Over charges for his services . Called regarding a broken vacuum breaker and told me on the phone a plumber had to repair it. Said he would come out to look and said a plumber had to fix it. Said he would call "his" plumber and made a phone call. He spent all of 5 minutes making a phone call, did no work and charged me 65 bucks for a service call plus a bill from the plumber. Total bill of 305 dollars by sub-contracting out to a plumber. This guy does not inform customers they will be charged for service calls or subcontracts. He doesn't break down your invoice to show exactly what you are being charged. Very dishonest business tactics. Avoid this business and the headaches. With so many good landscape companies out there be smart and save yourself some money.

a completely awful company. i am posting on the behalf of my elderly grandmother who hired these guys to come do her lawn, as she is disabled and cannot do so herself. they made her pay upfront and then said they were going back to the shop to grab some tools but never returned. we have been calling nonstop and they will not answer the phone. please do NOT hire this company

We have worked with B&L on a professional level, and have always been impressed with them. This year we needed help with snow removal, and although I'm sure they were overrun with phone calls, they responded quickly, and professionally. We are VERY pleased with the service.

Ripped my friends off. Supposedly 'renovated' their home. Not! Shotty workmanship, no vapour barrier, incorrect installation of shower doors (upside down)....and much more! Do your homework when hiring someone to renovate.

My parents who both have back issues hired B&L to shovel their sidewalks/driveway and paid them a fairly high price. The neighbours who hired another company have had their sidewalks and driveway shovelled twice already for a way cheaper price. My parents have called them more than once because they had a medical appointment and still no one has come. So they had to try and leave the home through almost 2 foot drifts. My dad fell and my mom barely was able to get him up. This is just not right to treat your elderly customers as second rate to large business. I don't know how this business plans on keeping them as a customer when they took their money and then don't do any work.
