Not a bad selection of good quality wares, I avoid Rona due to their lumber usually being in a yard outside open to the elements. At least at another local big box store has their lumber indoors and dry for customers.

Just got off the phone with Wayne at our Rona store in Medicine Hat, Beautiful Alberta. He was very kind and I said I hoped I could speak what I need to with awful migraine. Then suddenly I was young and my big bro was quietly explaining something , kind and clear! This is a million stars for you guys with this one being done with compassion. Wayne, never change, teach the youth you train, cashier's having a bad day to see they aren't there to fix her life but support her and acknowledge when she does her best. I have always had a great experience at this Rona store. One of the managers went the extra mile for me, when I was looking for a specific type of saw blade, and they helped me with parts on a lifetime warranty faucet that they no longer stock. The store is a bit smaller than I am used to, coming from a larger city, but the staff more than make up for that, with their willingness to help out in absolutely any way possible!

I was looking for a bathroom vanity light. Not flashy but stylish and functional. They had a few to choose from but found one. A small store but adequate. Nice and clean but not alot of staff.

Unless you've just landed in upper North America, then this is a typical big box hardware store. I think the prices are too high, and I usually go to Home Depot because you can take out cash. If price is your main motivator, go to Princess Auto. Ceteris paribus.....it's a mediocrity.

If we could give a zero we would. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing in the store and in the pick up yard. Special ordered privacy panels which were the poorest quality and not even saleable. Even to get refund had to go from front to the back to the front of store to get the paperwork done to refund. Wait in line each time and then need manager approval for refund which took longer. Disappointing! Want to support Canadian company but service and product is not to standard. 2 hours in store/warehouse to pick up preordered item. 30 minutes to g 3

The best part of this store is the staff and their knowledge. Unlike other big box stores, if you have a question you can go to the service desk and ask someone there. In other stores I need to hunt for someone.

I had to give 1 star or I could not leave a review. My husband and I went in the store 3 weeks ago and ordered floor tiling. Yes, the man said..It will be in the store in a week. It is very popular. We went back a week later and it wasn't there. Apparently he forgot to order. OK we are not happy but things like that happen. So the employee says to us..It is in Calgary and will only take 2 days to be here. So today we call as we are going up to medicine Hat tmrw..Whoops another employee says..It has not been ordered and there is none in Calgary. So NOT impressed. Will not EVER darken the doors of Rona again...

They struggled on all fronts of their customer service !!!! I needed to order a tool box tote , the item in store time failed being weeks down the road and the product ordered was wrong. the solutions available left me empty handed , the staff helping seemed to need me to repeat my self at least twice for everything and they could not after taking full price for the item at the time of order, refund it after the discovery was made that they ordered the wrong item , could not it , and could only offer a gift card as credit ......like why would I still wanna shop there?!

We bought some utility mat for a dance floor for our wedding and didn't end up needing it. We went to rona without a receipt and Larry, the manager was so kind and willing to help us out. He was upbeat, friendly and was willing to work with us, saving us much needed extra cash for the wedding! He gave us a gift card in exchange. Such a great experience!

I've been going to Rona for a year now. Staff has stayed the same, great people, knows their stuff, always would come help or chat about my projects. Staff is always happy with positive attitudes. In the summertime someone stole my windshield wipers off my car. (Lol) In the morning I noticed they were gone and it was pouring rain. Went to Rona.. Rob helped find some new ones and put them on my car even though it was really cold outside and that wasn't his job. I really appreciated that Rona has an amazing team.

Of the employees that I interacted with, only one was helpful. One told me they didn't carry products that they did carry in her dept. I would write that off as ignorance, but when I asked a different employee, he asked her and she said they had them and told him where they were. A third employee was working outside and didn't know where we were supposed to pay for materials from his area.
