Lovely small town garden center, tucked away down Shanks Rd. Don't let the awful condition of the road deter you. The bumps are worth it! The plants are healthy and the prices aren't bad. It is definitely worth a visit!

I've always had friendly, helpful service. They have a nice variety of plants and merchandise. The farmers market is a great addition! I hope it expands. Lake Country is growing fast and there's room for two.

It's the second time I go there. But unfortunatly, it's the last one. There were only two staff working at the cash register... and thats it. No staff to help people outside with the plants in the peak of the season. I just wanted to buy fabric cloth but asking advice to a rude lady at the cash by making me feel bad that I'm making other people in the line wait makes me uncomftable. I like to spend my money in local businesses, but not with this kind of service. If people go to Home Depot, it's because they have a right amount of staff to help their customers. The two stars go to the nice guy at dirt and rocks section outside who helped us nicely.

Recently called to get some information on ceder hedges and it was by far the most unprofessional phone call ive ever experienced. Upon answering the phone, she listened to the question I had, then proceeded to continue on with the conversation she was having with someone else who was near her, basically disregarding the fact she had a customer on the phone, then when she spoke to me again once she was finished, she started with, well what can I do for you. So I reiterated my question, and she then had to ask someone else all of my questions to get any answers. It's sad, that someone can be so unhelpful, I want to support local, but it's hard when they won't give you the time of day. I was inquiring to make a fairly large purchase, but will not be supporting them what so ever now.

A beautiful greenhouse with a large selection of flowers, plants, bushes and trees as well as pits, statues, garden decor and stuff. It's large but not overwhelming. Staff is helpful.

Great Experience! They greatly helped me when I had a very unfortunate experience with my garden. I bought all my garden plants from Art Naps several weeks earlier, the beets had leaf Miners the onions were contaminated with root maggots. After planting I had some onions left over, in their Art Naps original containers on my garden counter and after a week I saw maggots coming out of the bottoms of the containers. The root maggots destroyed the garden over the next 2 weeks or so. I so I called Art Naps, they didn't care and asked if I had all my receipts, I said I had the bank withdraws, they said "not good enough" and basically hung up. Distressed I called several places no cared, no offered to help, till I called Kel-Lake Greenhouses, they invited me out to Lake Country and spent about an hour with me. We discussed my maple tree and toured some other tree as I looking for one, and I got a real cure for my maggots and a great explanation of how to use everything. A special thanks to the lovely blond older lady she was so nice and kind. The younger blond with the short blond hair at the till was very knowledgeable too. A great afternoon, well spent, thank you!

Please! Do not shop here! They are “too busy” to help you with any questions about their products. We apparently intruded on the work efforts of two women working by asking a question and were met with a rude glance and a hasty “I’m too busy” for that! Went to speak to the cashier who was was friendly and suggested we speak to a supervisor. The supervisor rudely exclaimed how she was also too busy. Apparently nobody has time to offer any kind of customer service. We had to return to the nursery twice for Hostas that were mislabeled, only to be discovered once they were planted and sprouted later. Not their problem apparently! I will gladly drive and wait in line at the Greenery or Better Earth where their staff go out of their way to assist you and make you feel appreciated and helped as a customer.

Love the greenhouse! Awesome plants and like that the perennials are a few years older than other greenhouses, the young perennials have been known to not survive first winter. Staff tries very hard and there’s a few shining stars too. My only critique would be that perhaps More staff to help the front line workers bc at times they are bombarded at the tills and that one person Is being then pulled into 50 different directions Keep up the awesome job Kel Lake ????

We ordered 4 truck loads of dirt and the truck driver got stuck. I called a tow truck and paid $240 to tow the truck out. I called and even went to the nursery to talk to the owner and he disrespectful did not even take the time to talk with me. We have spent thousands of dollars at this nursery and will not spend another. In my opinion there are better and even less expensive nurseries out there. Do some research folks.

While this location has a nice selection, I went there yesterday and had a really bad experience. A dog owned by one of the staff members was being allowed to roam free without any leash. It randomly went up to my husband and bit him in the leg. Luckily he was wearing thick jeans so he wasn't injured badly. But it got worse because when we communicated the safety concern to the staff there was no apology, and the response was that it was a rescue dog. There was no attempt to secure the dog or anything, hence the entire incident was dismissed by staff completely. The reason I'm putting this review up is that I am really concernd about the situation being different, and a child being really injured - and with staff not addressing the matter at all, it is a serious injury waiting to happen.
