I didn't buy anything today I was just doing some price comparing and they seem to be very reasonable. Sure you could go to Walmart and pay $2 for a flower that you'd pay $4 here for but you also get what you pay for. Such a great selection and everything looked so healthy. Since I am new at any type of gardening I naturally had a few questions. The woman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and friendly. After telling her what it was I was trying to achieve in my yard she was able to give me the most economical options. My only regret is not catching her name so I could give her credit in this review. I will definitely be coming back here when we are ready to start our landscaping!

Always clean, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, and wonderful selection for any level of gardner. They have also done a wonderful job of making their space covid-19/physical distancing friendly, while still maintaining the comfort of their patrons and staff. My favorite local greenhouse hands down. While I have not experienced it myself, I've also heard wonderful things about their curb side pick up.

Great customer service. Plane quality is outstanding. I felt like I bought more than usually and it was cheaper than a different green house I usually go to. Highly recommended! Flat easy walking in the centre. Great carts to push. And I saw pets are welcome

Fantastic greenhouse. Employees are very polite, helpful and friendly. When you arrive, they spray your hands to sanitize them and you take a cart- the carts are how they keep track of how many people are in the greenhouse- no carts means they've reached capacity. They have lots of really healthy looking plants, vegetables and herbs. I found a lot of things I haven't seen anywhere else, including ghost peppers. For what amounts to a greenhouse within the city, I was impressed with what I saw here. Keep up the good work!

Of all the greenhouses in Winnipeg (Yes I have been to them all), this one has the best quality of plants. They take pride in how healthy and neat all their plants are. Great selection, fair prices and friendly staff. The second you walk in the store you can tell how much pride they take on the plant quality.

Beautiful, quality plants abound here! Such an inspiring place to wander through, with helpful but laid back staff. This is my favorite greenhouse in/around Winnipeg for annual and perennial plants suitable for Winnipeg’s climate. They don’t seem to have trees here but we found some lovely raspberry bushes and rhubarb plants at very good prices. Loads of gorgeous flowers, grasses and shade happy hostas. Their items all seemed to be priced well compared to lots of other greenhouses I’ve visited lately and their plants all look healthy and strong too. The space is well laid out and easy to find what you want... no cramped mazes here like other places. You can easily see across the greenhouse and find what you need. Can’t wait to come back here for more! I’m glad I came here and I left feeling inspired.

Plants are starting to get larger and roots are getting root-bound in those little plastic pots. The planting season is in its last couple weeks and plants with large flowers generally are more difficult to transplant. You should pick off the large blooms and give the plant a chance to grow. Thé flowers will come back within a week or so. If your buying flowers now, prices should be coming down to provide some insentive to get rid of product.

My first time buying from Sumkas, will not be my last. Amazing Dracula flowers. I thought they would be over priced so never went but everything is extreemly reasonably priced! Baskets for $17 were even a $1 cheaper than superstore. Hope to find more "gothic" flowers next year, like the black and blood red petunias. Staff were very friendly and checkout was fast. 5/5!

The flowers from Sumka always last the entire summer and keep growing & blooming. Their prices may be slightly higher than Walmart or Home Depot (but not by much), however their flowers are worth the small premium. They know exactly what they are doing as plants make up their entire business, not like those others whose main concern is consumer goods or home building supplies.

Prices have doubled over the last year. For almost $250. I never even got my tomatoes. Will have a bit of color around here but not the usual 7 to 9 flats and half dozen pots.
