Excellent and fair price, and for a small job he was very responsive and managed to fit us in during his busy season pretty quickly. First time dealing with this gentleman but I will definitely use him again. He has a bucket truck and a wood chipper and did all the cleanup included in his pricing. Cut the stump nice and low to the ground for us and really cleaned up all of his work. Five stars for sure.

Couldn't have been better really. My yard had been a bit neglected and I wanted it fixed up as soon as possible. Other places I called said they were booking ahead in in weeks or even months (later in the Spring). A Cut Above returned my voice mail within hours (during the busiest time of year) and were able to work on my yard that same week; they pruned my trees to look good and to grow healthy; and gave me lots of good advise on how to care for the trees down the road.

Mike was very fast to reply to a request for a quote. He came by and was able to provide a written estimate and propose a date which worked for us. He is much less expensive than competitors and was able to complete the job within a few days, rather than months. He showed up and was completed in just over an hour! My tree was huge and really tall. I was surprised how quickly and efficiently and safely he and his team worked. He also proposed a way to work on the rest of my yard issues which I really liked and I'm excited to work with him again in the future.

I never had a tree removed by A Cut Above Tree Services. My dealing with this company was through a cancellation of a deal for a truck. I had the owner of the company's assurances that nothing was wrong with the truck. After I drove the length of the province I saw with my own eyes that state of the truck. I decided that it wasn't in the condition that I had been promised. He promised to reimburse my deposit. It has been 16 months and a lot of lies that he was going to reimburse the deposit. Big waste of money and time. I should have read the reviews of the company.

Guys a complete tool ..you being lippy doesn't classify you as a tool ..but calling people crack heads and meth heads who have never been involved in drugs of any kind does let's see what did you say all painters are crack heads our owner is a meth head so who needs to be honest about our encounter ..so I'm big enough to apologize for my part maybe we were both having a bad day I dont know but yes we are legit. Registered bonded liscensed and insured with a full roster of continual clientel anyhow have yourself a wonderful day as I tried to tell you before you decided to call me a crack head

These real professionals came to cut down my neighbors trees. They started falling branches into my yard with my dogs outside. So we had 2 branches hit our house. One was leaning against our kitchen window which is at least 10ft off the ground. Oh, did I mention they didn't even come knock on my door that they were going to fall branches and stumps into my yard. My neighbor came half way through. Than I went outside to see what they were doing. There was a 6ft stump laying through my fence. I asked them if they thought this was acceptable. His reply "what do you mean?". Well, there's a stump through my fence and 2 branches that we know of have hit our house. He laughs and says " nothing hit your house". I replied ' I have pictures". Than he asked me what he should do, drop it on the neighbors cement pad or roof, or my dead grass? Well, you're the "professionals" figure it out, that's why they hired you. I'm not a arborist but I can assure you 100% how these guys cut down tress is not the proper way at all. My contractor was also installing a window on that side of the house and they had no problem falling stumps while he was in their line of fire. My fence isn't the nicest but we just bought this house 2 months ago and have been doing renovations on the main floor. We were planning on putting a new fence in next year but that isn the point. They have ZERO respect for people properties and have no problem arguing with the neighbor that never even hired them or gave them permission to be In our yard.

Came to cut our neighbours trees. They proceeded to use our yard to fall the trees into without asking permission. Branches were falling against our house and through our fence. Employees and foreman were extremely unprofessional and got in an argument with my husband when we confronted them that what they are doing is not okay. Do not recommend these clowns.

Called Mike to prune two of my large trees. He responded quickly to my voice mail and came to provide a quote which was very reasonable. He came with his crew the next day and was done quickly and efficently doing a great job and cleaned up perfectly. Price was very fair and reasonable. Would definitely recommend for any size job.

No stars wasn't an option so I have to give one unfortunately. This company is doing unsafe work at the Southridge Trailer park in high traffic residential areas on a daily basis. Seen a guy with an elevated work platform today , standing in the basket texting on his cell phone while blocking the road without a harness on! After he finally moved and I was able to park I asked where his harness was and it became very confrontational in a hurry. The also never had any drop zone flagged and were using tools in the basket to cut trees with. The entire experience in my opinion shows a complete lack of professionalism and safety for themselves and anyone living in the area. I was never kicked out of the park . I went and told the park manager about what you was doing and you showed up interrupting my complaint ,and threatened me with violence so I walked by my own choice. Real professional man. Plus whether you think I'm an idiot or not, your the one with a business that was standing in a running EWP with no harness , texting on your cell phone while blocking traffic. Rather then even trying to deny the truth you would rather call names and be confrontational again. Just because I am a 48 year old guy who is recovering from an injury, gives you no right to try and bully me or threaten me. Your words speak for yourself man. I will not be intimidated.

Mike and his crew did a great job, my trees look terrific! They trimmed my trees for the garbage trucks not to hit and cleared up all the branches, even branches I had break from the wind that I was piling up along my fence. Talk about going the extra mile!! This year seems to be especially busy for all of the tree cutting companies so much that many won't return calls or even show up to do estimates. I really appreciate that Mike was able to get to my trees as soon as he did for how busy the industry is right now. Thanks again for the great work!!

Not only did he cut them and deliver them to our school (which the kids thought was a pretty big deal) but he sent extra and donated them to us. I called cut above after getting other quotes from different companies in town. I thought it was great they are certified, insured, and had documents ready. Work was quick and efficient they left no mess behind and had great attitudes. The price point was great!!!! They even went beyond the scope of work and took care of another little job that wasn’t quoted. I would definitely recommend them and will use them for all future work !!!!!! Great job guys.
