Boyfriend bought the "sauerkraut perogies" and was told that they were freshly made but recently put in the freezer..Cooked them and they were freezer burnt and the sauerkraut was DARK brown. Obviously they have been in there for a long time. I do not recommend.

Great place in the summer for fresh veggies. Have an assortment of jams, canned foods, baked goods, etc. pumpkins and squash in the late summer. Bedding plants and garden plants in the spring.

Always an excellent shopping experience. You can tell when you enter the cozy yet quaint building that locals love it. Always full.of customers with friendly helping staff and great fresh produce. One knows fall is upon us when the sign for closure is placed out for Oct 31st. Always a sad feeling knowing we will have to wait till the following spring to experience this valuable shop once again.

Went there for honey. They have a good variety of non-pasteurized natural honey in great containers and different sizes. Liquid and creamed honey. I bought 2 large containers, one of the creamed and one liquid. They came in very attractive jars that you could use later for various things like candies, nuts etc. Prices were competitive. Glad I stopped in there to take a look. I will be back!

These are honest hard working people and they have wonderful produce like a mini farmers market when open for season along with some surprising extras like dairy free goods like sour cream to go with perogies, various specialty jams/jellies and balsamic vinegar flavors, fresh baked goods like bread and fruit pies, etc. Love picking up some veggies and herbs like rosemary to make a fresh healthy meal at home. Also they have items to help your own home garden. ???????? During Christmas season they have trees and decorations too! ????

Love this little market! They have tons of local products and I always get my plants there for the garden. Personally the thing I love the most is that they switch over in July to selling fresh local produce. And I should mention the staff are very helpful and give great customer service.

Petrosko Brothers had been a family garden goto place for us for years. They stock a great variety of seeds, seedlings, plants, fruit and veg, and Christmas trees (depending on the season). They also carry locally made frozen perogies, spring rolls and pickerel. Go early on the weekends. The parking lot is packed in summer with people buying excellent locally grown vegetables, berries and herbs .

A change of name last year from Petrasko's is the only difference to this well-run, locally-well-stocked market. From free-run eggs @ $3.99 dozen and Notre Dame du Lourdes butter ($6/pound & worth every penny) to non-sprayed veggies such as local cocktail & grape tomatoes, and the first crop of local garlic, Country Roots rarely disappoints. The emphasis is on local & fresh. Honey, jams, spring rolls--the summer stock surprises with its variety.
