I visited Plant Momma at her new location on Arlington and Stella. There was a fantastic variety of tropical houseplants inside the shop. There were ZZs, monsteras, snake plants, pothos, peperomias, succulents, cacti, air plants, palms, and much more. I loved browsing around and found a plant that was on my wish list, for cheaper than I had seen it elsewhere. The plants were fairly priced and they looked healthy and mature. Credit cards and debit were taken as payment. Would highly recommend checking this place out if you love houseplants!

Lots of selection. Very friendly staff/owners. Beautiful plants! Was a bit crowded, which is difficult in covid times. Not everything was labeled clearly. I found 4 plants from my wishlist though and came home with an extra bonsai as well. Looking forward to going back for more.

I hate writing bad reviews, especially for locally owned business', but I was really disappointed in Plant Momma. I placed an order 3 days in advance, and gave an hour notice prior to my arrival to ensure they had time to prepare the order. Though their address is listed on Stella, they prefer that you park on Arlington. When I got to the right spot, I noticed another person waiting at the front door so I followed suit. After waiting outside for 5 minutes, she came to the door and chastised me for getting out of the car but said nothing to the other lady. I waited in my car for 25 minutes for my order as she talked to the other person in the doorway, who she appeared to know, and completely ignored me waiting for my stuff. I called again at the 25 minute mark (no answer) so I just drove away. They didn't even call or message me back! I drove straight to Eduards Greenery who is always so happy to help.

This place is absolutely beautiful and the ladies in there were so helpful and sweet. So reasonably priced and a huge variety of fun plants. Will forsure be going back here for all of my plants in the future.

Lots of selection For the most part plants are reasonably priced. There were 3 women working in the store, none of them asked if I needed help or was looking for a specific plant. They would answer one question then disappear. Being that there are so many plants , signs would be helpful e.g.cactus, 10" pots, flowering plants etc AS well providing a basket or small cart to shop with would be most helpful. They excel in selection but IMO not customer service.

Great variety and prices! I highly recommend checking out this place if you're just starting out, or even for those who collects plants as a hobby. They've been getting exotic plants in, which I am so happy about. Make sure to inspect your new plant though (as you should anyways whenever you get new plants) as sometimes, pesky bugs can go with you.

This place has a large collection of tropical plants, succulents, and cacti. I love cacti, which are hard to find in Winnipeg, and I can find a variety of cacti here. They are in great shape; some are close to bloom.

I really want to give plant momma a good review. The atmosphere of the shop is great and the pots/plant stands/plants are all very reasonably priced. I was also helped out to my car, as I had quite a few things! The service was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, both plants that I purchased we're extremely unhealthy and had been overwatered. The fiddle leaf fig is still alive, but I'm still trying to save it from a bad case of root rot. The plant seemed fine on purchase but a few days later the brown spots appeared on the leaves. The string of pearls was waterlogged and infested with insects. When I purchased the plant I was told not to water them for two weeks as they had just been watered, I left them for two weeks and discovered the issues after that. I called the store and was told that because their return policy was only one week I would not be able to bring them back. I was also told that there was no chance that the plants had been overwatered. I would recommend this place to purchase pots and plant stands, I would suggest that buyers carefully inspect they're plants before purchase to make sure they aren't overwatered/infested with insects. Also be aware that the return policy is one week only, and they will not accept the plants back if you return them to the store without covering them.

Great store with an awesome selection of succulents. After visiting a bunch of plant stores around the city, I was finally able to find my wishlist plants in a small section of the store! Bear paws(variegated nonetheless), a haworthia cooperi and variegated string of pearls!! I love that they have more than the generic succulent types. Will definitely be coming back if they continue stocking different and interesting kinds :)

A wonderful store if you want to see a variety of houseplants--lots of aroids, snake plants, palms, succulents, cacti, and is probably the best local source for rarer Hoya varieties. I've made two visits and I'm sure there will be more in my future. They seem responsive to customers' concerns--recently making a change in how they pot up their Hoya plants after listening to several knowledgeable growers. In short, what's not to like? The entrance is a bit confusing to find on first visit as it's on the Arlington side, but the address is on Stella. Friendly staff, and a loyalty card reward program are a couple of good customer service features.

A lot of variety to choose from. I understand it’s an independent business but it’s very expensive. I noticed plants to be double to triple the price as the big box stores. I understand it’s expensive to run a business but I won’t be going back due to the cost.

Has a good layout and lots of variety..plants were more expensive than most other greenhouses I've been to however and while I bought my plants the owner was talking full blast on the phone...and gave very vague answers(between phone call) to my questions..so i guess I will Google how to take care of them

Lovely selection and fair prices! I love my ZZ plant that I bought. I love that masks were mandatory and arrows were easy to follow. Staff were so friendly. My only suggestion would be that some items didn’t have price tags which would have made things easier (like the cactuses and small snake plants when I went). Overall, Can’t wait to go back!
