We feel very lucky that we found Simon and his crew. They constructed 2 walkways in our front garden and redid our porch with stone in late Sept. 2018. Simon communicated with us immediately by phone, text and email and stayed in touch all the way through the job. When he said he would be there, he was there. Simon gave us an estimate of the cost of the stones separate from the labour and we paid the building supplier directly for the stones, and paid Simon for the labour. We feel we got a reasonable quote, and the job was done quickly and professionally. When we had a concern about an element of the porch, he worked to come up with a way to please us and solve the issue. He wanted us to be happy and made recommendations that would save us money. Because he is easy to get along with, and listens, we plan to hire him and his crew to do work for us later on in the backyard. Give Simon a shout as he is dependable and does great work.

Our experience with Simon and his team was truly amazing. We decided to contact them for a backyard renovation project, and they came on the same day to take measures and talk about what could be done. On the SAME day he already sent us an itemized quote, along with a few choice of vendor for materials! The job had to be delayed twice because of the pandemic, and he was nothing but understanding and helpful. Once they actually started, it took exactly 3 days to dig, level the ground, put the stones and finish everything. We chose a very heavy stone unknowingly, and they handled it without any issues whatsoever! We've been enjoying our backyard in the past week more than we did for the entire last year; we can't recommend him enough (and I'm already doing so for a few friends)! Thank you so much!!

Simon is really amazing to deal with. Any questions that you have regarding your project, he answers them in detail. Also everything is up front in terms of the costs and how much it will end up costing you. There is no guesswork involved and going over-budget. The original estimate is very detailed and breaks all of the costs down into the specific materials and labour costs. He also provides you with different suppliers where you can buy materials from at a discounted rate. If someone is getting interlocking done on their property, it will definitely be worth their time to get an estimate from MVR.

We called Simon and his team to replace our old patterned concrete driveway and sidewalk. They removed all of the old heavy cracked patterned concrete and worked efficiently to give us a beautiful driveway and sidewalk with interlocking paving stone. He quickly noticed that the old patterned concrete job had not had a proper base. He cared enough about his work to ensure that our new driveway would have a proper base and went to the additional work of laying a new base. My neighbours liked the work so much that both of our immediate next door neighbours ended up hiring him and his team to do work on their properties.

Simon and the crew from MVR Landscaping were selected after interviewing a few contractors for a small-to-midsize repair job on our existing interlocking driveway. The driveway had only been installed 6 years ago by a different contractor, but we had unresolved issues. Simon promptly took the call and was attentive to the details of what I was looking to address. His crew got started within days of giving him the go, and finished the job in under 3 days. We were very pleased with the process and the result --- Simon and the crew were very meticulous in removing, releveling, and sanding-sealing my original interlocking investment and returning it to an "as good as new" state. We initially hired Simon to fix our old interlocking in front yard, but when we realized how easy it is to talk to him and how ready he was to do the job we ended up hiring him to do full remodeling of our back and front yard. He did great job! Since we paid per hour he brought few extra people so that they finish everything faster, so we stayed within the budget!.Since we are in Toronto we had problems with garbage bin parking, but he stepped forward and found a solution for us - removed trash himself in his truck. Needed work done in the front and side of the house and after phoning a few places, MVR was the only one who responded and came out promptly to discuss options and to give me a quote. Simon and his crew then came out about a month later to start the work. Demolition and digging (the prep work!) was basically done in one day. The next day was filled in with gravel and prepared the foundation for the laying of the stones. By the end of the 3rd day, it was all done! All the while Simon kept in touch via text and email and him and his crew were exemplary in their work, very professional, friendly and communicated well. While working, there was a lot of dirt but everything was cleaned up to the point that you didn't even know they were there to begin with. I would absolutely highly recommend them for any work you may need! I don't deal directly with many contractors and everyone has heard of horror stories, but Simon and his crew put your faith back in contractors. And do a phenomenal job to boot! I would definitely contact them again if I need anything else done. Thank you guys for your wonderful work!

The project took almost 2 weeks to complete from start to finish and involved many complications but Simon was great in keeping us posted on the situation. After finding zero drainage material under the existing patio, even though it added far more work than expected, he ensured that the job was done correctly, but the result was amazing! His team finished off the stonework beautifully, and I love my new garden patio and turf. The wife really wanted to do patio stones so we went with MVR Landscaping. We were free to choose any style of brick He helped recommend the amount of material. When I found about Simon landscaping company I was after a terrible experience with another contractor. Simon was happy to help me to continue the job from the point where I was stuck. Not many contractors are willing to finish and rectify others work. Simon answered to all my questions regarding the job, sometimes I found emails sent by him at 5 or 6 AM.
