We recently had our backyard renovated with Green Scene Landscaping and we couldn’t be happier. We had new fencing, interlocking and new sod put down. From start to finish Eddie was so helpful and answered all our questions and concerns quickly and efficiently. Eddie and the crew did such a great job with bringing our vision to life. If you are looking for someone to build/create/improve your landscaping or deck and patio then Eddie and his team at GreenScene are the ones you need to call. They created a beautiful multi level Trex deck and stone patio for me. You could really tell that they take pride in their work. From Eddie, to his foreman Milton, to the crew, all were top notch. They were neat (tidied up continuously and at the end of each work day), hard working (pretty much 7-7 every day), skilled (straight lines and cuts, no weird angles), responsive (this is key for me, emails returned, calls and text get a response). This was a big job and at the end they even went so far as to replace the crushed stone path between my house and my neighbours house that had been tamped down by the heavy machinery. Just part of the service. Awesome! I am so pleased with the job they did from start to finish. If you need their services these guys will definitely take great care of you and your project.

What set Green Scene Landscaping apart from other contractors we considered was their pre-project planning. We were provided with a Landscaping Project Guide and Checklist to orient us to the process. Then a Client Questionnaire helped us articulate project needs, giving Eddie and his team a clear idea of the scope. We were prepared to phase the project in over several years, but the quote was so reasonable, it was completed in the first year. Although we were excited for the work to begin, we had to wait longer than expected. However, we appreciated that Green Scene is meticulous and thorough. Excellent work takes time—and good contractors are in demand. His crew worked diligently—many 12-hour days. Communication with Eddie was timely and clear; unexpected findings that arose were resolved. His mind is like a steel trap; he retains the tiniest details. We were delighted to have the Green Scene Landscaping crew work on our property.

Eddie and his team were incredible to work with on our backyard pool and landscaping project. Right from the beginning Eddie listened, provided good suggestions and quickly addressed any of our concerns. He partnered with another company (CastleRock Landscaping) that could install a pool earlier than was possible with other companies. He was extremely responsive throughout our project and was flexible on timing when we experienced delays with our fence contractor. His team even went above and beyond to quickly fix a significant issue we had with our fence. Prices were fair for the exceptional quality of work. We highly recommend Green Scene Landscaping and look forward to working with them again on future projects.

Green Scene Landscaping did my fences and planter this past summer. I have to say that I was beyond impressed with their work, their efficiency, and their professionalism. Jamie was beyond helpful, he helped me figure out the style for the planter, the gate door and the stain. He has amazing taste and is soo patient and happy! If I have any landscaping work to do in the future there is no one else I'd consider!

We were extremely fortunate to have a virtually seamless backyard renovation thanks to the knowledgeable crew at Green Scene. From start to finish, our project always felt as if it were a priority and we much appreciated their patience, promptness, and overall professionalism. We were grateful for the expertise that both Eddie and Richard consistently provided in an easy-going atmosphere. Particular note should be made about the craftsmanship of the crew who worked tirelessly on demolition, clean-up and construction of a knockout outdoor fireplace and surrounding living space with pavers. We now have an outdoor living space worth spending time in thanks to everyone at Green Scene.

I would highly recommend Green Scene Landscaping for any of your landscaping projects. They supplied us with expert crews from extending our interlock patio, to grading different levels of our yard, adding new flower beds and some gorgeous cedar privacy screens. They went above and beyond to source out the same interlock we already had so it would look seamless. The workers were all professional, knowledgable and very clean. Complete backyard transformation. From the first initial quote to the end of the project I was more than impressed with Eddie’s professionalism, courtesy and customer care. Eddie and his crew were workhorses and put in 12+ hrs a day to get the job done as efficiently and accommodating as possible. I was most impressed with the end of day clean up and condition they left the work site. I’ve dealt with messy and inconsiderate contractors in the past, Eddie and his crew aren’t one of them. We ran into quite a few challenges with the project along the way, not once did they complain or refuse to work. Any future projects I will be using Greene Scene again and I will be recommending them to my friends and family!

