I order 4 yards of mulch every year here and the price is great. They have been perfect to deliver on the day i desire and they are very careful when dumping my mulch onto my tarp I place on the driveway.

I passed by this building everyday and never realize what they sell until my next door neighbour told me about it. Bought a huge bag of fertilizer for $30 something. Next door neighbors grass was proof their great fertilizer quality. Highly recommended.

Seen this place every time I drove down Mavis. When it was time to sod my side yard, I thought of them first. Very fast delivery and straight forward business. The sod was a healthy deep green. Delivery guy was quick even though he unloaded it by hand. I also got some top soil to go with the sod. Great dealing with these guys! Thanks!

Asked for 8 yards of 3/4 crushed concrete ,and received crush concrete mixed with Dirt,not proper for packing,asked them what can we do about it,they said nothing,said everyone was happy with that product,wont use them again ,slime company!

To add to that, others were either not taking orders or delivering in a few weeks time due to covid but MGS offered to deliver either later the same day or the next day.

I never really write reviews but for the mistreatment I received... Horrible! This company needs to review the staff they hire. If you take the time to read through the reviews, they all have one message. The staff are disrespectful and insulting for the "customer service" they provide. To whoever actually reads this review, do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere. I can guarantee you that you'll be better off than having these rude and nasty people curse at you.

I cant speak for everyone but I been going to Mavis Garden Supplies for over a year now and I have had nothing but the best experience there. Everyone needs to have patience during this time as small businesses are running on low staff because they are the most affected during this pandemic trying to keep up with quality service with little to no extra help. MGS as a family owned business from what I can tell going there so much is trying to do quick service to keep everyone happy. I have been there in different times of the day and it is always busy and especially during these times.Some people don't respect the rules of physical distancing and lining up, which causes more stress on the owners who have been grateful enough to open to the public and not just contractors. I have seen it first hand how stressful and hard it is to tell adults how to social distance while trying to service everyone in a timely manner it takes PATIENCE! The prices are fair and the quality of the product from sands to soils from mulch to stones is incredible and I have recommended this place to my family members, which have had positive experience and service at MGS. If you are looking at doing landscaping or garden work during these slow times to keep busy - do yourself a favour go to MGS, you will not regret it! Thank You MGS For quality service and products.

Rude employees and management no better we arrived 5 mins before the posted closed time and was told cannot be help they are closed. We drove a long way to get to this place. Emailed the company and was told by them to find another dealer as their employees will never close early. So I'm guessing I was lying. What ever happened to customer always right?

This is how they delivered the soil today. Damaged the city's grass and covered up the storm sewer. All while I was standing there trying to direct their delivery guy. He fully ignored me and just dumped it where he pleased. Then "Jason" started calling and threatening me. He continued to text me insulting threatening texts throughout the day. Pathetic. Never experienced anything like this in my ten years in construction. DO NOT PURCHASE HERE!!!

The worst customer service I've ever encountered. I walked into the store. Waited as another customer paid. The employee says "what do you want" I say "how are you doing " He ignores more. I say "looking for some soil for cannabis" He says we only have triple mix I reply okay what's the pH level in the soil He says I don't know and walks away He comes back and I said can you ask someone He says no. Then he says get out of here you pot smoker. Walks around the counter opens the door and tries to kick me out. Repeating bye , bye , bye . Get out , bye . I confront him as to his professionalism and say he's rude . He calls me names. His female associate come over and then starts to be rude swell . Says they've been in business 30 years and. O one has ever asked this question. Stay away from this place . Poor customer service and knowledge!

I am deeply appalled at the blatant rudeness and disrespect I experienced as a paying customer. I called and requested to speak to the manager to follow up on a bin pick up and the female who answered the phone immediately yelled at me saying that "her drivers were busy and she didn't have time to talk to me". I was extremely nice to this employee, having worked in customer service myself for 25+ years I understand the challenges faced. I asked her why she was speaking to me in such a manner and she told me "she could talk however she pleased". I then requested to speak to the owner and was promptly hung up on. When I attempted to call back she proceeded to yell profanities. No person ever deserves to be treated in such a manner. I will be reporting this business. The manner in which this employee conducted herself to a customer is horrendous.

Great people and shop.I use them through work but if I need anything aggregate relating I will use them. Scott's turf builder grass doesn't have anything on the grass seed they sell here. I recommend Mavis for your gardening and landscape supplies!

Disgusting behaviour. I am completely baffled at the service this institution has provided me with. I have never been disrespected to this degree by any customer service personnel. I called to request a time when the drivers would come by my house and I was talked down to, yelled at and sworn at. The staff is unwilling to help and angry when they do provide any service. If I could give them zero stars I would. Just save yourself the trouble and take your business elsewhere.

I took on a DIY project, which included a 15 x 20ft concrete slab. I was uncertain about a few of the materials and quantity. MGS helped me by explaining the difference between various materials and measurements. MGS, was very helpful from my initial query, to the delivery of the materials. Special shoutout to Mary, who assisted with my orders, and the delivery guy who made sure to get the materials exactly on the tarp, on our driveway. Mary was always direct and managed my expectations. I really needed and appreciated that. My project is complete. I just wanted to say, the team I worked with at MGS is amazing. Thanks Mary.

Keeping this brief I've experienced horrible customer service from the front desk time and time again today I was disgusted by the owner's Sons yelling. Without knowing their names the ladies who are also the owners or relatives of the owners are quite respectful and polite doing business for over 10 years with this company but today I've had enough I highly recommend this dramatic man not ever yell at a customer, because being behind the counter or working for your mommy or daddy does not make you Superior to anybody else.

Wow busy place! Pulled into the parking lot and there was a line up to get into the office. I thought great this is going to take awhile. They were so quick to serve their customers and get them loaded up i was in and out in less than 15mins.Prices were great and i was even able to place a delivery for the next day! I have been calling around to local landscape supply centres and everyone else is requiring at least a week of lead time. Definitely suggesting this place for your landscaping needs.
