My husband and I went Saturday to look at so we went in and followed the protocol. We saw another couple in there so assumed it is okay for both of us. When we were approached the younger girl serving us was asking to help us when the one lady stated only one person per household, then I said well what about the couple ahead of us, the other person was helping, she stated to me she wasn't paying attention. Really, you don't communicate among yourselves but select who you wish to serve????. Did not feel comfortable or welcomed in this place. Good luck in your future!

He was so helpful and friendly and knowledgeable that I will keep going back there despite the construction on Hayward. With the Ontario stay at home' order in place, ordering over the phone or online can feel life such a feat and Oh my stars was it ever easy and pleasant with these guys. From ordering to the delivery was such a breeze and the lady on the phone and the gentleman that delivered my order were so nice and helpful!!! I would absolutely recommend all my friends!

This place is fantastic! Ginette was super helpful and calmed me down when I was overwhelmed with a project I thought needed to be in full completion before winter. She helped me make a smart decision, and provided a cheap solution for the winter, so I could take the time with the brochures she provided and settle on a permanent solution in the spring. The yard staff were also great in helping me load the product I did purchase into my car. I'll definitely be back in the spring to complete my project!

Always a good experience, just as a regular walk-in buying small quantities but they're fast and helpful. Can get down to the 1/4 yard of aggregates, better prices compared to buying anything like mulch or soil at the big box stores. They also let me buy a full yard of something but take half of it at a time to fit in my small utility trailer and will load it up each time. Just an all around good place to shop! And no problems with Covid and their showroom whatsoever like the other couple recent reviews.

Stood outside trying to contact someone /anyone from the number they have posted , but nobody EVER answered , only a useless machine ! Even the two outside worker wouldn't assist anyone . There were others trying to do the same as myself. A lady finally came out of the building but only to speak to a fell in a truck . She basically ignored the rest of us ! I did finally get her attention but only to be told they were only working sales for contractors. Total waste of time driving there from Cambridge. As well a contractor from Cambridge Hespeler told me he felt the same . Piss poor customer service . Much better off to travel further to get somewhere else . Very disappointed!!

Horrible experience "trying" to buy stone. First off the guy in the showroom yelled at the customers in the showroom because there was too many people in the store. There was six people but, apparently, there was only supposed to be four. There was no signage indicating this. I was given a quote for some interlocking stone I was interested in. I went home and figured out my quantities based on a catalog that was given to me and came back to purchase. Disappointingly I had to buy the stone in random layers, but I was not informed of this during the quote. I was only then given the proper spec sheet at that point. What a waste of time. This poor service lost a paying customer.

I've made several purchases at Grand River Natural Stone. The outside staff are great but the vibe from the inside is weird. I placed an $800 order in October and they were not knowledgeable about the product and the service level made me feel like they could care less if ordered or not. I recently tried to place another $900 order and they never called me back so I put the order through Creative Landscaping Depot in St. Jacobs.

I have had quite the ordeal with a simple shipment. Requesting two yards of topsoil and a yard of mulch seemed simple enough. My whole project being on a tight timeline was complicated by the fact the truck broke down. This occurred after a shipment of Limestone was mistakenly delivered to my house, which I did not order. The following day when my actual products were to be delivered, the truck delivered the wrong colour of mulch. Now I await a response, another day of my project wasted. I’m previous dealings I have found the staff both helpful and kind, but this has been a series of very unfortunate events.

We are very pleased with Grand River Natural Stone's customer service and attention to detail. My husband & I have gone to the storefront once a month since June as we needed more info for our patio project. We visited other stores, but it was clear we would be buying from Grand River Natural Stone with how poor customer service was elsewhere. Every time we went in, the staff (always someone different) gave us great info, resources, and were extremely patient. We went in this morning expecting to be told that not very much stock was available but to our pleasant surprise Lauren worked with us looking up what stock they had and what could be ordered. we ended up getting just what we wanted with little fuss and a big smile. I've just completed a massive interlock stair project, and cannot speak highly enough about Grand River Natural Stone. They went above and beyond my expectations. In April, I approached Kevin with my drawings and ideas, and he problem solved with me - suggesting various stone and pavers that would enable the curved, aesthetic look I was looking for in the over ten metres of steps. Stephanie and Lea were also very helpful, on the numerous mornings I'd purchase additional gravel, and mulch to complete the project. The onsite workers were willing to lift and scoop materials - Gord, Jim and Devon. Good luck at college, Devon! The drivers were clear communicators, calling ahead and placing the materials where needed. Prices were very reasonable. All in all, the Hayward Ave. people have my business for years to come.

Everyone was nice up until delivery. Misleading info just to get your business.I informed them about the issue and was told on April 21 that branch manager will resolve it. Guess what....that manager didn't even bother to contact me even after I sent another email....poor customer service.
