We used them in 2018. Pros: -Their design guys were great and really worked over several plans and evolved the plan as our ideas changed. -They attempted several times to correct their errors and while they never fully did, they did try several times to correct it, which does say something. Cons: -They use subcontractors and so you never know what kind of quality you will get. -They didn't level the pave-uni properly, none of the lines were straight, the stones were improperly placed and they actually had to redo it 5 times to try and fix their errors. Lets just say I was fed up and it looks good from far, so... I let that slide -They're over priced. I know the prices of what things cost and knew they were charging a lot more, but thought if I didn't have to think about it, it'd be hassle free: I was wrong. -They had the grass guys come and install all the grass before the dirt was even laid down. The grass guy said it's not his fault. Most of the grass died, the dirt they did lay down on a 7500 square food property was done so by SHOVEL. Nothing was level and while they did replace some of the grass, it was different colour and look. -They built a deck, not to our plans because they messed up the dimensions but they tried to work something that would be ok, and the design turned out decent, but they messed up the membrane part, I had water infiltration, thankfully my basement was unfinished. They tried 4 times to fix the errors of the deck, they got it right on the 5th time, they tried telling me it wasn't because of the deck even though I've been a carpenter, am a contractor myself and knew exactly where they went wrong, finally they got it right. -They tried charging extra fees for trees removed, which was in the contract but they didn't realize they'd be "that big" even though they were there on several occasions. -There were tons of delays, no one showed up when they were supposed to and many of the sub contractors actually decided to leave when they got there because they weren't informed properly of the job they had to do. -They tried charging extra fees for a dumpster that was needed even though no dumpster or truck that would have a dumpster ever came. They got rid of the "extra" things they said they had to remove with a regular pick up. Actually, I'm gonna stop right here. I could keep going on, but the list is too long and people wont read all this. They have nice products, they have a nice design team, they TRY to make you happy but they are not contractors. They don't know how to manage projects and people and charge too much for a job done too poorly. They should not be in the project management business. Don't believe me? Try them, you'll see and you'll be reminded of this review. I gave them 2 stars because it's their actual rating. They're not a fly by company, they will try to make it right but from everyone else I know who has tried them, it's been a few years they keep finding cheap subcontractors and the work is not great. A clueless home owner who's at least present will do a better job finding their own specialized landscapers to do each job properly. Heed my advice!

When they finally showed up, the gravel delivered for the foundation was recycled and without my vigilance, the team would have reused the contaminated 0-3 / 4 from my old terrace for the foundation of the new terrace. When the excavation team left, it was 1 month before the installation team showed up. Several calls from me were necessary to get things done. There was an error in the delivery of the paver and the installation stretched over 1 week instead of the 2 days as I had been told. One reason for this delay, the team arrives around 10-11 am in the morning ... An error in the laying of the paving stone caused quite a headache during the construction of the balcony (lines not parallel to the foundation). The team works without a sweater and with very loud music that disturbs the neighbors. At no time did a representative of Aménagement Soleil show up during the work, only once it was all over to pick up the last check. The cleaning took 1 week to complete. Tools remained in the backyard throughout this week and pallets were on the street ready to be picked up. In total, the project was delivered 1.5 months late and some tasks had to be completed by myself for the finishing. Do yourself a favor, choose better than me ... (Original) J’ai fait affaire avec cette compagnie car elle avait pignon sur rue avec une belle salle de montre, ce qui était pour moi un gage de qualité... Avant la signature du très long et laborieux contrat qui déresponsabilise l’entrepreneur entièrement (probablement à la limite du légal) vous avez droit à des tonnes de suivis du vendeur... Suite à la signature du contrat, tout s’arrête, tout sauf les demandes de paiement automatiques de leur système, peu importe l’avancement des travaux. Aucune communication à l’approche des dates pourtant prévues au contrat... aucun appel pour vous avisez des retards dans leur planification... vous devez les harceler pour tenter d’obtenir des réponses et des dates qui ne sont par la suite pas respectées... Le contrat mentionne qu’ils se réservent le droit d’utiliser des sous-entrepreneurs, soyez assurés que c’est ce que vous aurez! Quand ils ont finit par se présenter, le gravier livré pour la fondation était du recyclé et sans ma vigilance, l’équipe aurait réutilisé le 0-3/4 contaminé de mon ancienne terrasse pour la fondation de la nouvelle terrasse. Lorsque l’équipe d’excavation a quitté, il s’est passé 1 mois avant de voir l’équipe de pose se présenter. Plusieurs appels de ma part ont été nécessaires pour faire avancer les choses. Il y a eu une erreur dans la livraison du pavé et l’installation s’est étirée sur 1 semaine au lieu des 2 jours comme on m’avait mentionné. Une raison pour expliquer ce retard, l’équipe arrive vers 10-11hrs le matin... Une erreur dans la pose du pavé a causé tout un casse tête lors de la construction du balcon (lignes non parallèles à la fondation). L’équipe travaille sans chandail et avec de la musique très forte qui dérange les voisins. En aucun temps un représentant d’Aménagement Soleil s’est présenté durant les travaux, seulement une fois que tout était fini pour venir chercher le dernier chèque. Le nettoyage a pris 1 semaine à compléter. Des outils sont restés dans la cour arrière durant toute cette semaine et des palettes étaient dans la rue prêtes à être récupérées. Au total, le projet a été livré avec 1 mois et demi de retard et certaines tâches ont dûes être complétées par moi-même pour la finition. Faites-vous une faveur, choisissez mieux que moi...

