I ordered a few cacti and a string of pearls plant from them recently. I received 5 healthy, good-sized plants. Although they were all in 2"-3" pots, the string of pearls was bushy and already starting to trail and 2 of the cacti were perfect with new growth coming in. After a few days, I decided that I wasn't happy with the other 2 cacti I purchased so I emailed them about their return/exchange policy. They don't normally offer returns/exchanges but they were accommodating and made a one time exception. Ultimately I decided to keep the plants. I would definitely purchase from them again in the future - but I'd probably make the trip to their showroom to pick out the plants next time. :)

Gem’s Plant Design is Winnipegs best kept succulent secret. Good selection great prices and well kept plants. Plants arrived in great condition and very quickly! They delivered to me the next day! I was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely recommend these to anyone I know who is interested in succulents! I will definitely order from here again! One thing I do have a bit of a problem with is when you are scrolling through succulents you keep having to press “load more” to look through them all and if you click on one to read the description and you go back it takes you right back to the top of the list. Then you have to go through them all over again. Maybe they can fix this one day ????

Great variety, lots of options to obtain your plants of choice (curbside pickup, delivery, etc) such friendly people work here/own this business!! Prices are also fair, responds quickly. Since I found Gem I have gave up on ordering from out East or from BC, it’s just not worth it, plus she is just a joy to deal with! I have bought from at least 20 different stores online & from my experience from stores like cafeteria & greens, Sellers are not too honest about their products, nor do they really care what they sell. But….Gem really does care! Gem not only cares about her products & how absolutely perfect they are each & every time, but she cares about how my day is going, & everything she has done by delivering different places, holding onto for long periods of time, her customer service has just made life easier! I really wish they had more plants though…we need more shops like Gems!

Shortly after you're online purchase they contact you via email to set up a delivery time. Spend $25 and get free delivery within Winnipeg. I used Gem's Plant Design to send a housewarming gift. I love the idea of sending living plants instead of flowers that will wilt in a few days. At the same time, I wanted something that would be easy to take care of. I contacted Gem via email, and everything was arranged and paid for online. The website's galley provided a very good idea of what was offered. I provided some general ideas and was sent several photos of the final terrarium. I couldn't be happier with the result. The terrarium arrived exactly like the photos, and with very fast delivery.

Since I ordered a number of bags of soil, the staff were good enough to contact me the day of my order and ask if it would be better to get a few larger bags instead of many smaller bags.
