I gotta say I’ve Been there 2 times since they opened I had there brisket sandwich which was good and the second time I had the 1\2 pound burger and words can’t describe how good it was it’s so darn big too and there 5 cheese poutine is better than any other poutine I’ve ever had there corn bread is really buttery and delicious and the staff is so darn nice they put so much work into making your food and I am very thankful for those guys they are awesome the restraunt and staff are way better Than McDonald’s.if it weren’t so expensive I’d go there all the time that’s the only complaint I have but it is new so it makes sense still a very great restraunt. When I got there again I’ll have too try there ribs

There was a price difference between the menu and my bill( not the first time it happend to me here) the girl who presented herself as the owner said that the lime prices increased so that explains so price difference and that it was the waitress' responsibility to notify us. She then said that the waitress was gonna pay for the difference to which I said no because it is the restaurants responsibility to update their prices. The waitress gave us a really great service and she has enough on her shoulders she shouldn't be responsible for something the restaurant didn't do. I've never seen that somewhere else, according to the law the sale of a product at a price higher than its advertised price is prohibited.if the owner cannot print new menus I don't think it should be the waitress's responsibility to pay for the difference. After a 20 min argument she ended up refunding me saying the waitress will not pay for it. In conclusion a really great service from the waitress who was joyful and really quick ( we were a table of ten and she managed it really well) , awful one from the owner.

Where do I start? Prices are falsely advertised. Service staff is made to pay for any error out of pocket. I was openly told by the owner that this is their standard practice. The food is passable at best. Extremely shadey business practices and should be investigated by the better business bureau. Save your money and go to the 2 seasons instead.

So I had the fried pickles and the brisket place which were both so good. Perfectly crispy pickles and melt in your mouth brisket. And I can't forget the Moist fluffy cornbread! This being said the real star for me was carl and his flawless cocktails. I was honestly so pleasantly surprised, I'll be honest I'm a tough customer for drinks i usually never order them because they aren't to my liking well these were all perfectly balanced and delicious! Thanks to the whole team for making a great night!

Baba Q's has the best quality of food out of any restaurant in town with many option's always extra option's on the chef's choice menu which always has a fantastic selection. I have been going here since they first opened and between the food and the service this place is always a first choice for me when eating out and don't forget to try the drink's that they have also as they have the best bartender's in town who know how to mix a proper drink that you will for sure not be disappointed about. I like everything that I have tried here so far but my favorites got to be the smoked stuffed burger, the ribs, poutine, chicken wings, fried chicken and recently they have been trying out pizza and it is one of the best pizza's I have ever had with options of pulled pork or brisket as meat toppings and freshly made dough that will have you wanting more after each slice.

Wow is all I can say. Me and my wife went for our annavasery meal. Service was friendly Speed was fast Meal was spectacular We splurged and had the 1/2 rack ribs meal And 20oz steak. It was well worth the value even though it cost 120.00 Would highly recommend this location to family and/or friends.

This place is absolutely stunning ! The owners are proud of their food with reasons, their is nothing on this menu that I wouldn’t eat ! I saw a review made by Amandine down below and it made me sick in my stomach! How dishonest is this so I will take the stand for her , she probably mean that she’s just a little girl that won’t miss any opportunity to be offended just about anything! I am from Edmonton, and the price there are fair and even cheaper then any city restaurants I have been ! I am also the owner of egogreenbikes.com and cause of COVID my delivery and freight fees went up 40% , so I totally understand where the owner come from , it’s a isolated city where everything is more expensive to get ! Thank you to Baba Q’s for delivering the best meat and not lowering their standards due to COVID ! I eat there everyday and I will recommend this restaurant to anyone! It’s local , family owned and incredibly delicious, don’t let this Karen’s (amandine) ruining ur experience;)

My favorite place to eat while in lab west. Staff are always friendly, the food is the best in town and always made fresh to order. Portions are big, which is reflected in the prices but you definitely get your money worth and will never leave hungry

This place has got to be one of the best places for food and service!! As a visitor to this beautiful city and someone who has travel a little bit internationally, this place is up there with food and service! I was in town for work for four nights, first night we came here, second night we came here and loved it. Each time we were really pleased. Third night we said (there were four of us), lets try somewhere else, we have to mix it up…. We went down the road a little (hundred meters), sat down waited five minutes and still nobody came to wait on us, no one ask us for drinks, nothing!… so we packed up and went back here (no one even noticed we left the last place, we were the only ones in there besides one other couple!!). As a nominated driver, I didn’t have any alcohol and was happy with a diet coke, the waiter offered to make me a non-alcoholic cocktail (after four nights we started to get to know him!). I said no they are too sweet, he said let me make you a special one. He put through the order on his ipad and the other waiter had made the cocktail and brought it to me, the waiter who took the order asked me how it was… I said too sweet, he said, sorry the other waiter was to quick!! He made me another, it was awesome an on the house! Great place great service, great food!!

This place is on point. We eat here a few times a month, and I have never had a bad meal. The atmosphere is great, the food is well portioned and prepared. The staff are present but not invasive. The owners are always present, and involved in the day to day operations. You can tell there is pride in what they do. This place costs a bit more than other places in town, but you get what you pay for. The meals and the service are just better than other places in town.

Fantastic! My husband ordered the brisquett sandwich and I had the special smoked stuffed burger. Omg it was delicious. The fries had this amazing seasoning on them too. We drove out here from BC and we passed through a lot of remote areas with very scant offerings in terms of good food so this place was really an oasis. everything is home made down to the sauerkraut and the salad dressing. The staff is friendly. The owner is a character. The music was excellent. And of course the food was great!

I was not impressed with this place. First of all it was difficult at best trying to communicate with the waitress. Then I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad, and she took my order, only to return and ask if I wanted boiled chicken. Who eats boiled grilled chicken for a Caesar salad? Also, many.items that they serve are not on the menu. I just got up and left without ordering.
