Lovely store with beautiful and nostalgic items. They also flower and gardening items. You can find decorative ornaments and backyard goods. The staff are very respectful and engaging. The cashier is polite and helpful. I usually go there just to hang out and look at the items and buy some stuff. They also have ice cream during summer starting May 1st. The ice-cream booth is wooden and very nostalgic. The whole centre reminds me of the 70s and 60s kind of travelling in the time.

Bought succulents from here. They looked okay when I purchased them however, the next day they started to rot and shrivel up. It seems as though they were severely dehydrated when I purchased them. When I called I was told there were no guarantees for them, and asked if I was told that. When I said no, she said nothing we can do and to go to peavey mart and buy a spray. Clearly had no idea what she was talking about, didn’t even recommend me what sort of spray to use. How was I supposed to know there was no guarantee if I was not told. You think you’d mention that when someone is purchasing a plant that already didn’t look the best.

Love all the beautiful little gems to be found at A&M Garden Centre from beautiful flower arrangements to gardening supplies or all kinds off outdoor home decor… This was my first year coming here as im new to the neighborhood but i have completed my first part of my garden with everything from A&M Garden Centre and it turned out beautiful and just how i imagined i wanted it to be! ???????? Highly recommend and will definitely be back not to mention great polite helpful sweet employees and a yummy ice cream stand when you leave! 5 Star service thanks for everything A&M

This place is absolute garbage. They have zero idea how much soil it takes to cover 1700sq ft and the the owner has no idea how much soil it would take to cover any area that I asked for. She was extremely rude and i repeatedly said to her im just trying to figure out how much soil i need and she kept saying I DONT KNOW IT'S $2.99 A BAG! Very poor customer service. Fisher top soil are kind courteous and knowledged. This place is garbage. And I've been told by several contractors their soil is half rotted.

Be aware that no matter the timeline, A&M Gardens on Colonel Talbot won’t accept returns or exchanges including pots in planters as per “Covid concerns”. Many businesses are accepting returns by simply cleaning their products. This is a poor excuse to avoid the hassle. Anyone can wipe down a plastic pot and it’s safe. Staff aren’t even masked and it’s not mandatory to be masked to enter. So any “germs” are being spread all over the place and you need to take your own precautions. Everyone is touching plants and if put back on the shelf they aren’t being wiped down. I am taking better precautions than this business is and I work in health care. Cleaning and masking is the best tools to stop the spread of covid. It’s not an excuse to avoid returns or exchanges. At least have the decency to mention it during checkout. That planter would’ve came back to them cleaner than when it left. Their priorities are not everyone’s safety or learning how to safely operate. We are not at all pleased. We’ve spent over 1000$ there and tried to exchange a Boxwood for the correct Boxwood shrub less than an hour later as they weren’t labelled and my husband picked up the wrong one to match our yard. The staff couldn’t help him choose a boxwood that would grow into a globe, hence the wrong one was purchased. They could have helped him navigate his purchase better. They could have notified him that all sales are final (clearly it will die in the pot before we can return it). They could have wiped down the pot to make it safe. You just lost a good local customer with a corner lot in a new subdivision (where everyone needs landscaping). Now I will be shopping and advising others to go to Canadale where they had exceptional service, knowledgeable staff, proper precautions and communicated properly to customers. So much for shopping local.

Very disappointed in my first visit to the ice cream stand. Been going there for years. A large cup at $5 for two scoops certainly wasn’t value for money. The scoops were scrawny at best. Not up to their previous standards.

Customer service was very poor with the owner having a horrible attitude. I bought some sod and noticed it was quite hot when i rolled it out. I week later and 60% appears healthy but some complete pieces and some partial pieces died. I called and was told the sod was fresh cut that morning, that no one else complained and that it was my problem - not hers. She seemed to not care that one 1/2 pallet of sod was infested with larvae and ants (not something that happens in a couple of hours). She offered no help. All I can do is write a review.
