The Northwest Gardener gave our church property a very fair bid for a complete cleanup of the grounds which had not been maintained for a couple of years. They did an amazing job, completed it on time and the crew was very polite, clean and professional. The work they did was excellent and they went over and above what we had expected. We could not believe what a difference they made. We've had so many compliments on their work. We are already planning on using them again in the fall for moving many large rhododendrons to a more appropriate area and replanting the beds with new shrubs and flowers. Thank you Northwest Gardener for such great customer service and amazing work!

The Northwest Gardener crew just finished a large job at my new home - installing new planting beds, cleaning up stumps and silal, changing some lawn grades, fine-tuning existing irrigation, and reseeding. I was very pleased with their prices, responsiveness, attention to detail, and quality. Also, all of their staff were pleasant to deal with. I will use them again.

Amazing work on my terrible front yard. They worked tirelessly on some very rainy days to get my front yard done. The work was amazing and completely transformed my yard. Very professional and easy to work with. I'll have them back in the spring to help fix my grass!

DO NOT HIRE!!!!!! They are massive air polluters with no respect for the communities they send their workers to. You'd be much better off doing business with eco-friendly gardeners that do not rely on gasoline for every little job. I have had to endure one employee lazily running equipment on the same little hedge for half an hour, when anyone with a set of hedge trimmers could have done the work in a fraction of the time.

One & Done Was shopping around for quotes. Got in contact with Doug, last week. He came over, we did a walk around, and was told he'd get back with me. It's been almost a week, and haven't heard a thing. Needless to say...I went elsewhere.

We have been using NW Gardener for a little over a year now and have never been more impressed. They have completed two landscaping projects for us (installing flowers and shrubs & then a separate project of creating a border around back yard). Both projects were done in a timely and professional manner. This is also our second year of using them for our fertilizer and weed control needs so we don't have to store fertilizer in our garage. They have an annual program that takes all the guess work out of things. Our lawn has never looked so good.They have also mulched both front and back yard two years in a row. And apparently work some kind of magic because I have a plant flowering that hasn't flowered in 4 years! Hunter and Kyle are very responsive to questions and are always looking to make any adjustments needed to an already completed project. It is very hard to find reliable companies these days but this for sure one. Thank you NW Gardener for being amazing and helping our yard look great.

I started using The NorthWest Gardner about a year and a half ago. I had bought a home in Washington and was having problems trying to locate a irrigation valve box underground. I called these guys after two failed attempts with other landscape people. They came out and within 10 minutes or less they located the irrigation box! A few weeks later, my control box in my garage had seen its last days. I called these guys and very quickly they were out. Kyle installed a new irrigation control box swiftly and it’s very easy to use! ???? Through my conversation with these guys I learned that they do hard scape landscape. I told them that I would like to get a bid on replacing my old patio with pavers. Within a few days, Doug, the owner, showed up and we discussed options and came up with a plan. I did get several bids from other companies on what I wanted to do, but, I like these guys and their quote. Since my project was extensive we needed to schedule it so that it didn’t interrupt their other work flow. Once they started, they wanted to stay with the project until it was completed. They removed my old patio, the steps and grass. They hauled in a ton of dirt and leveled everything before the pavers were placed. Kyle, worked endlessly to cut and place all the pavers, and he did a stellar job! I liked it so much, that I decided for them to do a path around my house. My neighbors and friends have given me numerous compliments on my new backyard. And, kudos to Doug, for taking on a little side project for me for something he does not normally do. We incorporated a cute little tool shed that matches my house perfectly. Recently, I had some issues with sprinkler water hitting my windows. I tried to adjust the sprinkler heads myself but it was a failed attempt on my part. Of course, I then called the Northwest Gardner. Within a few short hours, there was Doug adjusting the sprinklers! Something else he doesn’t normally do. I’ve never written a review before, and know this is lengthy, however, I feel, this company strives for excellent customer satisfaction and they actually deserve 10 stars! Colleen Nuttbrock

The Northwest Gardener did a complete make-over of our backyard. We couldn’t be happier with the results. After discussing our wants, Doug redesigned our backyard. With his expertise and knowledge, he presented us with a plan. The end results were amazing. It included: removing existing grass, building a retaining wall, leveling the area, installing a new irrigation system, new plants and transplanting some existing plants, new sod, and a new fence. The whole crew was great and Kyle had an excellent eye for placing plants, rocks, and the pathway. The whole team was timely, pleasant to work with, always stopped to talk with us whenever we had questions and the area was cleaned up at the end of every day. They just finished a total make-over of our landscaping. Our old lawn was muddy in the spring and hard and dried out in the summer. Many of the trees and shrubs had overgrown in the past 20 years so it was time. They came in and removed the old sod and several of the overgrown trees and shrubs. They brought in new top soil and mixed in a lot of gravel and then laid new sod. They planted some new shrubs and replanted some other plants taken out during the process. They also installed new pavers in our driveway. The process was painless and throughout Kyle always asked if we were satisfied and if there was anything else we wanted. Would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family. I am a retired General Contractor and am not easily pleased.

We have used the Northwest Gardener for several years for rental properties and have always been impressed with their work. Their prices are reasonable and the jobs have always been completed on time with amazing results. In fact, we were so happy with them that we used them to redo a flagstone walkway at our own home. The results are beautiful with an artistically designed pathway that is level, functional and a major improvement over what we had. We love dealing with a company that is honest, professional and treats people right!
