Overall I had a great experience hiring Dwayne and his team, to build a patio in my backyard. Dwayne maintained constant communication between myself and him. He explained the entire process. The estimates were accurate, the job was done within the projected time frame. Would definitely hire again for future projects, as well as recommend him to others.

Eleven years ago, I bought my first house. The yard looked like an old parking lot. Earthworks was in its early days then - but they spun straw into gold and created crazy-beautiful gardens. People from all around made a point of walking by the yard. And now I've bought a new house. Of course, I got Earthworks to do my landscaping. It was interesting to see what eleven years has done for Dwayne Regehr, who is now at the top of his game. He is an artist at heart, and this informs everything he does. His team is strong - he chooses good people, trains them well, and it's amazing to see how much they love coming to work. The crew worked like lightning. They left beauty - richness. And they left great joy.

Dwayne and his crew installed a patio in our backyard this year. The patio looks fantastic, and we were very happy with the quality of work. The only downside was that when the team finished the job they did not leave our yard in a very good state Several fence boards had been knocked loose into our neighbours yard and left there without mentioning it to us, but Dwayne was very apologetic when I contacted him and offered to come by the next day to clean it up. All in all we are very happy with the patio itself. The work was done quickly and really improved the look of our yard.

Poorly done job. My driveway ended up settling too much and water issues were not fixed. When issues were explained a month after the job was done, Dwayne with earthworks told me there must be another issue with area and that he could not fix. He didn’t even attempt to correct the issues. What a waste of $1300 and will never use or refer them! Don’t use Earthworks! *Update: added picture of earthworks invoice (with details covered for privacy), since owner replied that the company didn’t do the work... what a shame of a company! I will never refer anyone to this company.

Very happy with the experience. The thought and care given to the creative side of our sidewalk and patio design was much appreciated and impressive. Dwayne took time to find out our style-then made great suggestions on how our cobbles could flow to create the look we wanted. This was very important to me. The job came in on-time, on budget, and is gorgeous. I also very much appreciate the follow up from Earthworks to ensure the flagstone has remained properly seated. Everything was on schedule, communication was easy (he always replied to my emails within a few hours), the patio turned out beautiful, and when I changed my mind about the steps after everything was done, Dwayne was still very accommodating and offered to do an add-on at a reasonable price. Dwayne came to our home about a month ago, saw what we wanted done, gave us a quote and indicated it would be around 6 weeks before they could get to it. In about 5 weeks he called to indicate that they would begin the next day at 8. They were on time, did a great job, in extreme heat & humidity and the end cost was as quoted. Needless to say I enjoy working with people who are on time, honest and do professional work - Earthworks Landscaping covers off all of these important points for me.

Had someone out to give a quote for some landscaping in my backyard on may 6th 2019. By the 16th I still had not received any communication from them. I then emailed on the 16th to follow up and ask when I could expect to receive the quote and got no response. Have still not had any contact from them since the 6th (today is may 31). If it was going to take this long to get a quote I would expect some kind of acknowledgment that they were still working on it especially after sending a follow up email. If they did not want to do the job I would have preferred that they just tell me that at the initial assessment rather than expecting to get something from them. I am sure they are busy but this is still a very poor experience that I have had with this company.

We heard about this company and the good work they do from a family member. We subsequently hired them to do a large interlocking brick patio and raised stone planter at the rear of our house. The patio was large, with an intricate design. I was extremely impressed with their work, right from protecting our lawn from damage to the excellent work they did on the patio and planter. The crew was very pleasant and worked hard in very hot weather. We have already had many compliments on our new patio and planter and we will be hiring them to do a stone planter in our front yard next year. Very professional and service oriented, which is a nice trait in this day and age!

This was our second project with Earthworks Landscaping, and Dwayne and his crew once again lived up to our expectations and did a great job! We had a large patio installed to use as a basketball court, play area and for lounging. We also had trees planted and our fence fixed. In addition, we had our front yard fully landscaped as we were tired of never being able to keep the grass in good shape. From concept to finished product, we received exactly what we were hoping for and at the exact quoted price. The entire project was completed in a week and we could not be happier. We had many contractors come to give estimates and we chose Earthworks. Dwayne's estimate on when he could do the project was incredible and he charged us what he quoted. We had done some changes after the initial meeting and within 24 hours we had a revised estimate sent to us for review and he made additional suggestions to us for consideration. He actually was able to start before the estimated date and we couldn't be happier with our new backyard space. I was most impressed when emailing questions that he would answer them very quickly. Excellent work at a fair price. I asked Dwayne to help with grading the side and front of the house, as we were getting leakage into the basement. Earthworks came and finished the job in two days, and shortly after we had a torrential rain. None of it came into the basement and the yard looks great! I am planning to hire them for more work on our yard in the coming years.
