I am not a stickler for customer service: just be semi-attentive; smile, make eye contact, eventually ask me if I need anything. Went looking for some advice on growing tomatoes. It wasn't even that busy when I was there on Friday afternoon. It was like I was invisible. T & T Seeds is well deserving of the one star I've given them. If I'd known in advance I'd receive such abhorrent customer service, I wouldn't have wasted the time or the gas trucking so far away from home: I would have just gone to Rona.

Really nice to see a garden center taking social distancing very seriously. Kudos to whoever set that up. We were there on the Sunday after the May long weekend. We only waited a couple of minutes to get in. There were multiple signs asking people to socially distance. Isles were setup as one way. As for stock, it was what you'd expect the weekend after May long. Having said that we were able to pick up some nice annuals and herbs. Unfortunately they were out of some stock and equipment but again, to be expected the weekend after May long. Prices were good in general and you didn't end up paying a premium for the name of the garden center.

Great selection of seedlings for a late start to the season. Only down side is they seem to be perpetually understaffed so the check out line can take a little time on the weekend. BUT they have a big selection and great prices, they are my go-to.

Well laid out smaller shop with excellent selection of seeds, soil testing materials, garden decor, indoor growing kits, and connected to greenhouses with a nice selection of plants, shrubs and trees. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Close to Crampton’s Farmer’s Market and Shelmerdines greenhouse as well! Definitely coming back here. A must-visit for gardeners!

This spring 2017 I set up my fountain bird bath that...it's 3rd summer and which I bought at an end of season sale...regular $150. On setting it up, I noticed paint peeling and started to brush it off. Not only was the paint peeling but slabs of the bath were coming off on the edges and underside. Now i realize why it appeared to not hold water last year...there was a slow leak. I called the store and they basically told me they can't do anything to rectify the problem because the climate is harsh and thats what happens. Be wary of their bird baths that look like concrete but are obviously not...I won't be dealing with this company again. Poor customer service will likely draw customers down the road.

Over priced materials wow. I waited a few mins for material and thought about the price of $90 for. Yard and a half of soil. I went back in and got a refund. Funny story, they don't accept cash however wanted to give my a refund work cash..they couldn't give me a refund on my card. Needless to say, that was the last time my company or I will spend a dime there u less they figure out their ridiculous prices

If you want to go up and above to be covid safe then shop here. Wait in line and walk into a store with hardly any people in it. Of course the service is good once you inside because it looks dead inside but you'll need patients beforehand. No call in orders allowed like previous years.

Visited the shop today with a friend, a large collection of vegetable seeds, flower seeds, perennials, gardening accessories, home accessories and many more. It's always nice to spend some time there buying seeds and checking their catalog. The sales lady was friendly and polite. This was my second visit and sure I'll be coming back again.

Was in to pick up our prepaid bulbs. Given a green sheet with instructions to pickup on April to May. Went April 9, asked if we were called and said no. Following instructions on sheet and says no calls as too many orders. Then told we were supposed to call first. Apparently non personal staff should read the sheet handed out as no request or direction to call. The wait is quite a pain as well.

Terrible experience!! If you go there, you will be forced to let them put chemical hand sanitizer on your hands. If you exercise your right to decide what goes on your personal body and decline the chemical you are treated very rudely and kicked out of the store. They do not offer you gloves or any other option but dosing your hands in chemical or GET OUT! Their sign out front says nothing at all about hand sanitizer being a stipulation. Through all this covid19, I have never had a store infringe on my rights to my personal body and what goes on or in it and I'm not about to start now. I will never go back! The only reason they even get one star is because they force you to in order to allow you to post a review.

When I asked where the herbs were and certain plants in particular, the staff member waved her hand vaguely to the left saying over there and when I started to head that way I was berated and told I was going in all the wrong directions and I needed to leave. Confused, because I was not receiving any help at all, I complied went next door and purchased $200 worth of plants.

I ordered 4 trees online and had them shipped to my house, upon arrival one was broken in half and the second was damaged but not quite severed through , I emailed T & T and stated the issue, they replied within the hour stating they resent me the trees. This service was amazing, I was willing to drive to their store to return the broken trees and pick up the new ones but the lady stated they had already sent me the trees and all was good. This was the best customer service as i had paid aa fair price for the trees. Thank you T &T and I will definitely use you again after how well you dealt with the situation ! 5 star customer service.

Maybe you could find lower if you really wanted to go looking, but the service, selection and quality of what they sell means I'm never going to have to go back out to replace something I could have just bought here in the first place.

I put our order in back in February, before COVID. We where not given tracking and your order got lost in the mail. We are getting late to be planting, spring rains are almost over. I hope that we get the second order timely so things will have a little time to take root. If I was to do it again, I wouldn't, Ill be finding local suppliers in the future. Ill pay more but in the long run, the plants will make it, this is the second time my order has come late from T&T. They are very nice but nice does not save my trees or feed my family.

