This is a upscale place and thats ok - it has a lot of amazing plants trees and shrubs. Staff are quite friendly and courteous. I would recommend trying it out. I always say you get what you pay for so some other large retailers offer some plants like annuals but they never seem to impress but from here they're always great and if perennial, enjoy year after year.

It is a beautiful little spot ..well shouldnt say little ...their was a huge area of all just Christmas ornaments and trees. A nice clothing store inside too. Personally I find the prices were a bit high but I did see some deals too.

Nov 24, 2021 This is my first time at the Sunset Nursery. i was totally amazed and loved it! There are many landscaping, planting, interior decorating and other items including a good quality ladies clothing store! WOW. Outstanding store, staff, service and product offering. This business has top end products in the landscaping, plantings, pots etc and interior decorating for all seasons. The Christmas offerings are outstanding. I left the store with many Christmas items and small succulents and a totally amazing Christmas framed picture! I am saying this given I have been to the world's biggest and greatest Christmas store at Frankenmuth, Michigan. This wonderful store is right up there with Christmas stores in Frankenmuth, the Christmas store in Niagara on the Lake and elsewhere. There were so many cut Pine, Cedar and other potted and lose cut offerings for Christmas. Drive up from Eastern Ontario, elsewhere in the Valley and Ottawa. Adjacent is the Hugli's Blueberry Ranch and Country Market with cheeses etc. It is easy to get to Sunset Nursey, take the 417 out of Ottawa and then the TransCanada 17 and then off on Green Wood Road off the 17. Easy. Please patronize the small businesses out there, they are the rock that keeps our society going. What a total pleasure and it made my day. Keep well everyone.

Over price first of all, bought two Japanese maple trees one took the other did not and was never explained that there was a warranty on them. Never took my info so they could be tracked. Was passed off only to reexspained everything all over again only to not honor anything. What a joke!!!

Poor selection for bonsai trees and other exotic plants and VERY poor customer service by the owner himself! He was very rude , and did not even try to help me . I always buy plants , I have a great bonsai collection that always requires care , I absolutely love them and I will not be buying ANYTHING here .
