Knowledgeable people on staff, and lots of them around on this busy weekend. Car service outside for heavier and larger products with an efficient system in place. Parking/traffic attendant was present during my visit. The only drawback is the clientele, which thinks it's ok to cut you off (driving or walking) and then immediately stop in front of you. 4 times during my 30min. visit. Only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because they did not have a type of sand I needed in stock, nor were they planning to do so.

Nice place, but the staff is not knowledgeable. Bought a "lilas japonais" last year, and after using a root enhancer and following the sales lady how to use it, the tree died. Very poor customers' service at the cash. It was mentioned in other comments but it has not changed. Experienced cashiers who misinform customers either at best because of lack of knowledge of basic policies or simply because of an attitude of indifference/unwillingness to help. For example, when asked what the return policy is, answers: "why would you return these? They are on sale." then later "it is final sale but maybe you can return if still in the pot." A simple and right answer would do. Other occasions include cashier breaking a branch of a plant and unapologetically telling customer that "it grows back". And another of many examples is being answered that a sale "ends next Wednesday" when it is in fact a seasonal sale. Note that these are answers from an experienced cashier. Quality of plants: on two occasions, have bought plants on sale that ended up being diseased. Just pick carefully. Other plants have survived thus far. Pros: The staff working in the gardens are helpful and knowledgeable. Looks like they enjoy their work. The store has a vast variety of plants. Overall, the cash service is just extremely unpleasant. For a relaxing experience, I prefer going elsewhere. For a specific plant, get in and get out.

Bought a pot of mixed herbs last autumn for cooking over the winter.With proper trimming and care, The herbs did ok but not the pot is infested with Leucocoprinus birnbaumii. Poisonous mushroom if consumed. Thrown the plant right away considering it's a pot of Cooking herbs. That means their potting dirt is contaminated. Price at the cash was not as identified. I will never go there again... EVER.

Love this garden centre, could spend ages there. It is bigger than it looks with a huge assortment of indoor and outdoor plants, from seasonals to succulents, there is something for everyone. I visited one busy Saturday afternoon for a diagnosis of my orchid who has been very sick recently. The staff who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and courteous, despite it being busy, he gave us his time and attention to explain everything in detail. They have every garden product you can think of which are all very good quality, a little pricey though they have many special offers which are a bargain sometimes. Overall, definitely one of the best garden centres in Montreal!

My favorite garden center.! They have a huge assortment of plants and flowers although the prices is just a wee bit higher this time, hence the 4stars. Hope it gets better though. But overall, it is a great place to shop for gardening needs. Good staff service is an added compliment to a good business. Parking can be a bit of a wait, personally, i think it comes with the turf since customers come because they know it is a good place for all your gardening needs.