Our designer referred us to Greenscene and a few other Landscaping companies to compete for our project. After our initial meeting, I felt that Eddie gave us the most confidence from the get-go that he would be able to complete our project with the least disruptions given all the covid supply chain hiccups. I was not proven wrong. Eddie, Richard and team delivered more than expected to try and complete our project at every deadline that was needed even if the weather was inclement or a weekend was needed. We are so happy with our backyard now and all its new additions (deck, lighting, shed, turf). Its night and day from what we had before and finally a place to relax and to entertain. Greenscene is the premium company to use if you value constant communication and a knowledgeable, reliable, and resourceful crew. They were very extremely patient with explaining anything that was unfamiliar to me (terminology, proces' etc) Even when there is a hiccup, they made sure it was resolved to my satisfaction with no excuses. We'd highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again for another project when the time comes

The best experience I’ve ever had working with a contractor. Eddie and his team were a total pleasure to work with. Patient with us when we made changes mid project and great at making suggestions for alternatives that saved us money. Eddie went above and beyond with some bonus finishing touches. Rain or shine, work continued and was done on time and on budget. The end result has made our back yard our favourite and most well used part of our home. We’re out there from March through October. They May not have been the cheapest quote (we got 4), but their professionalism and customer refrernces sold us. You won’t go wrong with Green Scene.

In the late summer of 2017 (August), we used Green Scene Landscaping to place flagstone around a kidney shaped pool and to provide a more decorative stone to replace a patio between our house and the pool. The work took 4 full weeks to perform and we were extremely pleased with the results. Task involved removing old patio and gardens, placing flagstone on an old cement based pool decking and replacing the old patios stones with new material plus some gardening. The team was somewhat delayed in starting our job due to weather conditions but once on site they did not leave until the job was complete. The team touched base with all neighbours before starting to explain what the process would be like and that it involved extensive cutting of stone to fit an unusual shaped pool and patio, this effort went a long way to assist us in the community relations since it was summer and people were outside during the time of construction. The team was well qualified and did a terrific job of suggesting new ideas as the job continued so we got the best possible result. The billing in the end was exactly as quoted and all changes to the original plan were accurately processed to exactly what we discussed. In essence an easy process unlike other contractors we have used. Overall we give the company a solid review and a recommendation for others to use them in a reasonably difficult job.

Richard, the Project Manager, is professional, patient, and knowledgeable. The craftsmanship of the crew was great. From the time of his first visit for an estimate to the ultimate completion of the project, Eddie and his team at Green Scene Landscaping were a pleasure to work with. Though ours was not a huge project, it affected the front appearance and street appeal of our house so was very important to us. They were not the cheapest quote of the four we obtained [ in fact, they were the most expensive but not out of line] we were impressed from the beginning with their consummate professionalism. The project was done on time and on budget which has not been our experience with previous contractors for this type of work. Eddie was full of great suggestions and readily accepted our changes as they cropped up during the planning. The team worked 12 hour days and were some of the tidiest workmen we've ever encountered. We have received numerous complements on the work from neighbors and friends and have passed on Green Scene's name to several. In fact, we plan to have them do more work this Spring. Eddie was amazing and was very helpful in answering all our questions. Even with the challenges brought by COVID Eddie was able to juggle my projects to get some of it done early so I can enjoy my backyard. He then returned and did an amazing job and my backyard now looks great!!!!!!!

I don't know how real are the positive reviews but I had bad experience with this company. I called them at the beginning of May to hire them for a job in my backyard. I got an estimate quote on the phone and they told me I will be contacted for an appointment on the site for measurement and the contract. After 2 weeks I called back because I didn't receive any calls from them. I got same answer "...you will be called in 2-3 days...". I have to call them every 2 weeks but I haven't received a call from them in 14 weeks and the summer is almost gone. Unprofessional and untrustworthy company. This is not the way to treat your customers. Not worthy of any stars.

We signed up with Green Scene after visiting their booth at the home show. We found them wonderful to work with. Eddie and Claudio explained our options for deck and landscape design. Joanne was great in giving us ideas for landscaping. The actual work was done professionally. The crew kept the area clean. We're very happy with the final product. The steps down the side house have been great. Any follow up concerns or questions were answered quickly and dealt with. No issues in recommending Green scene or using them again. Thanks.
