We hired Parker to construct our retaining walls (from natural rock and Allan block), and lay pavers in the fall of 2019. It turned out that Parker subcontracted the pavers and allan block installation to another company. When most of the walls were completed we discovered that his laying technique was amateur and unprofessional. The gaps between the big rocks were filled with tiny rocks (2-3" in size) which are too small for the gaps and so barely held in place. The walls also look unproportional and unbalanced. According to Parker the capping pieces on the rock walls are supposed to be glued but due to the weather getting cold he promised to come back in the Spring of 2020 to finish the job. He has still failed to do so despite multiple requests. He was paid out in full and promised to provide warranty for this work. Come spring the pavers settled down in multiple areas and are now sagging. The rock walls are all falling apart. This was communicated to Parker. Despite multiple discussions with Parker, including on-site visits, he never came back to repair his work - he has only repeatedly replied ‘Yes, I’ll come in a week, “I’ll come in a month,”… etc. We have been waiting for Parker for over a year now to complete the job and repair the areas of concern.
