The leftover bag is full of weeds. I asked them to pick up the bag. They are charging me $150 to pick it up ( 15 minutes away). The soil cost $140 to get , so a pick up of $150 is highway robbery. Terrible product and customer service.

Hi Guys and Gals. It's about time I wrote for you. Can now do as not always computer savvy. Great staff, each and everyone. From front desk, to cutters of stone. Get to know the staff, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Loading into the trunk of a new car, very very careful they all were, each and every time. At least 20 times as this was a do it yourself project and as retired "old folks" we were taking our time. Great prices, helpful hints and checked with us each time we were there to be sure we were on track and if more information on how too was required by us. Even though we were doing it piece meal so to speak, they gave us the best pricing on the fact that they had calculated for us our needs as if buying in bulk. They wont tell you but they charge restocking fee of 25% when you return items. At the time of buying the products the lady at the counter mentioned that non-concrete items can be returned but didn't mention anything about the restocking fees. When I went to return the products, the person at the counter pointed me towards a board about return policies which was way high up and normally if you don't raise your head up you wont notice it. Also I found that the prices here are higher compared to places like Sid's Pond near Britannia and Ninth Line. Hope this feedback will be useful to somebody. Writing below comment after the owner response. Don't know how to directly respond to Owner's response. 1) There is no mention of restocking fee on the receipt. If you want I can share a photo of the receipt. 2) When I asked for price match, the person on the counter right away denied it.

Updates below: Great customer service! Prices are fair and delivered products on time as promised. No mess and very easy to deal with. 06/07/2019 I can't say enough about the staff at Toemar and their willingness to help. They have been nothing but courteous and professional. If they make a mistake they own up to it. This is a far cry from the big box stores where the staff knowledge is minimal at best especially when it comes to landscaping products. Keep up the good work!

I have been to many garden and aggregate stores throughout the GTA and I can say with 100 percent confidence that Toemar is one of the best if not the best that i have shopped at. The customer service is outstanding. The prices are below their competition. Their products are top of the line. And they are willing to help you as much as possible with any questions or concerns. Any questions you have, no matter how complex or how silly they are the employees and owners are Toemar will help you out. I find that Toemar treats their customers like family and friends. Unlike other aggregates stores who just see their customers as potential sales. Also the delivery service at Toemar is beyond exceptional. They are always on time with their deliveries and also do a great job communicating with you. If you are undertaking any DYI project at home (I have done many) and have any questions Toemar will take the time to help you.There have been times I have started my own DYI projects, paid for all my materials and have called to ask them questions. The people working at Toemar take the time to give me have step by step instructs to help me out over the phone. And they have even called me later that day to ask how the project is going ! Who does that ? Their customer service is beyond excellent !

They have good prices and products. They are getting more and more busy because of these two good things. Their customer service is also professional. However it is not as friendly as it used to be. When you ask them a question, they do explain what to do, but in a great hurry, and if you want more guidance they get impatient with you to the point of you feeling embarrassed and buying whatever they suggest with out really understanding the project fully. So bottom line...still a good garden store to go to...but I'd rather do all my research before hand before going in. Dont expect friendly hand holding if you are a newbie (which used to be the case before). I loved that time, o can understand why they have to rush you now...its more business they have to handle and sorry no time for guiding you...

Based on reviews and recommendations I went to Toemar to purchase bulk soil. I purchased 9 yards of top soil and 5 yards of over-seeding soil. I was told many times that this was good for my lawn and had no weed seeds. Two weeks later after I nuked my lawn and used Toemar's soil my entire lawn is full of new weeds. I did everything by the book, waited several weeks until my lawn was fully dead and no new growth before seeding. The delivery and drop off was pleasant however very disappointed with the soil that I got. Would not recommend their soil.

For the most part they were friendly at the beginning with us but when I tried to exchange a product that they delivered in error, I could not believe the resistance they gave me considering I just spent 7000 in the last 2 months and most likely would have at least spend another 5000 this month. They argued over 4 bags of widespread mortor! Just wanted the color that I ordered not a refund. I could go on about my experience but to sum it up they will be friendly to make a sale but good luck exchanging or returning.
