The staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. We went to their garden centre and ordered items for delivery. We placed an order for a single 30 gallon MicroHabitat growing pot, but due to an error (brought to their notice) received two 20 gallon ones instead, with additional soil to boot, without additional charges. 5 stars for the great service!

A great gem out here in the Lasalle/Verdun area. It's got a great community feel and friendly, helpful staff. Everything they offer is edible and organic; something that the big hardware type stores cannot claim. They offer some landscaping services but most of all they can help set up a garden for you for those who are new to the gardening scene, to just providing/selling plants if you are a DIYer. They offer workshops as well.

While gardening is their specialty, we also had some landscaping done with Urban Seedling (tree removal, terrain leveling and new grass). The work was done as promised, and I don't think our yard has ever seen grass so full and green as what they put in. They are more than just expert gardeners; definitely on our landscaper list too.

I met Tereska while doing some volunteer work (garden and plant related) in Verdun Quebec during the summer of 2016. Tereska was also doing volunteer work. Tereska is a wonderful human being, a quality person, and a person who knows a heck of a lot about plants and gardening. I am also the guy from C4CCS and Tereska and Shawn / Urban Seedling are clients that C4CCS serves. C4CCS collects unwanted bottles and cans from individuals, businesses and organizations who care about being eco-conscious ergo mother earth. Urban Seedling cares about our environment. We have a property between two of the busiest streets in Montreal which fortunately has a south facing backyard with lots of sun. After years of trying to cultivate vegetables without much success we discovered Urban Seedling and had them renovate the garden with new boxes, proper vine supports, good soil, organic fertilizer, appropriate plant selection and automatic irrigation. We were overwhelmed with the productivity of the new garden. We had to give away many pounds of lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, broccoli, arugula, chard, kale, edible flowers, herbs and ground cherries. See the photos. Urban Seedling does everything except weed, trim the vines and keep the insects in check. They give you lots of information how how to do these tasks with regular emails. We also planted pear, plum and cherry trees and raspberry and blueberry bushes which should start producing next year. Keep posted.

Urban Seedling is amazing and you should hire them immediately. Trevor and his crew did an excellent job at our place. They completely transformed our outdoor space -- what started as a tangle of crazy is now a gorgeously green outdoor space that provides us with food (we have raspberries, lettuce, bok choy...). They're organized, incredibly knowledgeable, and thoughtful and careful in their work. Did I mention that Trevor created an enchanted forest in the backyard for our three-year old? This is *definitely* a company you want to work with.