Contract amount: approximately $ 12K. Then we realized how much we were not important anymore. The work was to be done from May 7 to 9 and finally to be done in August after multiple calls to Luigi. For the privacy wall, the supplier who came to fix it told me that the people who had installed it the first time had not dug more than 12 inches. He, it seems, repaired him (and my flagstones) but he damaged my pool and put concrete everywhere I had to clean. He replaced my light by sticking it to the ground. And the dye on my patio looks like yable! We finally canceled the second contract, except for the side of the house, because the materials were delivered. It is a sub-contractor of a sub-contractor who came to do the work but without a plan, without knowing what he had to do. A chance he was resourceful and thorough! In closing, we asked that the stone sealer of my course be made on a specific date. They did it ... but forgetting to put sand back after the pressure wash. So everything is sealed but with holes between the stones! In short, it's beautiful at first and we take care of you when the contract is a significant amount but we wake up the year after with a course that does not look like what we has invested. Subcontractors do not care about customers and Aménagement Soleil have a lot of trouble managing customer expectations and giving realistic deadlines. By the way, I notice that every time this company has a bad comment, the company says that this person is not a customer or that the competitor is making false accounts. Me, I guarantee you that I am a real customer. And Aménagement Soleil knows it very well. We did business with Aménagement Soleil Plus to redo our backyard course. It was a big contract (pool, cabana, terrace, gazebo, lounge area, outdoor kitchen, etc. ..) Our deadlines were very tight. Our course was delivered 90% on time (it was missing the fence around the pool) but the result is spectacular! There have been some problems, especially with suppliers, along the way but all large projects have them. It is therefore important to follow his project. On the other hand, whenever we had a problem, Luigi, the owner of Aménagement Soleil Plus, took care himself to solve the problem to our satisfaction. He is very efficient and attentive. A special mention to Claude, the gardener and the team who did the paving and the outdoor kitchen. It was not easy, I had high demands and they worked really well. Karine and Yves (Original) Mise à jour août 2019: Nous avions fait un commentaire assez positif l’an passé, suite à nos travaux. Comme nous l’avions mentionné, il est vrai que nous avions eu quelques problèmes, surtout avec les fournisseurs, mais sommes toute, nous étions satisfait. Il faut dire que le contrat valait plus de 100K$. Cette année, au début du printemps, la surprise fût toute autre: Mur d’intimité qui tombait, cours qui se remplit d’eau faisant bouger les dalles (pas assez de pierres concassées sous les dalles) et la piscine (nous n’avons même pas pu la faire nettoyer au complet en la vidant complètement car la compagnie de nettoyage craignait que ma piscine se soulève!), teinture de patio complètement à refaire, lumière décollée... Évidemment, on nous mentionne que le tout est sous garantie. Comme nous sommes des gens fidèles, nous donnons un autre contrat à Aménagement Soleil, soit le coté de notre maison à refaire en dalle et quelques autres petites choses. Montant du contrat: environ 12K$. Alors là, nous avons réalisé combien nous n’étions plus important. Les travaux devaient se faire du 7 au 9 mai pour finalement se faire en août après de multiples appels à Luigi. Pour le mur d’intimité, le fournisseur qui est venu le réparer m’a avoué que les gens qui l’avaient installé la première fois n’avait pas creusé plus de 12 pouces. Lui, semble-t-il, l’a réparé (ainsi que mes dalles) mais il a endommagé ma piscine et a mis du béton partout que j’ai dû nettoyer. Il a replacé ma lumière en la recollant croche. Et la teinture de mon patio a l’air du yable! Nous avons finalement tout annulé le deuxième contrat, sauf la partie du côté de la maison, car les matériaux étaient livrés. C’est un sous-contractant d’un sous-contractant qui est venu faire les travaux mais sans plan, sans savoir ce qu’il devait faire. Une chance qu’il était débrouillard et minutieux! En terminant, nous avions demandé à ce que le scellant des pierres de ma cours se fasse à une date précise. Ils l’ont fait... mais en oubliant de remettre du sable après le