Never had a problem with T&T before untill we received our trees this year. They were so dry and in poor condition. We still planted them following the same planting instructions. We are not new to planting and this is not what we expect with the amount of money we paid. Alberta has short growing season, save your time and effort and check with your local stores. Will not recommend trees and shrub but their seeds has high germination rate. More disappointed on how customer service handle the situation. She said they all look alive to her.

T & T needs to pick up their business practice. Before Covid, I had a similar experience. After waiting on hold for an extended period of time, the call was disconnected following a messages stating that due to the high volume of calls, mine could not be answered. Then, after speaking with an employee about when to expect my order, placed online (not user friendly), it did not arrive for 3+ weeks and after numerous visits to the post office. Subsequent phone calls, on hold, I was able to get to speak to a person and it was discovered my order had been 'lost in the system' and the date it had been shipped that had been shared to me referred to the previous year's order. The seeds were great; their operations is SADLY LACKING.

The seeds are very good and I always have had really high germination rates. The store is no better or worse than other garden centres. Service is inconsistent. Online is a disaster and their “customer service” is just excuses. I placed an order for perishables in Jan for pick up later in season (rather than shipping as I live near). Confirmation stated I would be contacted via email. Their website has continually been updated with how busy they are / Covid etc. so I’ve been patiently waiting my turn. It’s end of May so I contacted them. Was told that they can’t possibly contact 2,000 people (presumably that’s how many other pick up orders they had? - I don’t know). Then why was that the direction in their confirmation email? Apparently pickups started in April and I should have somehow known or sensed this. Even now there is no direction/fix. Certainly no hint of apology. This business has a old loyal following so it seems to me they don’t care much about customer service. I’m glad business is good. I won’t feel badly minimizing my future purchases. Based on my experience: to get service here ignore their website site asking not to call etc. or direction given in order confirmation. Be a squeaky wheel; call, email and insist. I had asked for a refund 2 weeks back. Still waiting. Update: finally got a refund after letting them know I had enough waiting and was contacting credit card company to reverse the charge. Squeaky wheel got the grease.

Terrible customer service with lack of empathy or care for their clients! I have been a client of theirs for years and I will never order anything with them since this last experience. I called in on June 22 before I placed an online order for fertilizer and seaweed and asked the person on the phone if they could verify stock of the product before I ordered as I needed it as soon as possible since I received trees from them that were dying due to the shipping delay of those items. I was put on a brief hold and then told it was in stock and would ship out within the next day or two so I proceeded to order. After not receiving any shipping information by email after 4 business days I sent an email asking where it was. The next day (June 27th) I received a response stating that they were waiting for their supply to arrive and the order should be shipped on Monday June 29th. I responded stating I was disappointed to hear this since it was confirmed they had stock. Monday, June 29th Jacquelyn Sykes sent an email apologizing and stated "Your order will be in the mail today". So, how could I misunderstand "Your order will be in the mail today"? Thursday, July 2nd - sent an email asking about tracking information since I had not received a shipping notice. Friday, July 3rd I called in and spoke with the person that stated she was filling in for Jacquelyn Sykes and I told her the series of events. "I am sorry you are disappointed" is the non-apology I was given. I stated that I wanted my order canceled and my money refunded. That would be done. I asked if there was any manager or owner than I could speak to regarding this and she said that she was a manager. I asked why there could not have been any update sent to me stating the item was not in stock? Why was I told it was on the way. "Well with the borders being closed due to COVID-19 we don't know when some products will arrive" and "our staff could have checked if it was in the front store at the time of the call, but then it was gone when we processed the order" were explanations I was given for this fiasco." I told her that this was a ridiculous response given the email correspondence I had with them and stated that they should do better. "I'm sorry you feel that way, have a good day" was the response I received. I cannot believe that after all of the calls and emails this was the best customer service T & T Seeds could provide. Never once did the manager apologize for the mistake or misleading communication. The item is still available for purchase online and does not say "out of stock". Use whatever excuse you want - border problems, COVID-19, reduced staffing, etc., in the end the problem is with basic, respectful customer service. Never again!

During these covid times the store was perfectly set up for everyone to stay safe. What I didn't appreciate was being the only couple in the store and being followed by one of the workers for no reason. A woman came rushing in as we were about halfway through the greenhouse.... blew past us avoiding all rules.... then stopped in front of us so we couldn't continue. The worker never said a word to her but continued to follow us till we got to the check stand. It gave me such a bad feeling I don't think I will go back. If your going to follow your customers like their criminals then you should follow all of them not just some.

In store shopping may be a better experience but as far as online I just cant recommend. I've ordered the perishable plants over quite a few years and have found that they just don't have the vigor to survive and tend to arrive in poor condition, such as my last order just received a few days ago. Probably would not be as big a deal if I could just return and get a refund but I have to ship back to the store at my own expense and I don't have the luxury of any discount shipping deals. Guess I take my loss and will have to find a new supplier. I've had no issues with the packaged seeds just the perishable live plants.
