The young woman who wrote up our order did an excellent job and was friendly and helpful. She printed in perfect penmanship "put the 1/4 down closest to the house then the soil on the right hand side of the driveway - on the driveway/not the yard". Our order was supposed to come Saturday guaranteed. Nope. I called and drove out to the location on Saturday and Sunday and found no one there even though they were supposed to be open. It had drizzled a small part of the day but no reason to close or not deliver. On Monday when I called I got the pleasant young lady who apologized and said she would have it delivered in the truck's next load. We waited 3 hours then left to go to an appointment. Then the driver called while reroute and while we were at the appointment to clarify where we wanted the soil. I explained, "On the concrete on the driveway on the right hand side. Please dont get any on the yard and please drop the 1/4 down closest to the house and the soil closest to the lane." He called back on arrival to our home and I repeated directions and asked very nicely to not get soil on the yard which could crush existing landscaping. We came home to find the 1/4 down in the middle of the yard making a mess of and crushing our wild flower garden and the soil on the right hand side of the driveway but on the yard: burying $200 worth of plants. We chose Chuck's because we believe in shopping local businesses but never again. Stay away from this place if you want a professional product and job.

I have used Chuck's landscaping a few times for different things and they have always delivered efficiently. Customer service on the phone could use some improvement but overall good pricing and quick delivery with friendly, accommodating, and courteous delivery staff.

Last summer we were looking at changing our front yard grass to stone. Asked them for a quote, they came to my property, moved my basketball hoop, started digging into my front yard to do the project - we hadn't even ordered the project yet - because we were just getting quotes - turns out they were at the wrong address. When we told them to stop, they left everything as it was and took off. For two weeks we tried to reach them by phone to talk to the manager/owner - but kept getting stonewalled "he isn't in - he will call you back" but he never did. We showed up a couple of times, but again were told the the manager/owner wasn't there but he would call us - same thing, never heard back. We are stuck with a torn up front yard that we now have to deal with. We used them for years - always good great services, advice at good pricing and I always told people to go there. The staff is nice and helpful but this new owner is unprofessional, gives a friendly sales pitch and promises at first but does not follow-through, and worse does not care if he messes your life up!!! We will never use them again, and now tell people to stay away. There are many other good services out there - find another company!

The boss even hang up my phone after they late for 5 hours. Very very rude after I pay them . This is the worst shop I had ever seen in my whole life. The boss even can not tell me what time they will come just tell me to wait. I have to pay my construction guy wait but don’t know when will they come. Very very rude boss. Worst shop ever.

Chuck’s did an amazing job on our extended pool patio. They went over and above to make sure it was perfect and exactly what we envisioned. Their staff are a pleasure to deal with and hard working. Very poor experience over the phone to order the material. I gave the measurements and was adviced to buy 3 times what I needed. Do not trust their "professional" calculations. Do not let them advice you! The delivery was very good though. Very happy with the delivery person and his professionalism.

Made an appointment for a grading estimate. The person texted last minute to reschedule, so we did for the next day. The next morning, I had to reschedule for family reasons to the next day and was aknoledged. They never showed up and stopped replying to texts and not answering calls.

Placed a delivery for some soil about a week ago. Called day of delivery to see why they were late. Guy on phone said they were out of stock and couldn't deliver until Monday. I called my wife to let her know and we decided to cancel order. Before I could call Chucks Landscaping back to cancel, they called my wife to try and get her credit card number to secure the order under false pretenses. Very shady and subversive business tactics. I would advise caution when dealing with these guys.

The worker is awesome. Too bad he can’t see the bucket on the bobcat. Sometimes it was level and other times it was a little low. Only one time did he give me a bulging scoop. I’ll still go back though.....

Chucks shorted me when i purchased soil from them for my garden boxxes. They have a set volume and when u order enough for extra but their isnt even enought to fill the boxxes id say your short. And not just a yard or 2. Chucks originally was willing to correct their mistake then never sent out the load. Then owner is very rude on phone even hanging up on me and screening the calls. I would never buy soil from them. Thats what you get for trying to support a local business

My husband and I had called here numerous times over the weekend to arrange delivery of quarter down and patio blocks. Was told that they were busy and would call us back to give us a time for delivery. Never heard back so called the next day, same thing. Called back later and said they were done delivering for the day. Waited around a whole weekend for nothing. I also had to haggle for them to honour the prices that were advertised on their website. They didn't seem very professional and I'm sure it was very busy but it just seemed like a gong show. Was able to get fast, friendly service elsewhere. Don't recommend.
