They carry such a great variety of indoor & outdoor plants plus a ton of decor & tools. I can get everything I need there. We buy the our soil in bulk from better earth & it has done wonders for our garden crop. The family who runs this garden centre is lovely & I always love visiting

I am adding a star since they have a small selection of tropicals which look decently healthy and pest free. However, the local hardware stores have greater selection and also don't try to charge 100$ or more for now very common tropicalhouse plants. If you're on the hunt for a fiddle leaf fig, monstera or pilea I highly recommend going else where and saving yourself a load of money. Now, if they were offering very well established monsteras or plants with variegation I would say that 99$ would be a fair price. But for a plant in a 6 inch pot it is robbery. Put some philodendron white knights or pink princesses on the shelves and ask a marked up rate because those are much harder to find.

I'm so glad I stopped in to check out Better Earth Gardens. I came to check out their garden soil and left with a truck load because it looked great and was better priced than the local competition. Although the soil was all I came for I couldn't resist buying some gorgeous Gerber daisies and bright blooming Cacti. All their plants looked exceptionally healthy and also well priced. Customers come first here. Friendly, smiling, knowledgeable staff. I will definitely be back! Thank you.

Wonderful staff and selection! They have the cutest selection of pots, houseplants, flowers, etc. Staff are super friendly, creative (custom planting is beautiful!), and very knowledgeable. The customer service, knowledgeable staff, selection, and one-of-a-kind creations are worth every penny! You can buy all kinds of plants at big box stores, but you want get the same service and plants that have are well taken care of.

Went to Better Earth Gardens for the first time today. It was wonderful! I would spend all day every day there if I could. The plants were all amazing and the people were great! I have a medical mask exemption and have had a pretty terrible week with certain stores refusing to acknowledge medical exemptions even with proof. Not one person bothered me the whole time I was at Better Earth Gardens without a face covering on. I even had a discussion with the cashier about it and she was a pleasure to talk with. I will be doing all of my garden business with them in the future.

Better Earth Tropicals is an amazing garden centre. They have a variety of bulk soil and media available for pickup; either by the 5 gallon bucket or by the yard. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable, and very friendly. Not to mention the extensive greenhouses filled with an impressive array of vibrant, beautiful plants!

Family run business with the sweetest mother daughter team ever !! You will always find one of them there which means EPIC customer service. They go above and beyond to find or order what you need if there already amazing selection doesn’t have what u need. My house is FULL inside and out of huge to small plants all from Better Earth and only once or twice have I had a problem with a plant which they were more than happy to take back and or call supplier to find out there advice on the plant. Christmas is amazing with them :) Custom instal of garland & wreath makes my house magical every year !!! Will continue to recommend them to all my friends and family forever.

One of the plants my sister purchased had painted tips. Noticed the plant was painted when we got home and water it. And yes the plant was real. Not sure why they painted the plant. Probably because it has starting to die as it was so dry. Every plant I looked at was dry. Need to hire some people to water there plants as the "family" does not. Not worth the drive. Many more nice nurseries in Kelowna. My reply to the owners. This is a review therefore I am reviewing my experience and your product. You call me a liar all you what. But that make you delusional. The plant was painted on the tips. We definitely would have returned it if we noticed it sooner. However we are 2 hours away. It not worth it to drive back. And for what an exchange for more painted plants. Sorry but I don't want any more paint plants. And no I am not trying to hurt your business. I was very excited to see your store and all the plants you carry as I have a wide range of topical plants at my home. However I was very disappointed with the care of the plants and the displays. Honestly, you lack of care and poor business manner is what is hurting your business. I am on my phone writing this not a computer. Also this is my first review on google. You must have nothing better to do then attack people who give you honest reviews because YOU have nothing better to do. Maybe go water your plants. Instead of attacking me, you should reflect on ways to improve and better your business. So if you didn't paint the plant I guess the plant did it. Have a fantastic day from one less customer.

What a wonderful experience! A neighbour suggested I visit this new garden centre and I was thrilled with the wonderful personal service I received. I was anxious to find new additions for my patio pots and have now been back twice to complete my arrangements. The area is small enough to comfortably view all the options but big enough to carry a great variety of plants in an array of glorious colours.