lavage à la pression. Ce qui fait que tout est scellé mais avec des trous entre les pierres! Bref, c’est beau au début et on s’occupe de vous quand le contrat est d’un montant significatif mais on se réveille l’année d’après avec une cours qui n’a pas l’air de ce qu’on a investit. Les sous-contractants se foutent des clients et Aménagement Soleil ont beaucoup de difficulté à gérer les attentes des clients et à donner des délais réalistes. En passant, je remarque que chaque fois que cette compagnie a un mauvais commentaire, la compagnie dit que cette personne n’est pas un client ou que c’est le compétiteur qui fait des faux comptes. Moi, je vous garantit que je suis une vraie cliente. Et Aménagement Soleil le sait très bien. Nous avons fait affaire avec Aménagement Soleil Plus pour refaire notre cours arrière. Ce fût un gros contrat (piscine, cabanon, terrasse, gazebo, espace salon, cuisine extérieure, etc..) Nos délais étaient très serrés. Notre cours fût livrée à 90% dans les délais (il manquait la clôture autour de la piscine) mais le résultat est spectaculaire! Il y a bien eu quelques problèmes, surtout avec les fournisseurs, en cours de route mais tous les projets d'envergure en ont. Il est donc important de suivre son projet. Par contre, à chaque fois que nous avions un problème, Luigi, le propriétaire de Aménagement Soleil Plus, s'occupait lui-même de régler le problème à notre satisfaction. Il est très efficace et attentionné. Une mention spéciale à Claude, le jardinier et à l'équipe qui a fait le pavage et la cuisine extérieure. Celui-ci nous a confirmé qu'il n'avait jamais reçu la commande pour notre spa de la part d'aménagement soleil mais qu'en effet, le fabricant nous a confirmé ne plus vouloir faire affaire avec cette compagnie. Le projet a été en attente et le mauvais spa trainait sur notre terrain en avant.... entretemps, le trou fait par l'excavateur se défaisait à cause de la pluie et nous étions toujours en attente du ''bon spa''. La livraison a eu lieu en novembre, juste avant la neige. Le personnel ou sous contractant est en nombre insuffisant, nous avons dû creuser personnellement pour les aider, les dalles livrées autour du spa n'étaient pas celles commandées, les mesures ont mal été prises pour l'installation et on a dû composer avec! Pour ce qui est des réparations faites, soit clôture, crépi, il y a eu 5 contracteurs différents depuis l'automne dernier qui sont passés, et le tout vient tout juste de se régler, la semaine passée. I came here to write a really long review about how unprofessional, unreliable, unfathonably aweful this company is, but pretty much all what have been written before portray a really accurate picture of how bad this company is. Be certain, all the positive reviews are written by Amenagement Soleil’s employees, there is noway it could be the review of a customer. Just to re-iterate: DO NOT DEAL WITH AMENAGEMENT SOLEIL AT ALL COSTS. Really, this is the worst company you can ever do business with. I’m a customer, and I had to learn this truth the hard way. I wish I had taken the time to read some of the reviews before committing to dealing with them. Some of the highlights of why you shouldn’t even think about dealing with them: - they sell you promises, lots and lots of unfulfilled promises - google earth is their only guide to take measurments so eventually all measurments will be completely off during execution time, and then they blame you for their mistakes, and eventually the project will be very different from what you have agreed upon, and you’ll be paying the price of that - they deal with the cheapest subcontractors who will deliver the poorest quality of work - the quality of work is really poor, really really poor - the owners are extremely rude, and disrespectful, they neither care about the work, nor about their customers frustrations and complaints. Once they get paid, they forget that you’re a customer - the work will take ages to finish - they will throw the blame on you right away for any construction or excavation mistakes they have committed - they will try to charge you extra for any opportunity they can take advantage of - lots of miscommunication and mismanagement, don’t ever expect that they’ll let you know about anything, you have to follow up with them all the time, and even with their subcontractors Honestly, I can write pages about how frustrating and stressfull dealing with this company was for me, but hopefully this will give you a good idea what you’ll be deaing with.
