I am impressed with the removal of our two maple trees and the stumps and roots which were huge, The young guy who came was from Melbourne and so hard working and did not even take a real break from his job in hand, and he left with a smile and left us smiling also....The cleanup was very well done .. we will recommend you guys anytime... I have used these guys several times for large and small jobs. Their estimators are on time and fair. The crews that do the work have been very professional and clean up well before leaving the site. The admin staff are responsive and friendly. They seem to have have a very well run professional business.

Original Review: Our Strata has used Cody's Tree Service for years. In the past, the work quality was superior. But this year, it was less than acceptable. The globe cedars were improperly shaped, or not done on all sides - and some were not done at all. The cedar hedges were uneven, and sloping. We had them return to redo the job, but it was no better. In the past, they always left the property clean - and free of debris, but that was not the case this time. I don't know if there are new owners, or if they just are hiring unskilled employees, but it's not the quality or service we have come to expect from Cody's. UPDATE 1 August 2019 :: The company owner contacted me to follow up on this review and has subsequently inspected the work that was done, offered an explanation of how they missed the mark, and has scheduled a team to return to the property to redo the work. At no time did the owner make excuses. That, in itself, is impressive, and we accepted the offer to redo the work. To that end, I changed the rating to 4 stars and am satisfied the owner will ensure our satisfaction. Why isn't it 5 stars? Because we had a problem. But we are confident that once the work is redone, we will hire them again.

Will not be my first choice when I need another job done. Arborist was quite rude and short when we asked questions and no communication. Need 2 trees removed, did one tree then they left. No communication on when they were coming back. Called and left a message but no call back. They did return the next day and again were rude when asked questions. They left a huge mess as well. At least the trees are removed.

Obviously we are very satisfied with the quality of their work, fair pricing and their caring approach to maintaining our hedges and trees. We are well aware that there are other Tree services but have never felt the need to change. Cody's staff are knowledgeable and professional, always punctual and when job is completed our property is left tidy and our trees/hedges are kept healthy and pleasing to the eye ! The price was very competitive. When they showed up they were very professional and used all the appropriate safety equipment to remove the tree. After they left I could not tell they have even been there everything was so clean. I will definitely use them again if need arises in the future.

I have had 4 different interactions with Cody Tree service at this point. The services have included: Deep Fertilizing a tree, Doing a treatment on another tree for bronze birch borer, removing a large tree in my back yard, and spraying a large fir tree. The fertilizing and treatment were reasonably priced, quoted efficiently and carried out in a timely manner (I assume, I wasn't actually present). The Removal of the large tree was quoted quickly and the work done was done very well. My only complaint, and the reason I did not give them five stars is that getting them actually in to do the bigger jobs took a bit longer than I would have hoped. For the tree removal it kept getting pushed back, but it was during the fall/winter and weather was a factor for a couple of delays and there were some reasonable excuses for a couple others. The spraying was a similar situation.

No stars - gave them 1 because I had too. This company is a complete joke. Accepted their quote Sept 13th and was told they would be booking 4-6 weeks out. Several ignored emails later and I am sitting at 11 weeks and still waiting. Don’t waste your time with them, because they will just waste yours.

We were very impressed by the crew Ben, Mac and Mathew. Very professional. Our neighbours could not believe what an excellent clean up they did after the tree came down. They raked, used a blower and a broom. Nothing was left behind.

5 STAR SERVICE ☆☆☆☆☆ We started getting quotes to have our beautiful 25 year old maple tree trimmed way back in September. Some company's took a very long time to get back to us, others still have not even given us a quote or bothered to return our calls. Most would not even give us a quote without us being home, even though the tree sits right in our front yard. We are a busy family so being home for a quote was difficult, as we both work during business hours. Cody Tree Service was on it quickly! They emailed us a quote within 2 days. Their quote was very resonable and listed clearly what should be done. Knowing that this particular tree needs trimmed in the cooler months we didn't even get book them until December. That was not a problem at all. We set a date for January 11th (weather permitting). Kelowna had some horrible cold temperatures in January, and the trimming kept getting postponed. ( for the safety of the workers and our well loved tree). Everytime the date needed to be changed I received a very apologetic email from a very helpful and professional young lady by the name of Krystal. And finally a phone call from Cody when the snow got in their way from coming the last time. I work in customer service so my expectations are extremely high. I was so impressed by the communication and service that I received from Cody Tree Service. I really can't express how much it meant to me that they not only have resonable prices, and do great work, but the customer service is also there! Our tree was trimmed nicely, and ALL debris cleaned and taken away. To me quality and price means nothing if I can't trust the people I am doing business with. So thank you to Cody Tree Service. We had an issue with having our cedar trees cut poorly - twice. After speaking with the owner, someone came out today and gave us a complete refund, plus fertilized our cedars and left us with the remainder of a bag of fertilization for future use. We were very frustrated and felt we were being ignored, but I must say, the owner went far and beyond service for us. We did not expect a refund, we had agreed to have the fertilize the cedars. Thank you so much for what you did for us. We will certainly give your company another chance.
